Such a conveniently located hotel that was very comfortable and was a great place to stay while visiting Bergen! Staff was so helpful and friendly. Room was sufficient. Not too many amenities such as no gym or sauna. The breakfast was delicious however!

Good location with an excellent breakfast buffet and nice rooms. Unfortunately it was quite warm when we were there and our AC did not work. Several other guests had the same problem and the staff did confirm there was a problem effecting multiple rooms and they offered us a fan and a credit. One of the two elevators also was out of order during our stay. Otherwise this seemed like a good hotel and hopefully they can get their maintenance issues fixed.

This is a great location while in Bergen! Super walkable, great view and the breakfast was really great! They also have free coffee and tea in the lobby. Staff were kind. I just wish the rooftop was open beginning of May

The bar and restaurant were just opening and somewhat disorganized. Both were closed one day due to staffing issues. I’m sure this will improve as they get organized. Otherwise, a good hotel in an excellent location close to the waterfront.

There is no parking on the premises. Parking is brutal and front desk didnt know far it is.. no clarity or details..just run around at night try to find it..Epic fail, terrible customer experience..not clearly though out...

Ordentliches Hotel, perfekt gelegen mitten Inder Stadt und in 6 Minuten zu Fuß von der Straßenbahn Endhaltestelle zu erreichen. Mit der Straßenbahn kommt man super vom Flughafen ins Stadtzentrum. Schwach: da wir Hotel nicht direkt gebucht hatten, hätten wir 150 NOK zahlen müssen, um 1.5h früher in das (fertige) Zimmer zu kommen. Das ist kein Service. Roof Bar ist geschlossen

Ble stående 25 minutter i resepsjonen å vente på resepsjonisten ved innsjekk. Det sto en lapp at vi er straks tilbake og vi kunne ringe ett nr så kom det noen for å hjelpe. Satt 15 minutter i kø for å komme gjennom telefonen. Rommet som vi fikk var ikke vasket ut. Så ut som en svinesti etter noen som hadde hatt fest der. Mange tomme ølbokser og luktet veldig fyll. Ikke veldig kundevennlig resepsjonist. Ingen beklagelse eller noe reduksjon. Kjempedårlig opplevelse.

The hotel was in a great location, the staff were great and the view of the harbour was first class. It was a shame the windows hadn't been cleaned for a while but they did open up as one unit allowing unspoilt views and photos. The room was generally clean but the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from the previous guest and there were a few hairs on the bedding, thus the lower score but really everything else was spotless. The staff were great, really helpful and the buffet breakfasts there are up there with the best. The hotels strong points are certainly the kitchen and bar area. I would pay the extra for a harbour view, you wont regret it.

Wir wurden aufgrund eines Wasserschadens in einem anderen Magic Hotel (Korskirgen) untergebracht. Leider wurden wir erst bei unserer Ankunft darüber informiert, so dass wir mit unserem schweren Gebäck noch einmal umziehen mussten (nur 5 Minuten Fußweg, aber über Kopfsteinpflaster). Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, hatte auch ausreichend Platz, aber kein Fenster, sondern nur einen nicht zu öffnenden schmalen Glasschlitz in einen Flurbereich mit Glasdach. 😕 Frühstück war ausreichend. Allerdings wurden die Tische selten nach einem Gastwechsel abgewischt und auch das Nachlegen am Frühstücksbufett verlief teilweise schleppend. Die Lage war sehr gut (Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig und Supermarkt im Gebäude).

Due to a filthy sink, we were moved to a room which didn't have a bathroom door (the only other room free) The second day we were moved to a fabulous room with a view of the harbour as a sort of apology. The fire alarm had us all outside at 1230am on the first night thanks to a drunken guest. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The ladies on reception tried their hardest for us and were genuinely caring. Regrettably they had no back up from either maintenance or management over a weekend

Breakfast was wonderful. A lot of options to choose from. We had to switch rooms 3 times. The 1st time - room was on the 5th floor(when we opened the bathroom it smelled so bad and there was pee left on the toilet and a sock under the bed. Room was a bit small. Second room was on the 6th floor way smaller than the 1st room so we didn't like it. The final room was on the 2nd floor - big one but the windows does not open up since window is facing the restaurant. I liked the heated floor of the bathroom. The front staff was kind enough to provide us with a fan to let the air circulate and make our room comfortable and cool. All in all I like this hotel. Close proximity to many sites, restaurants and transportation. A bit pricey but i think worth it.

