Can't say enough good things about the Riad and the staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. Food was excellent had breakfast and dinner there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped organize a driver to pick us up from the airport and guide for the medina. This Riad is also accessible by car for those who don't or can't navigate the medina alleys. Highly recommend.

Muito bem localizado, dentro da Medina, com o diferencial de que os carros chegam até a porta. O atendimento muito simpático e atencioso, resolveram os nossos passeios que foram ótimos. O Riad é lindo, quarto espaçoso, a cama e os travesseiros uma delícia. Tem um terraço com restaurante que serve uma comida muitíssimo boa também. Adoramos e recomendamos sem dúvida.
Muito bem localizado, dentro da Medina, com o diferencial de que os carros chegam até a porta. O atendimento muito simpático e atencioso, resolveram os nossos passeios que foram ótimos. Struttura eccellente, molto curata e con stanze davvero meravigliose. Si trova in una posizione molto comoda, raggiungibile in auto (a differenza di molti altri riad nella Medina) e strategica per raggiungere i principali luoghi d’interesse. Il personale è super, ci ha aiutato con ogni nostra esigenza, ci ha trovato delle guide per girare la città e si è occupato personalmente di tutte le nostre richieste. Colazione super abbondante in una terrazza molto bella che mostra l’intera città. Prezzo ottimo. Consigliatissimo!

The hotel shows old lovely heritage of Morocco. Staff are so helpful .. comprehensive explanation of what to expect from the beginning. Food is lovely especially at the top . Staff was helpful in facilitating guide to old city of fes and car to to Efrane.. Good Choice for family and groups

We loved our stay here. It felt like home away from home. We came into Fes feeling stressed and tired because of our long drive from the desert but the staff immediately made us feel welcomed and relaxed. Thank you Redouan and Soufian for making our stay in Fes so enjoyable! In order to have a great stay I always consider 3 main things: bed/room comfort, location, and staff- this place succeeded in all three There was street parking right outside. The location is perfect as it is really easy to get there by car and very easy to get to all the points of interest. The breakfast was included and was wonderful. We had dinner here both nights because the food is amazing. Some of the best food we had in Morocco! Gorgeous rooftop with great views. The beds were comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and the rooms are so beautifully designed and large and comfortable They also helped us book an amazing licensed tour guide (prestige tours) who showed us around all the most interesting parts of Fes

The Dar is fantastic! The service is top notch and they accommodation is traditional and beautiful - a real riad with a central courtyard exquisitely appointed and very well maintained as well as a roof top terrace for relaxing and dining.

When I arrived, the person who greeted me (Sofien sp?) brought me tea, and also sat with me and had a map of the Medina and highlighted areas and showed me how to get to the place I was going to dinner that night. He and the other man were so helpful for anything I needed. My room was big and comfortable. The place is very pretty. There is a terrace restaurant that I didn’t get to eat in, but I heard was good. It’s possible to drive to it but it is also a very short walk from the Bab Ziat. You do need a guide to see the Fes Medina. The Riad called to get me one and he was great! I had a long, wonderful tour of the area. I stayed two nights and the only issue was I couldn’t sleep the second night because of a family staying with a screaming and crying baby/toddler. I don’t blame the riad for that, but it was unfortunate. I left early the second morning and they packed me food for breakfast since they weren’t serving yet.

A beautiful building with authentic decoration. The restaurant on the terrace was excellent, with a selection of delicious local dishes that had clearly been carefully prepared. It was so good we ate there both nights, even though the menu was not extensive. The staff were exceptional, and were very helpful in organising a tour of the medina (highly recommended) and an early morning transfer to Rabat airport.

The riad is beautiful and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Overall, our stay was great however, there were some things that were a little unclear- such as the meal times. We were under the impression that we could get food or drinks at any time of day but many times when we went to the rooftop restaurant, there was nobody around, except for dinner time. It would be helpful to have something in the room that outlines the restaurant hours, etc.. Also, the laundry process was confusing and we were told different things about the cost. When we did recieve our clothes back, we were then told a different and higher price than we were originally. Would have been nice to know exact cost before giving our laundry to staff. Also, hotels.com says there is a pool at this riad but there is not. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with only minor things that could be improved on.

Very nice riad with a good location in the outskirts of the medina with good options for parking your car. The staff was very friendly and even upgraded our room for free. There is also a rooftop area where you can eat your breakfast and order dinner in the evening.

Un très bel endroit, facile à trouver et à 5 minutes de marche d’une porte de la médina. Service exceptionnel, personnel accueillant, très propre et nourriture très bonne. Je retourne si je suis de retour à fès un jour.

Excelentes atenciones! Riad muy bien cuidado y familiar. Especialmente gracias a Abdul por permitirnos dejar nuestras pertenencias en la habitación un día extra el día que dormimos en el desierto sin costo extra.

The unique rooms and layout. Definitely a different type of stay than what I am used to. Culture based for sure. The staff were nice and worked very hard to please. Location was great. Just enough distance to walk some of the old city to get to the Blue gate and close enough to quickly get out of the old city when needed.

The location is great- walking distance to major attractions, but in a quiet area away from noise and traffic. Staff is very accomodating and helpful. The decor is beautiful, just as shown in the pictures. Th breakfast is amazing. Would definitely stay here again if return.

This is a beautiful riad in the heart of Fes. It's very easy to walk to all the major sites, but the riad is still quiet and peaceful. The staff are also super helpful at arranging guides, reserving a local hammam (traditional bath and massage), and any other questions.

Amazing Riad, the best we’ve been to in Morocco. Its decorations are just gorgeous, we stayed at the Chefchaouen room which was lovely. Staff were kind and helpful with local tips. Recommendation: hire a tour guide to walk around Fes. The Medina has tons of small alleys, so it’s easy to get lost. There’s also plenty of “hasslers” who will try to confuse you with incorrect directions to take money off you.

Can't say enough good things about the Riad and the staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. Food was excellent had breakfast and dinner there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped organize a driver to pick us up from the airport and guide for the medina. This Riad is also accessible by car for those who don't or can't navigate the medina alleys. Highly recommend.

A beautiful building with authentic decoration. The restaurant on the terrace was excellent, with a selection of delicious local dishes that had clearly been carefully prepared. It was so good we ate there both nights, even though the menu was not extensive. The staff were exceptional, and were very helpful in organising a tour of the medina (highly recommended) and an early morning transfer to Rabat airport.

Si trova in una posizione molto comoda, raggiungibile in auto (a differenza di molti altri riad nella Medina) e strategica per raggiungere i principali luoghi d’interesse. The unique rooms and layout. Definitely a different type of stay than what I am used to. Culture based for sure. The staff were nice and worked very hard to please. Location was great. Just enough distance to walk some of the old city to get to the Blue gate and close enough to quickly get out of the old city when needed.

The location is great- walking distance to major attractions, but in a quiet area away from noise and traffic. Staff is very accomodating and helpful. The decor is beautiful, just as shown in the pictures. Th breakfast is amazing. Would definitely stay here again if return.

We were a group of 4 people. The staff welcomed us with open arms and hot Moroccan Tea. We sat in a gorgeous common room while the host explained several options for touring the area. He arranged a tour guide for us who took us through the Medina day after our arrival. The guide was a godsend as it would be easy to get lost within 5 minutes of walking around. Our guide, Ahmed, was delightful. We saw local markets, the university, the mosque (the outside only) , the leather tannery, the hamman and other local highlights. This Riad has a roof top restaurant and the food is prepared in-house by the mother and the sister of the family. We would highly recommend a stay at this RIAD!!
