It smells horrible and its better to have a shades at the pool

Great wheelchair accessible room!

These rooms are huge and the breakfast was good with eggs, waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc. Saved us some money as we didn't have to eat out for breakfast. The exercise room is great however the pool was just mid. Close to the outlet malls and restaurants.

Great place to stay, however there was quite a stench just at the hotel after a rain storm.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool was lacking shade and the water color was off so we opted not to use the pool which was a bummer for our kids. Our family enjoyed the variation of breakfast options.

The staff was great. The room was clean me very spacious and updated. The hallway carpet needed cleaning lots of stains on the first floor. The breakfast was good not a lot of meat options but a lot of options. The lobby and the entire hotel is very nice. the staff was great, but the pool area only had two chairs because they said they were waiting to get more becausethe others were broken and have been ordered. And the bottom of the pool had been cleaned up the debris, but the pool was actually clear and clean, and you can see the water but being that it is an outside pool. the others were broken and have been ordered. For the rate location from Texas State and all the stores 10 out of 10 for me.

Nice place. Could jazz up the area around the pool to not make it feel like it’s part of the parking lot.

Front desk service was excellent, went above and beyond to help us move rooms due to our 2 separate bookings. The breakfast was hot, clean, tasty, and the attendants were very helpful - brought us to-go containers, and cleaned up quickly. Overall, the kids used the sports court almost every day when it cooled off at night. We also appreciated the convenient washer/dryers and the ice machines.

The room wasn't very clean when we checked in. Sticky appliances and floor, etc. The side entry door worked sometimes and only 1 elevator was working. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good.

The hotel is very nice however, one of the elevators doesn’t work and hasn’t for some time.

I love the roomy suite with a full kitchen. It was a comfortable stay. The couch in our room was pretty dirty and the cabinet doors were a little grimy. Also the bed sheets were too small for the bed and kept slipping off. Overall we felt the room was comfortable but it could use a good deep cleaning.

The suites kitchens arent very stocked. Had to ask for everything from silver to pots and pans and plates. The walls and sofa were so dirty it was gross to look at. We covered the sofa with a clean sheet. And I had a need to get Clorox wipes to clean the walls

We did not have a good experience. Our floors were dirty. Shower curtain was stained. Blood stains at the bottomZ There was a dirty towel from a previous stay. The bathroom floor was dirty with hair. The living room AC did not cool. The room did not smell good. The hotel in all did not smell good.

Dirty furniture and carpet throughout the whole hotel, front desk lady at check in not very helpful or accommodating, breakfast below average. Will not be staying here again!

Everything was clean!

The room was ok but there was a lot of noise from the floor upstairs. The AC didn't seem to work right and the ceiling fan made a lot of noise. The bed was ok and the rest of the unit was nice.

The suite was VERY spacious with all the amenities, including a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, plates, cups and silverware.

Would defiantly stay again. Room was very roomy

I had to swap rooms as the the bath tub was continually dripping and full of standing water. Second room, curtain was broken and wouldn’t close, sink faucet was only able to give a small drip of water, and the tv was completely blue and ruined. But the shower worked and I didn’t want to repack and move another time so I stayed. But I won’t be back, the staff was helpful but there was no manager and wouldn’t be until this past weekend. I left my contact information and never heard from a manager. Pretty bad maintenance for the nice looking facility and pretty disappointing that management never responded to me.

Overall it was a decent place to stay but I feel it was overpriced. The furniture and appliances could use some updating. My son had to sleep on the sofa bed in the other room and the refrigerator was making loud noises throughout the night making it hard for him to sleep.

Staff was friendly. Great hot breakfast. The sofa and chair were worn and soiled. I could not get wi fi on my iPad. I know it's not my iPad because I just vacationed at another hotel and it worked fine. I think it's the fact that you have to be a Hilton Honors member which I was to get free wi-fi and it worked on my phone but not my iPad. I have limited service on my phone so it was not a good experience for me. I don't know if I will stay again because of the wifi issue. They should re-do their wi-fi policy. I think that I deserve a partial refund because of it.

1. Positives: Well-appointed rooms in a new hotel. Welcoming front-desk. Good house-keeping staff. 2. Negatives: 1. Highway traffic noise 2. Funky room layout. It looks great and is very functional. However, the bathroom sink is located near the bed. If you use the sink at night, it will wake up the person sleeping in the bed.

