This is poor example of a Hampton Inn. It was being renovated however the rooms not being renovated were very poor quality. Dirty and run down.The pool wasn't open which was ok but it was dirty and unkempt and in full view for people to see. Hilton needs to quality control their Hampton Inns as they are VERY inconsistent. This being a example of that!!

One of my go to hotels when I’m in town… Always an A Rating, but not this time around. Room was dated, and had patch repairs in the bathroom ceiling, from a previous leak, or something to that nature…. Neither of the two treadmills in the gym work, however, I was still able to utilize the free weights, and get a good workout in… staff were awesome, as usual!

All employees were pleasant and friendly. Jared at check in was exceptional. The breakfast was good. Not a lot of variety but enough to get the day started. It would have been nice to know the pool wasn't available. The area was in a great location.

If you don't need housekeeping to do your room and you don't care about using the treadmills in the fitness room, this hotel is very good and I'd recommend it. We stayed 4 nights, housekeeping never did our room. The fitness room looks great on the website, but both treadmills were out of order for our entire stay. Everything else about our stay was just fine.

There was a giant trash bag that sat next to the elevator for the two days we were there. The smell was awful and the elevator reeked of cigarettes. The hallways also had a very musty smell. The staff was nice and friendly but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The manager on duty when we checked was great. The property wasn’t as clean as it should be for the price. Our bathroom in our room was gross. The tub wasn’t clean; it had brown stuff up the walls of the tub. We found someone else’s clothes in our room! The bedding had stains all over them.

Room was spotless. Everything was fine. I wish there was more vegetarian breakfast options for Indians like us who are vegetarian and don’t eat any meat or even eggs. Like baked potatoes which Hiltoo has at other locations like Home 2 suites. At least green beans would be a great option too

Hotel overall was good but the bed and pillows need to updated. The mattress and pillows were flat and uncomfortable and left me with back, shoulder and neck pains. Definitely time for an upgrade.

I was in the middle of moving—my house was nearly empty and full of boxes—so I booked a hotel to relax, order some takeout, and binge my favorite shows. I chose this place based on its high rating, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the reviews. The room felt damp and very dated, and the TVs weren’t smart TVs, which meant I couldn’t stream anything and unwind like I’d planned. It’s pet-friendly, which is great, but my dog spent an unsettling amount of time sniffing around the room, making me worry that it hadn’t been properly cleaned and may have had previous pet accidents. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Just an over night stay, but hotel was very clean, updated and quiet. Ridgeland is a pristine, suburban area with lots of amenities. Restaurants, groceries, and gas 5 minutes or less away. Easy access on and off I 55.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had coming home to Mississippi. No wonder why things are going down so fast. No type of hospitality. They just tell you how they wont accommodate you for any reason. All because of a simple technicality. There were mishaps on all 3 ends including mines, but I take responsibility for my part so what about the others? Im in customer service as Well and even though there are faults on every end in that situation, I was still willing to spend money at this location. but never again. Management needs to review this and understand what customer service is. (Maintain Profitability at all Cost). Good Luck- I will never book a stay at this location ever again.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. We were arriving late, so I called to make sure they did not cancel us after midnight. The person on duty was kind enough to get us checked in so we could get in quickly upon arrival. Very courteous and helpful!

The staff was like a championship team. Everyone knowing and doing their job. Karen one of the desk managers was so thoughtful and professional. Seven family members from out of state lodged there. We had a funeral to attend. The compassion led us all to say we will stay there when in Ridgeland/ Jackson area. Thanks.

Highly Disappointing Stay: Poor Staff Behavior and Worn Property My stay was extremely disappointing and fell far short of expectations, especially considering we chose this area believing it offered the safest and best hotels in Central Mississippi. The most concerning issue was the unacceptable disrespect shown by a staff member toward my daughter. A hotel employee screamed "we're out" at my daughter while she was simply attempting to get some waffle mix, and while the staff member was actually holding the mix in her hands. This behavior was hostile, unwarranted, and completely inappropriate for a hospitality setting. Beyond the staff issue: • Worn and Dated: The hotel looks significantly worn and dated. It is in need of updates to meet current standards. • Lack of Hospitality: The overall demeanor of the staff was not great, entirely lacking the basic warmth and professionalism expected in a hospitality environment. • Unpleasant Odor: The area immediately outside the property had a strong odor of marijuana. In summary, the combination of terrible staff attitude, poor property condition, and general lack of a hospitable environment means I will never stay at this property again. I strongly advise future travelers to look elsewhere.

This review is for Expedia and the hotel We paid for a room for a visiting friend that we named on the reservation. When he arrived, the hotel was unable to locate the reservation from the Expedia itinerary number. There was no hotel booking number on my confirmation or receipt, only the itinerary number from Expedia. The Hotel desk clerk called Expedia customer service and no one could understand the foreign agent. She put the Expedia rep on speaker so maybe we could all try to understand what she was saying. Not only could the Expedia rep hardly speak English, she could hardly understand English and argued that the person checking in was not the person that made the reservation and would not give the hotel confirmation number. It took multiple tries from three of us- the hotel clerk, my guest and myself on speaker on my friend's phone- to get her to understand the problem and provide the requested information to the hotel. What a hassle and terrible experience!! #1-Please be sure to always send the hotel booking number with the Expedia itinerary number. #2- Please hire people who can speak English for English-speaking customers and English-speaking hotels.

My room was very clean and well cared for. Staff was friendly and helpful. I only had two issues- the biggest was that breakfast had very few gluten free options available and there were no eggs left half-way through breakfast. My other issue is not a local issue at all. I was in an accessible room and the grab bars in the shower were shiny and slippery while bathing. This was scary for me because I have balance issues. But overall this property is great and well cared for. I felt very safe there.

Staff property was excellent. The two things I would say about everything else was 1. The level of cleanliness in the bathroom and 2. The quantity of food at breakfast. There seem to be a lot of people there and maybe the food staff just hadn’t prepared for the crowd of people. Besides that everything was great.

First time staying here - it was a nice hotel… the front desk staff was very nice, the entire property was clean and very good shape. Also the breakfast was so clean and freshly made food which was grest because I ate close to the time of them closing so i was very impressed with that
