Very easy to find, lots of parking, easy check-in, comfortable bed in a spacious room, plenty of outlets for charging devices, hot shower, nice toiletries, coffee maker in room. My only complaint is that the bathroom door had some sort of very sticky substance on it.

Bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Hallways/stairwells were just gross. Stairwells were especially dirty with hair, litter and construction materials 3rd floor door handle in stairwell is broken when coming up from the pool. Pool wasn’t clean. Coffee line was long every morning.

Lobby sitting area inaccessible, full of huge boxes. Fitness room & business center locked & not usable. Carpets in hallways & room badly needed vacuuming.Discarded furniture outside in various locations. Several tall plants in pots - all covered in white fungus & clearly dead. Just another indication of unkempt hotel. Definitely not up to usual standard of a Best Western Plus. Room itself was acceptable, except for carpet & non cold fridge. Breakfast ok too. Wouldn't stay again though.

The pool was filthy all 4 days we were there and I don’t see anyone come to clean it. I stayed here purposefully so my son could utilize the pool. A waste of money as I could’ve stayed at another location and their pool was clean. For my son to walk to the pool and turn and ask not to have to go into the dirty pool because he was concerned, do better! The customer service was ok but everyone had a different reason the pool was not changed at the time they told me it would be (no one came)

Everything was fine only complaint the pool was not in good condition water was green. That was one of my main reasons to stay at this hotel for the pool but I couldn’t even use it.

I didn’t like that the pool was duty, very duty. The receptionist was kind. There was rules I wasn’t aware such as $30 pet fee and $100 holding on my credit card for “security deposit.”

The light switch in the bathroom had something gross on it, I could see streaks on the bathroom counter which indicates a dirty cloth was used to clean. Parking was easy. I left before breakfast started as I was there for a marathon.

The first room we were given was completely dirty and never cleaned. We went downstairs and front desk was nice no apology though. Put us in another room. Hallways were dirty and the second floor stunk. Also didn’t look like areas vacuumed in a long time. Second room was ok but shower was filthy, hair all over bathroom floor. Looked to be pubic hair. No tissues. Stain on side of comforter.

First room they gave us smelled like cigarettes. The second room had small roaches and mold in the tub. The ice bucket had mold and dirt around the lid.Staff was nice. Breakfast looked good but we didn’t eat it.

The proximity to the racetrack was very nice. There were places to eat nearby too. The bed was comfortable. Things were clean and the breakfast was ok. You could see they were doing cosmetic updates. We did report to the front desk that our AC wasn't cooling as needed for the extremely hot weather.

The fire alarm went off at 1:30 am in the morning waking up the entire hotel. I wanted some kind of compensation for the inconvenience and got simply weak excuses upon check out at the front desk. Unacceptable!

Overall, my stay at the Best Western was very nice. The service was wonderful; the woman who checked me in at the front desk was very kind and helpful, and the man setting up for breakfast at 4:30 am (before breakfast was open) brought me a bagel, which was very much appreciated before my road trip. I stayed by myself and felt perfectly safe as a woman in my 20s. The only reason I took off a star was because I had an issue with my first room, but the woman at the desk was able to set me up with a nice new room right away. I would recommend the hotel and will stay again!

I was travelling alone with 3 children. We knew we were going to arrive very late at the hotel (past midnight) therefore we called the hotel to let them know and they confirmed our reservation and told us that it was fine as long as we arrived before 3AM. We arrived at 1:30am and greeted very rudely by the night staff named Keith. He told us that the hotel had been overbooked so he didn't have a room for us. Even after showing the confirmation number and letting him know (and showing him) that we had called to confirm, he still refused to give us a room (said he had 2 left) and was very rude. He didn't even help to find us another hotel nearby. I was basically left stranded alone with 3 kids with no hotel room at 1:30am...all of the surrounding hotels were already fully booked so ended up sleeping in our car which was quite a frightening experience as a woman alone with kids!

Staff second to none. We arrived late towing a large trailer and sadly couldn’t find any parking. One of the managers / owners met me after my first pass around the building, and helped / directed me to a spot that worked out great. It’s rare these days to see this type of forethought and caring

The stay was ok except for the front desk assigning my room to another guest and they just walked in since their key worked. Also had a visit from the front desk when I was in the shower and because I couldn’t answer the door they proceeded to swipe their key and try and enter my room. Thankfully I had the deadbolt on.

The management and staff we encountered were all very friendly, genuinely polite, and thorough in their work. We immediately felt relaxed and well taken care of, even after arriving tired and cranky late at night. The room was super clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the bath towels and bed sheets looked like new. But the best part, especially for a light sleeper like myself, was the extremely quiet AC unit! The breakfast was great as well - in both quality and options. We stayed at Best Western Plus Glen Allen Inn for 1 night on our way back from a college visit. We felt welcome, safe, and relaxed. I'd love to go back and would definitely recommend this hotel!

We chose this hotel due to its location to the Richmond Raceway for the NASCAR race. I would definitely stay there again. It was 15 minutes from the track. The staff (especially Kathryn at the front desk) were so helpful & nice. Thank you for a great place to stay on our weekend get away!

The stay was nice. The only thing I would recommend would be a better continental breakfast. The eggs, sausages and potatoes were definitely undercooked. Possibly the worst continental breakfast I've experienced at any hotel I stayed in. Aside that the stay was fine.

My husband and I were traveling with our dog, and this was a one night stopover. We were extremely pleased at the quality of our stay! The receptionist was friendly, helpful and accommodating. She worked hard to get us a room that would be convenient for our dog. She also gave recommendations on events happening in the area. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was definitely above average — in addition to offering eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns, there was a waffle machine, a yogurt machine, oatmeal, cereal, numerous baked goods, fresh fruit, juice and an upscale coffee machine. We will definitely be bookmarking this place, and anytime we are traveling through, we would stay here again!