Hotel room is huge , clean with a lots of lightings and outlets for charging . The beds with 2 top mattresses , no bed skirt and was made untidy. Small kitchen lacks of stuffs : no spoons, only 1 plate . One of cup uncleaned with some stained on it . Only one small pot with unmatched lid . You book a suite but you can not cook anything with this kind of kitchen . Breakfast is poor with some basic food. Never come back.

The staff and hotel were great. The only issue was, we needed fresh towels and asked several times and were told some would be brought to us. None were brought and when i went to front desk i was told theu had none in office and it was too late for housekeeping. Unacceptable

Showed up and no room available. I showed our reservation number and she said there was a glitch in the sustem. We were not the only ones denied a room. ros

Check in person was nice and welcoming Truly seemed to want to help myself and my family upon check in as we needed help with things in the next few hours. I.e…towels , snacks, etc…

Everyone at the front desk and other employees were so amazing and helpful and I would definitely come back and stay there and I will tell all my families and friends to stay there and thank you all for your amazing hospitality service and friendliness

I was extremely disappointed that housekeeping never came to my room during my entire stay. Also, I am no stranger to budget hotel breakfast and am generally happy with whatever is provided, but I can only describe most of what was provided as a hot breakfast as slop. And the non-hot options were abysmal.

Terrible. We were traveling and arrived overnight. Front entrance was locked and no one was at the front desk to let us in. After ringing the intercom several times and waiting out front, another guest opened the door. There was another guest at the front desk waiting to speak to someone. The front trash cans were overflowing and there was trash in several places on the way up to our room. There were kids running in hallways past midnight. The small sofa where my young boys slept was filthy with stains on the armrests and all the cushions. The bedding was clean but thankfully we brought our own blankets for them. My husband took a quick shower and the tub didn’t want to drain, and 3 of us still needed to shower. He called the front desk about the issue and they said there wouldn’t be a maintenance person in until Monday. We asked to switch rooms but they told us they were unable and were sorry about the shower issue. My husband spent half an hour working on the drain. He wanted to watch the news in the morning & there was no tv remote to the bedroom tv. There were only two towels for a room occupancy of four. We called the front desk several times for towels with no answer. We finally got a call back and were told they all the towels were dirty and needed to be washed. Our kids had to share our towels and we ended up missing breakfast. We were told because we booked through a third party there was nothing they could do.

The front desk lady lied to me and wasn’t rude but also wasn’t friendly when she told me that they were overbooked and my reservation was canceled.

Very beautifully maintained, breakfast was very good, and the location is perfect, there is a target, academy, ulta and many other great stores in walking distance, also lots of food options. Definitely will be our go to when we are back in the area! Never worried about our car and we had a bag tied ro the roof that we left overnight.

Easy to access location just off the interstate. Many shopping and dining options very close as well. Check in was not at 3:00 as advertised as they did not have my room ready. Admittedly, I was there five minutes before 3:00, but I was advised to come back at 3:30, so we did, and the room was ready then. Not a huge deal, but definitely inconvenient. Room is a nice size and clean. Comfortable beds and couch. A good value overall.

Short drive to / east access to Texas State University.

Property was easy to access, the room was spacious and included everything we needed and then some.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY AND CLOSE TO EVERYTHING

Great property and friendly staff. Breakfast is lacking quality but other than that would stay again

Room was clean, staff was friendly. Zero hot water the day we were supposed to checkout - finally got warm when we were walking out the door to leave. Breakfast was subpar - no healthy options besides yoplait yogurt, no granola or fruit. Eggs were runny wet/soupy mixed with some type of meat. Would have preferred regular scrambled eggs by themselves.

Great place to stay. Will definitely stay here again. Off the interstate so it was quiet. Room was very spacious. Breakfast was very good and well staffed. The staff were all dressed in a professional manner and courteous.

Nice, clean, affordable. Breakfast options could be a little better. Fresh coffee was not available after breakfast hours. Furniture in the lobby was filthy, could really use cleaning or replacing. But the furniture in our room was in very good condition. The staff was exceptional, although the breakfast attendant was not very pleasant or accommodating (guests had to ask that food and coffee be replenished. I usually tip the breakfast attendant but did not this time). Overall, very good experience. We have stayed here before and will stay again.

Breakfast was cold. Not sure how safe the food was to eat since it was eggs and sausage. No regular syrup for the waffles only artificially sweetened sugar free syrup.