Lo negativo: El edificio donde viviamos estaba bastante deteriorado, una renovación no le vendría nada mal. El apartamento estaba bien pero polvo en cantidad encima de los bordes de los cuadros, el cenicero lleno de colillas y una mesa algo oxidada en el balcón. Encima tiene uno que limpiar platos, cubiertos, platos y utensilios a mano si no quieres que te hagan un cargo adicional de 450,- coronas (aproximadamente 40€), cosa que me parece increible que un hotel valorado en 4 estrellas te exija. No hay aire acondicionado, y los días que nos hospedamos fueron muy calurosos, así que tuvimos que pedir un pequeño ventilador en recepción y dormir con la puerta del balcón abierta, a parte que había mucho ruido de gente por la calle borracha gritando a altas horas de la madrugada. Dos días seguidos habían personal del hotel de limpieza tomando sus descansos y fumando fuera del apartamento casi solo salir por la puerta. Lo positivo: Personal muy amable de la recepción. El desayuno era bueno y variado, el café excelente. La ubicación muy centrica de todo. El baño del apartamento muy amplio y moderno.

O hotel é bem localizado, próximo a restaurantes e lojas. No entanto, minha experiência poderia ser melhor. O quarto que me colocaram ficava no oitavo andar, porém o elevador só chega até o sexto andar. Com isso, você tem de arrastar suas malas pelas escadas do hotel. Chegando ao quarto, havia urina no vaso sanitário. O quarto só possuía uma janela redonda, 2 metros acima do chão. Passei duas noites no hotel e o cartão de acesso desmagnetizou no dia seguinte. Por fim, o café da manhã é bem regular.

Bra beliggenhet og god frokost. Rommet var dårlig med ingen mulighet til å åpne da vinduet var ut mot baren i 1. etasje inne på hotellet. Ikke mulig å justere varmen på rommet som førte til alt for høy temperatur. Sengene er utrolig harde og dårlige.

Great location on the wharf, by all the shops and restaurants. The free Breakfast was really good and lots of options. Room was on 6th floor and was basic and ok, heating didn’t seem to work all the time but heated floor in bathroom was great for drying wet clothes. I would have preferred a kettle in the room rather than have to keep going to reception to get a hot drink every time & ask for milk, overal great stay.

The hotel was fine - in a good central location. My room was good with a great view. Breakfast was incredible! Down side was the staff and time waiting on check-in. It was the middle of the night but I waited 30 minutes for anyone to appear.

Schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht und guter Lage. Allerdings tagsüber Verkehrslärm von Kopfsteinpflasterstrasse (für mich noch ok), Freitag abends/nachts furchtbar laut durch viele Autos mit Musik vor Hotel/Fischmarkt. Mein Gesamteindruck trotzdem positiv, aber für Aufenthalte am Wochenende muss man wissen dass es durch Nähe zu Hafen / Ausgehbereich laut werden kann.

O quarto era excelente, limpo, com decoração moderna e de bom gosto, e banheiro amplo com bom chuveiro. O ralo do nosso chuveiro estava entupido e começou a alagar. A recepção nos ofereceu um apartamento inteiro com cozinha, sala e 2 quartos, sem custo adicional. Foi maravilhoso. O café da manhã é uma atração à parte. Acho que nunca vi nada de tanta qualidade. Variedade com qualidade. Até o café passado era café especial/gourmet. A régua é muito alta. A localização é excelente, ao lado do Fish Market, perto de todas as atrações. Se voltasse a Bergen, ficaria lá com certeza.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect. Room design and hygiene can be improved. It would be better if a curtain can be added to the shower area so that toilet floor won’t get wet. Also, the wash basin was partly clogged, and this could be a problem.
