I booked this hotel as it was one of the only hotels in Zagreb with a pool (and pretty much the only one with an outdoor pool) for an anniversary treat on the last night of our holiday. The hotel is outside of the centre but I was willing to be further out with the idea that we’d spend a few hours by the pool. Unfortunately on check in we were told that the pool and rooftop bar were closed - firstly being told that they don’t open usually until June and when I mentioned that it says May in the information they gave me at check in and on the website, they said it was refurbishment. It was such a disappointment and such a shame as it meant we had to change our plans and didn’t get to relax in the sun. This should be communicated to guests so they can make an informed decision as id probably have stayed in the centre if I knew there was no pool. Aside from this, our room was lovely - we had a room on the 18th floor with a bath. It was spotlessly clean and the views were fab. The bed was very comfortable. I’d probably not stay that far from the city again if there was no access to the pool but with a pool, the hotel would be worth it.

The staff were all excellent, love the property, lounge areas, bar, restaurant roof top pool. Food and drinks in the hotel were great and reasonably priced. Only complaint is, they allow any random person to walk in off the street and use an elevator that does not require a room key, to pool and sun deck area, which is already small, with very few, uncomfortable "loungers", so that was pretty frustrating.

We booked the hotel for a family of 4. Final day of vacation before flight back home to the UK. We selected the hotel due to the nice, modern, funky suite and for the amazing roof top pool and bar. The room was amazing and exceeded expectations. The kids loved the bath and swing overlooking the city. Tragically the rooftop pool had been closed due to a private event meaning that the main requirement for our hotel in Zagreb was taken away from us without prior notice or compensation. The kids were very disappointed of course and it soured our stay in Zagreb. The service at the hotel was good and the staff were friendly and understanding about our disappointment. A complimentary breakfast was offered but we were leaving early for the flight so not relevant and missed the point that the pool was a requirement for our stay in Zagreb. If the pool was available as advertised, probably our stay would have be 5*

Da vi ankom fik vi som det første at vide at vi ikke kunne bruge poolen i dag og om aftenen da der var nogle der holdt en fest ved poolområdet og poolen var netop en af grundene til at vi havde valgt dette hotel. Den første nat forløb fint men den 2 nat fik vi ingen søvn da der var nogen der havde smidt en ødelagt telefon som spillede høj musik i en skraldespand lige udenfor værelset ved elevatoren på vores etage midt om natten. Så jeg blev holdt vågen fra 2/3 tiden om natten. Der var også råben på gangen fra andre gæster der var utilfredse med larmen og hotellets personale gjorde intet for at stoppe larmen så den fortsatte hele natten og morgenen og vi forlod hotellet kl 6 næste morgen meget trætte og uden en god nats søvn og uden den morgenmad og nattesøvn vi havde betalt for. Jeg forstår godt at det er et hotel for unge men hotellets personale burde have håndteret det bedre vi havde trodsalt betalt for at sove der og få vores søvn om natten og for at kunne bruge poolen.

Sehr moderne Unterkunft im industriellen Chic. Der Pool ist zwar super, aber mam hat eigentlich keine Möglichkeit, bis auf 6 Sonnenstühle. Sonst kann man sich nur auf höhere Stühle am Tisch setzen. Das Zimmer wahr ziemlich cool mit der Hängestuhl. Frühstück ist auch wirklich super mit einer großen Auswahl. Ein Uber ins Zentrum kostet zwischen 4-5 Euro - wirklich sehr günstig. So sind wir am Abend in die Stadt gefahren und haben dort gut gegessen.

This place is a trip! What I can only describe as a disco era theme that is fun and funky and full of character. Great rooftop pool and view - perfect for enjoying a drink at sunset. Room was spacious but dark. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Great location that was out of the tourist area yet still close enough if you don’t mind a long walk. Excellent dining nearby.

There are very few sun chairs and little space to enjoy the sun on the terrace. The decoration choice on the roof makes it very inconvenient and uncomfortable to sit by the poolside. Drinks on the terrace bar were quite expensive. The room was expected to have a double bed instead of 2 separate beds. The staff was kind, and the food at the lobby bar was pricey but really nice.

The shower sprayed water all over the bathroom floor and leaked into our on a daily basis. We had to step on wet towels every time we used the bathroom. The room is noisy and we could hear housekeeping slamming doors around us and the room is narrow and didn’t have a comfortable set up.

We couldn’t fault our stay at Zonar Zagreb, we were able to use the pool after our early flight before our room was ready and the staff were so helpful taking our bags for the day. The room itself was very clean and fresh, and super modern. The only downside is it is slightly far out of town, however taxis into town were only around €3/4 so not too big off an issue.

Room service staff does not change the linen at all unless you ask for.The way they made the bed I would’ve make it better. Hotel draws younger clientele. When they come back from outing they’re loud in the hallway in the middle of the night. No respect to other guest.

Het is een mooi modern hotel. Wel heel veel spiegels overal. Zelfs in de douchecabine. Kan voor sommige mensen confronterend zijn. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hadden ontbijt en diner inclusief. Het eten was heel goed.We hadden de suite en die was erg groot. Er was een badkuip in de kamer voor het raam zodat je over Zagreb uit kon kijken vanaf de 18e verdieping. Zeker aan te bevelen.

My family and I stayed only one night and would have loved to stay longer. We got a room with the swing and the tub in the main area. Two tvs, one was in the ceiling! We were on the 16th floor and my girls love it. Beds were comfy. I loved that there was two bathrooms(one without a shower). Gym was decent and 24/7. Rooftop pool was def a fun vibe. Lots of eating in the area. Breakfasts was fantastic! Only complaint is paying for parking. Would def stay there again!

The room at hotel was clean and comfortable, but way too small (no space for luggage). It was also very impractical. For example, there was no towel rack, it was extremely hot and stuffy and you could not open a window or cool it down in any way. I also found their organization poor. I booked a room 6 months in advance and requested a single queen or king bed, since this was a couple’s trip, and my assigned room had 2 single beds.

Slightly out of the way for tourist purposes, 25-30 min walk to the central square main attractions of zagreb, but in a perfectly ok area, on a street with many cafes and restaurants. The swimming pool is a bit small but as big could be expected of a rooftop pool. Staff all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend. Only cons: lighting controls in the room were a bit hard to figure out, and some room design aspects, while beautiful to look at, are a bit risky and could present trip/fall hazards for kids or older folks.

Very lovely hotel. As of summer 24, this seams the to be a very fancy place. Loved the rooftop pool - lots of young adults displaying their lifes. Nice breakfast and very helpful and serviceminded staff. Dining is expensive compared to the surrounding Zagreb. 2 km from down town Zagreb. The walk is fine but else a taxi is needed.
