Nice clean hotel. Rooms are small but very clean and perfect for a city break. Walking distance to tram (T1 line) and main tourist site (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia). I recommend getting the IstanbulKart for getting around on public transport.

Staff very friendly. Room was very clean. At first I thought the beds would be hard but I slept well! Lovely Turkish breakfast. Very close to Cemberlitas tram station as well as Sultanahmet mosque and Haga Sofia. I would highly recommend.

The distance to historic sites was excellent, and the service at the front desk and from the cleaning ladies was impressive. The hotel was always clean and felt safe at all times. I would definitely return!

The Primero Hotel was exceptional. We enjoyed our stay especially the included breakfast which was a Turkish breakfast buffet which was amazing with a wide selection of choices. The hotel room and shower were very nice with new modern features and the cleanliness level was high. It was walking distance to the tram and sites like the Grand Bazaar.

Booked this last minute for a 1 day layover in Istanbul. I was very impressed with the hospitality of the hotel. I was greeted as soon as I arrived and offered refreshments. I was also given a map to help orient me with directions on how to see the sights which were close by. Rooms were very clean and updated. I was leaving too early for breakfast though they still offered to have something for me. I had to leave before 5 AM next day but someone was in the hotel lobby to assist me. They had arranged airport shuttle which also arrived promptly (I was a little worried about this part since airport is so far but thankfully it was a seamless process).

El colchón de la cama estaba levantado en el medio y hundido hacia un costado, lo cual lo hacía muy pero muy incómodo. Cuando llegaba al cuarto, había mucho olor a desague de aguas sucias proveniente del baño. La TV no funcionaba. The staff were very welcoming and they were extremely helpful. The room was clean but lacked storage space, maybe okay for an overnight stay but not for 6 nights. We did notice that the room next to ours was bigger, albeit this was the day before we left or we would have asked to change. The hotel has good location for all the tourist attractions and there a few restaurants nearby.

Personal war sehr freundlich insbesondere Ömer. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Die Ausstattung ist nicht mehr die neueste. Tresorschloss war defekt. Um auf die Hauptstraße zu kommen, muss man steilaufwärts gehen, was für Personen mit Behinderung sehr schwierig sein könnte.

Location: The hotel is in great location. Its walking distance from many historical places. Lots of restaurants and other eating places nearby to choose from. Staff: Helpful and accommodating staff I must say. Rooms: We had a superior room but we felt it was small, with a double bed there was hardly any room to move. It was also a bit noisy at night. We could hear people taking in neighboring rooms and traffic noise outside which was a little annoying while trying to sleep.

Great option in Sultanahmet, close to the main places in the Old City - near to the Grand Bazar and 10 minutes walking distance from Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the Cisterns. Yasin at the front desk was excellent at trying to make sure we were comfortable and attended to our every need. He even booked us excursions and took care of every detail. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We spent 3 nights at Primero. Great location & walking distance to tourist attractions like Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cisterns etc. Plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby. Good breakfast with great selection and something different on offer every day. Ozkar on reception was professional and very knowledgable about the area. We renamed him to #1 as he is just the best!! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely property.

Wow. Amazing staff and amazing location. Berat and Veysel at front desk and Omer were simply amazing. They handled everything from our airport transportation to local guidance make our stay an amazing one. Location is great. About 5 mins to Grand Bazar and 5-6 minutes to Blue Mosque. Thank you for making our first trip to Istanbul an amazing one.

Loved the place. Clean room with AC and nice beds. Excellent location and walkable to all local attractions. Every member of staff is eager to help guests. Special thanks to Semih who was very helpful with luggage and checkin. Imam was new and great with assisting late night queries and follow up. Ogessar. My 5-year and I spent 24 hours in Istanbul and had the pleasure to stay at Primero Hotel. Even though the reviews were excellent, we were still pleasantly surprised by the quality, comfort and good looks of this boutique hotel. Our bed was super comfy and the room just smelled so nice, and our bathroom was well appointed with plush towels. Overall a very nice, modern hip feel. The breakfast was incredible, what a spread! It was a mix of Turkish food and an American breakfast, served buffet style, wonderfully fresh and so tasty. The area is super central also, walking distance to all the tourist attractions and sights: Grand Bazaar, Haga Sophia, Blue Mosque, tons of pretty plazas and parklets, plenty of restaurants and convenience stores and we felt very safe walking back at 11 at night. Our host at check-in was also so kind and extremely helpful, we just can’t wait to be back and staying for an extended period here!

We are very impressed by hotel staff Veysel who gave us a good orientation of the area we stay in as well as recommended the places to visit. He has helped us greatly with directions and booking of taxis and places to visit. Appreciate his great service. The hotel room is clean and pleasant with Aircon working according to our needs. Breakfast buffet is widespread and yummy. Good place to stay.

Primero hotel is extremely convenient to several attractions nearby, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Grand Bizarre. My mother is older and although the walk to grand bizarre was all uphill she navigated it easily. There are numerous food options nearby. The thing that stood out the most besides how clean the hotel was was the staff. They were friendly and professional and attended to our every request.

Location: The hotel is in great location. Its walking distance from many historical places. Lots of restaurants and other eating places nearby to choose from. Staff: Helpful and accommodating staff I must say. Rooms: We had a superior room but we felt it was small, with a double bed there was hardly any room to move. It was also a bit noisy at night. We could hear people taking in neighboring rooms and traffic noise outside which was a little annoying while trying to sleep.

We checked in at 3am and the rooms were ready for us. There was a small mix-up in the beds but that was quickly remedied. The staff was very friendly and it is a very short walk to the public rail nearby. The morning breakfast was good and well stocked with plenty of options. My only comment is if you have someone who is not very mobile, there may be some difficulties as the entrance is about 5 steps up from the street and the walk to the transportation is fairly steep. We were fortunate as we had private tour guide picking us up so did not worry about the steep climb. The hotel is in an ideal location for tourists. If I come again with just my wife and friends, I will be coming here.

We spent 3 nights at Primero. Great location & walking distance to tourist attractions like Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cisterns etc. Plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby. Good breakfast with great selection and something different on offer every day. Ozkar on reception was professional and very knowledgable about the area. We renamed him to #1 as he is just the best!! I was travelling with a family of four in the family room. While the room was a bit tight for four people and luggage, the staff service was outstanding. My husband needed to have his glasses fixed and the staff was able to expedite having it repaired. All 5 of our luggage was lost and the staff was helpful in calling the airlines on multiple occasions to retrieve them back. We had to have laundry done due to the lost luggage and the staff helped out with that as well. Breakfast was great with a nice variety of options. The hotel was close to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Gran Bazaar and with MANY restaurant and shopping options. Would highly recommend. We did have some electrical issues in the room but we were able to deal with it.

My 5-year and I spent 24 hours in Istanbul and had the pleasure to stay at Primero Hotel. Even though the reviews were excellent, we were still pleasantly surprised by the quality, comfort and good looks of this boutique hotel. Our bed was super comfy and the room just smelled so nice, and our bathroom was well appointed with plush towels. Overall a very nice, modern hip feel. The breakfast was incredible, what a spread! It was a mix of Turkish food and an American breakfast, served buffet style, wonderfully fresh and so tasty. The area is super central also, walking distance to all the tourist attractions and sights: Grand Bazaar, Haga Sophia, Blue Mosque, tons of pretty plazas and parklets, plenty of restaurants and convenience stores and we felt very safe walking back at 11 at night. He has helped us greatly with directions and booking of taxis and places to visit. Appreciate his great service. The hotel room is clean and pleasant with Aircon working according to our needs. Breakfast buffet is widespread and yummy. Good place to stay.
