2nd time staying here, clean, comfortable, convenient location. Gym is great.

The indoor pool is nice. The bar and morning breakfast staff are very attentive. A few minor things with the room. (Low water pressure in the shower and a slow drain in the sink. Some of the fixtures were a little rundown) Notified the management and hopefully it will be fixed for the next person. We only stayed once night.

I loved the indoor pool. It was hard finding a hotel in that area that had one, they did, and it was so nice! The staff were all very sweet and helpful, and the property all around was very clean and nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again. If you go through Expedia, just be aware that check-in isn’t until 3pm or later. We didn’t know that, got there at 8am, and couldn’t check in. Thankfully, they got a room cleaned up when the housekeepers got there and we got to check in around 11-12 ish.

We go for the heated pool as a stay cation since it’s winter and we love it

Good location, right in front of a TARGET and 5 minute drive to the mall. So if you need to do some shopping it is a great location. The best thing was the complimentary washer-dryer area.

We planned a mini family reunion based on the hotel's heated indoor pool. The pool heater was broken, and the water was freezing. We wanted this to be a great fun-filled memory for our children. We asked the hotel to compensate us for the inconvenience of not letting us know before arrival so we could make alternate plans. The staff lied and said they informed us of a check-in, and this is absolutely not the truth. They would have had our business for many stays to come, But after this event, we will not be coming back since they do not understand how to treat customers and be honest!

Needed a room at the last minute for me and my family and this was a nice hotel. Deidra was great at check-in. Nice and clean and the the room with the extra space was perfect! Lots a space for a family of 5 where we didn’t feel like we were sitting on top of each other. My only complaint is the washer is full of mildew and mold. These washers need to be replaced immediately! I do not recommend using them. They smell terrible and if you look inside you can see the mildew. Also, the gym has 3 treadmills but only 1 was working, which was inconvenient when I had to wait to workout. The staff was friendly and the all you can eat breakfast was great. If you don’t plan to wash clothes or use the gym this hotel is great!

The hotel is nice and the contemporary. Large rooms with nice bathrooms. Friendly staff and great parking. Great for families and nice facilities. Free Laundry room! One thing: Food is Not free, No Water unless you pay and it’s $3.5 at front desk or vending machine. Not pet friendly unless service dog with credentials.

I think the clerk checking us in was having a bad day. She seemed preoccupied and could have been more friendly. All other staff encountered were friendly. The room could have been cleaner. We found hair in the shower, toilet seat and it appeared food was smeared next to the bed board next to the light. Carpets need shampooing my white socks are now brown. Hotel was quiet and seemed extremely busy with people checking in and out.

The place was impeccable. I don’t think I’ve ever been in such a clean place. Nothing dusty nothing out of place super clean bathrooms and I did not see the staff much because I got in late but whom I did see it was awesome. This is a no-brainer.

Carpets had big stains. Bathroom smelled of mildew. Shower were not clean. Staff was friendly but did nothing to remedy the situation. Ignored or forgot our request for towels. Definitely won't stay again!

It had men hair after shaving in the sink, the floors were dirty you can tell it haven’t be vacuumed. One of the towels had dirty spots.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn based on the rave reviews about cleanliness. While the building was quite nice, there were hairs all in the bedding and I woke up the second morning to a roach in the bathroom.

This was by far the most comfortable room I have ever stayed in. The facility was extremely clean, the room was immaculate and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The only thing I would change would be the pressure in the shower. It wasn’t very strong, still got clean though. lol The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is nice and everything looks clean. I did not like the water pressure from the shower head. Almost impossible to take a decent shower. Everything else was good.

No towels in room when we arrived. Only 1 outlet worked in our room, and one of the outlets burned up a charging cord. Music playing SO loud Friday night, apparently from their banquet room... staff couldn't do anything about it but it was loud in our room and in the hallways. Front desk staff was very friendly and did their best to be helpful. But, wouldn't stay here again.

Very quiet and clean. Comfortable bed. The only negative is that the window blinds are automated. They wouldn’t go all the way up or down. Had to put pillows on the window sill to keep lights from parking lot from shining in all night.

The hotel was clean and lovely. Close to restaurants. However, that water pressure was barely a trickle. It was like hanging a half filled water bottle with seven small holes poked in it to take a shower. I swear I'm not exaggerating. The water pressure is my only complaint.

