Beds are comfortable and rooms are very clean. The lady that checked me in super late at night was amazing and professional. The only thing I wish they did have was a pool. But other than that I have nothing to complain about.

The Scottish inns hotel in Cresson Texas was so clean and convenient as it is located right off a main road. I reserved a king size bed and the room was large with a mini frig and a coffee pot. There is also a shaded smoking area outside the back door. Continental breakfast is good and I had fun making waffles on the cast iron waffle maker. The staff are top notch, friendly yet professional. The ice machine is constantly working which was great for me as I drink ice water constantly. The daily rate is very reasonable on hotels.com. You won't regret staying here. I stayed about a week with my girlfriend and had a great time. Satellite TV is also wonderful and great for relaxing.

Staff was very extremely friendly and helpful. Affordable. Conveniently across from the racetrack. Probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Interior is very 1980 hotel, but Im just there to sleep. Hallway was warm (as mentioned in another review) Again, don't care. I'm not sleeping in the hallway. Room was big enough to remodel into a suite. Stove/sink/mini fridge included. I glanced at breakfast and was standard continental.

one night getaway, room was nice, fairly clean and comfortable. No pool, did not partake of the free breakfast. Back door did not accept key, had to walk around to another door. Shower curtain had mold. Couch was stained. Beds were very comfortable. No sign of bugs.

Everything was so meticulously clean. The rooms were very quiet, roomy and accommodating. Wish I would have known there was a stove and medium size refrigerator in each room. I then could have made some eggs, although breakfast area had waffles and yogurt for some protein. Weekends you do have warm breakfast. I appreciated price and clean, quiet room. Will stay here again my next trip near here.

We were not disappointed with our stay at Scottish Inns in Cresson. The staff is very friendly, and you can tell they're trying to maintain an older hotel. Not doing a bad job at it for the most part. The common areas and our room were clean, if not showing some wear. The hotel is very dark, however. A little refresh to lighten everything up would do wonders. The bed was comfortable, but the TV was quite old. Our other single complaint worth mentioning was the breakfast. We love that it starts early, but there were no protein options other than yogurt. Lots of bread, cereal, oatmeal, and we loved the Texas-shaped Belgian waffles, but no protein. It was pretty much an 80's-style "continental breakfast". Also, there is NO pool. (There used to be one in the back, but it's filled with dirt and plants now.) We weren't planning on using it, but if we had kids and were counting on the pool as advertised in the listing, it would have been a problem.

Good, inexpensive stay across from the racetrack. Things as they should be, real scrambled eggs on the breakfast buffet. Basic lodging. Weird that we had a full-sized range in our room, but I guess if you wanted to cook a turkey, you'd be good to go. :-)

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The place is a little bit outdated, but the rooms are clean and the bed was comfy. The floor was really creaky in the bathroom and the fan/vent was loud but I didn't use it. Overall the room had the necessities. The curtains in the room didn't close, so I clipped them together for privacy. My stay was good. I didn't mind this place and if I ever decide to head in that direction again, I will most likely stay here. Thank you Scottish Inns.

It was a nice hotel and huge room with full size stove. Clean and close to race track. Good tv channel selection. For some reason, I slept terrible both nights. The window unit would not just stay on run fan for white noise, clicked on and off throughout the night. Would not stay again because of need for sleep.

We were there on a Saturday morning and they did. Also waffles and various pastries. Better than normal complimentary breakfast. Room had a couch and comfortable bed. I'd stay here again.

What I liked about this property was the most wonderful way that the owner and manager was able to understand my situation when my airline canceled my flight to Texas. I contacted the facility and they were very understanding. Manager worked with my arrival hour changes and they we're able to accommodate my stay once I finally when did arrive. Great guest services by management! I give 5 stars!!!!

The owner and staff were ABSOLUTELY fanststic. Friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any requests. Most of Scottish Inn the weekwnd I was there( Oct 18/20) was filled with Spartan Racers. When owner found out that most of us would not be able to partake in the free breakfast due the fact that we all need to be at out race even before 5am when the hotel started serving it, her and her staff made sure breakfast was served at 4am just so we could have a good meal before running out very strenuous event. I HIGHLY rcommend for anyone that is staying in the area to make sure to stay here.. If I could give it more than 5 stars Scottish Inns would get it.

I love staying here! The owners are very friendly and helpful, the maid service is always courteous and wonderful! Had one opportunity to ask for maintenance to come for a noise in bathroom toilet. The we’re prompt, fixed the problem quickly and was very courteous!!! This place is a 10 star place!!! Very quiet and calming.
