Excellent accommodation. Spacious clean and modern room Accommodation is above noisy pub but on third floor we did not hear much of that - but we did hear the rooftop bar above us! Sharing the one elevator with streams of incoming and outgoing rooftop bar patrons was a nuisance

This is a great old hotel, which has been well maintained and renovated. Renovations include an elevator. The rooms are spacious and clean, and it's quiet most of the time. The exception is weekends: there are live bands playing downstairs, and it's really noisy. The bass and drums were vibrating through the floor and bed frame (my room was on the second floor). It didn't stop until midnight,, and I was jet lagged from my flight. The area around the hotel has lots of excellent eateries, cafes, and shopping, including a walking mall across the street.

A great night away to explore Freo for the day/ night. Excellent location within walking distance from main drag and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely large room. Beautifully renovated old building. The rooftop bar was great! Stunning views and sunset with a cute bar. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location to walk to shops and dining. Pub, restaurant, and rooftop bar on-site. Our room had a huge balcony. If you like to go to bed quite early it may be a little noisy from street noise and the pub down stairs.

The property is comfortable and conveniently located in the heart of the town. There are many fantastic options for dining, coffee, ice-cream and shopping on the doorstep of the property. Staff are very helpful. Unfortunately the lift was broken but the staff were only too willing to help with transporting our luggage the three floors to our room. The public areas of the hotel are a little tired but more than functional The rooms are excellent.

The room was so nicely appointed and comfortable in every sense. Plus having the foyer outside the rooms mean no immediate neighbors. The only issue is the parking is a bit hard but got there in the end.

Lovely interesting hotel. Clean comfortable and a lovely bathroom/ bathtub. Lots of dining options. We were there on a Saturday though and it is quite noisy and busy but it did quieten down later in the evening. Close to the cruise terminal.

The hotel itself & the room were beautiful. The hotel bar downstairs had a live band playing & was very loud until after 11.15pm. The hotel provided ear plugs but it would be nicer for staying guests if the band finished earlier & hotel guests were prioritised over the bar. We chose not to stay another night which was a shame.

Great room. I got lucky with the corner room and it was very spacious. Loved the bath tub and shower. Great welcome from Lauren. The server Belgium that served me dinner and the British server for high tea were fantastic. The room was relatively well muted from all the noises on the street. Some sounds can't be silenced.....

Enjoyed our overnight stay at the National. Good location, lovely staff, thought it was going to be a bit noisy with the hoons in their cars but was ok on a Sunday night. Room was large, bed ok, pillows ok, they need to put a handtowel hook near the basin if you want to improve the bathroom :) Thank you

The room was spacious and nicely furnished, big bathroom, all in good condition. Very friendly and helpful staff all round. Unfortunately we were on the third floor just below the rooftop bar and 2 of our 3 nights were severely disturbed by very loud dance music which went on until 1.30am. Earplugs did not help at all. What could have been a great stay was spoilt.

This destination was inspired by an episode of Travel Guides Australia and it certainly didn't disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed the Deluxe Queen Room with a balcony. The rooftop bar was awesome and the meals were very good. Location is in walking distance of most activities. The only issue we had was that our stay coincided with a music festival that kept us awake for a good chunk of our first night. Presumably this was a one off. Lauren in reception went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Lovely comfortable and clean room. The music from below and surrounding venues made it a bit hard to sleep but the earplugs provided were helpful ish. Great location and the restaurant was great.