Someone at the front desk made a mistake and checked me out 3 days early and my card was charged an additional $900 for the front desks mistake when it was all prepaid on my bosses card. Very inconvenient.

This hotel is spectacular with the greatest staff!

Overall just a ok hotel. They did not replace our towels despite housekeeping coming in, or clean the room. Front desk seemed bothered when we checked in and out. Restaurant staff were super friendly and welcoming. We have stayed here before multiple times and really enjoyed those stays. I am hoping it was a one time thing.

Front desk staff is so amazing. I've stayed here twice during my travels back and forth to Texas to Florida. The cleanliness of the hotel and the comfort is like no other. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The service was amazing. It was a very busy weekend in Tallahassee and the hotel. They were just amazing and very attentive. Will go back for sure.

Greetings, Upon my arrival at check in, I was scolded and reprimanded in front of my family and other guests by a Miss Janet for not having my card on file go through. A Miss Lanika, the other staff member informed Miss Janet that I should've received a call regarding the concern with the card. I informed Miss Janet that had I been notified when I called in early that day to report a late check-in, I would have easily provided another card since I was never notified of the original charge not going through. She again reprimanded me and informed me that " it aint happening again". It was already 10:30 in the evening when I checked in, however felt embarrassed,insulted, and appalled that she was unaware of the tone in which she used to speak to me. Neither my family or I were addressed with a " Good Evening ", only an insult and reprimand upon our initial chevk in. I informed her that I did not appreciate the tone which she spoke to me because it made me feel like I was being reprimanded for something I had no knowledge of, at which point she became verbally combative with me. I am a Holiday Inn rewards member and have stayed at numerous hotels by this amazing company both nationally and internationally, primarily because of the welcoming and home like setting provided to my family. Miss Janet has left not only a bad impression of the level of customer service provided by Holiday Inn, but displayed the image that late checkin guests are an inconvenience to them.

This hotel was very clean and quiet. The young woman at the front desk was wonderful—she truly made our stay special. The location was great, and we stayed during graduation weekend when everything was busy, yet the service remained excellent. I also loved the bar inside the hotel; the waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive.

Location and convenience

Great location, close to FSU. We were warmly greeted and check in was easy. Our room was spacious and clean and quiet. Breakfast not included, but coffee is available in the lobby. Room had Kuerig, fridge and microwave. Panera was an easy minute walk from the hotel. Target across the street and mall down the road. less than 10 minutes to FSU. We will stay here again.

Nice hotel with easy access to FSU (short drive)

I stayed 2 nights during the “once in a lifetime” snow storm and the entire city of Tallahassee shut down for several days. The hotel was clean, warm, and the bed was super comfortable. Free parking was a bonus and was well lit. Quick 15 minute drive to FSU. Plenty of places to eat with a Panera Bread right next door. There is a Target right across the street too. The staff that checked me in was friendly. The woman that checked me out was not nearly as nice and seemed irritated that I booked through a “3rd Party. I would suggest to bring a sound machine or headphones if you will be in a room on the back side, as there were bulldozers at the property next door working and beeping at the crack of dawn. Obviously nothing the hotel can do about that.

Last time I stayed at a Holiday Inn breakfast was free, This one had a buffet style breakfast for $15. I didn’t eat there so I can’t say how good the food was.

Jessica during my check in was amazing. Hotel is at a great location for family and friends in Tally. I enjoyed my stay. Only thing was the bathroom sink was clogged. The elevators and hallways was clean. Our room smelled and looked clean. My partner did the “room check” that she check things others don’t and this hotel passed the check. The breakfast was awesome! The OJ wasn’t that good but nothings perfect. I will be returning next time I’m in the visiting Tallahassee.

They need to make it very clear in the booking process that their breakfast is $15.99. The breakfast is no different than any other hotel equivalent to them. Elsewhere there is no charge for the breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property -- the made to order breakfast was a surprise and the staff we met were all very nice and accommodating. The only downside we had was that our reservation included the breakfast for all days and they closed that area down for two days. Originally, there was no offer of a refund but after the second day they offered to refund a single day. I am working with Expedia on that. I feel like closures for holidays should be known and those add-ons not available for those days. That was the only negative of our stay.
