We tried to tell a housekeeper there was hair (someone else’s) and she didn’t speak English. Other than that, we liked the room. Bed was fairly comfortable. Liked having a laundry since we were on the road about a week prior. Work out room was attached so you could watch your laundry.

We stayed 5 days with our family at Staybridge for our grandson's wedding in Charleston. It was great! We enjoyed the firepit at night, the swimming pool, all the. breakfasts. We were there for 1 evening reception and it was very nice.Rooms were large and very clean. Very convenient to Charleston without the hustle/bustle and hassle of downtown parking. One of the first hotels when you cross the big bridge after leaving Charleston going to Mount Pleasant.

Perfect location, drive to downtown within 10 minutes, 10 minutes to Sullivan Island Beach. Any kind of restaurant/cafe you could want within a few minutes drive. 4 grocery stores nearby. Room and grounds were spotless. Free laundry facilities and a social mixer MTW with FREE beer, wine and hot snacks. It was really a perfect stay. (If you're sensitive to road noise, request the parking lot side.. Early morning truck noise was a bit loud.)

Everything about our stay was great. Nice courtesy was the managers cocktail hour during the week. Just need to have more food choices. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend staying here. Perfect location to downtown Charleston without the Charleston prices

We had a wonderful 3nights at the hotel, very, very clean place to stay. The staff were friendly, from checking to checking out was very easy. The room was big and very comfortable, even the pillows were very comfortable. Love the cocktail hour, great drinks and food. Breakfast was always on point, the staff stayed around making sure everyone was being taken care of. I have stayed at resorts, yes the hotels are always top of the line, but you never get the free breakfast or the happy hour. Thanks Staybridge for making our stay comfortable.

The property was ok. Seemed a lil dated. The rooms had a mildewed smell. Hotel staff was friendly. I’m not sure but I had several bite marks on my feet when I left the hotel. Not sure what that was about. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The toilet was filthy and the plates had to be cleaned because there was still food stuck in them. The walls are so dirty. Towels were dingy and gray.

The bathroom was dirty and they had left a bar of soap from the last guest. Gross. There were cookie crumbs on the coach and when we moved the cushion to shake them off there chips under the cushions. Nothing felt particularly clean. The service, breakfast, accommodations were okay, nothing special really.

The property was quite nice, spacious room, nice bath with walk in shower, kitchen and sitting area. However, during our 3 night stay, we did not see housekeeping, no trash pickup, no fresh towels. Also, on our last morning the kitchen counter was over run by ants. We reported this to the front desk, after cleaning them up as best we could. Initially there were offers of compensation but none actually materialized, as we checked out. We were told housekeeping was not offered on weekends. These are my reasons for criticism in cleanliness. The room appeared clean upon arrival. There was also a nice laundry room with free washers and dryers, which I used and appreciated.

Place had bedbugs and GM tried to blame me as I had traveled by plane from out of state. Found 2 of them in the bed! (Where there's one, there's many more). Immediately left the property as they had no other rooms that night. I had to book another hotel at 0100. GM said no refund. The next day, was offered another room but I decided to decline. Can't take a chance with bedbugs. They said room was inspected by pest control manager and no infestation was found. Clearly they have a problem & probably rented the room right away. I feel badly for the people that went to room 310 after me.

Very quiet and nicely appointed room and property. I traveled with a total of 7 people and found the den area very useful as a living room to meet and hangout. I do wish the water pressure was harder, but it was hot and the dove products smelled amazing. We had a 1 bedroom suite, and did not hear any neighbors at all. The temperature was perfect. Breakfast was a standard buffet, hot foods and fresh waffles were options as well as cold cereal. I stayed here for a cruise. It was 20 minutes from port, UBER was $20 with the tip.

The furniture in this room is horrible. Also on Expedia it makes you think that you’re getting a balcony instead I was right next to the freeway.. The buffet was good. The exercise room was OK. It didn’t have a pool and an outdoor grill but it was right next to the freeway. My back still hurts from the furniture and for $330 a night you think you would get something better.. The location was good though it was close to getting to Charleston and the local restaurants. The furniture was literally bolted to the wall on a decline so you kind of fell into it, and the floorboard was raised by the door which almost tripped over.

Absolutely had the best time! I can remember the front desk lady’s name. But she was very petite and always wore a mask. She was exceptional!!!! Made us feel welcome every time we walked in and out. Answered all my daughter’s questions about Outerbanks fun areas, and always had a smile on her face! The only thing we didn’t like was the pull out bed 😳 I think my body felt every single spring on that thing.

The rooms were ok. The service was terrible. During our three day stay, there was no room service. We asked after the first day and they said they forgot. The second day we again reminded and they said they will clean but again same response. They did not clean on Friday or Saturday. They said to just collect the towels from front desk and said they forgot to clean. I usually stay at Marriott hotels and never seen this kind of service. Will never go back.

Superb service. First time to Charleston (and the South) and Emily literally outlined our itinerary for us and dropped off a fully detailed packet under our room door, all ready for the next day. It made such a difference to our first day of sightseeing. Breakfast was delicious and high quality and the receptions with free hot food and wine/beer… good thing to come to after long days. Loved all of it. Thank you!

We arrived at the hotel and they had over booked and our room wasn't available even though we booked 1.5 months in advance. We could either take a different room or go to a different hotel. We chose to stay there and switch to our original room the next day. The GM only gave us a $20 credit which was basically just a $10 credit because the room we had to take was valued at $10 less than what we had originally booked. We tried to get more of a credit back for the hassle but the GM said there was nothing she could do due to booking through hotels com. Hotels.com contacted the hotel but the GM still wouldn't do any more. So the GM basically lied to us about not being able to do anything more. She just wasn't willing to make things right. The whole situation was the hotels fault and they weren't willing to make things right.

So we get to the hotel around 1 am to a locked sliding glass door. We rang the bell, knocked, called the front desk on our phones, etc and no one opened the door for 15 minutes. We were about to leave when the front desk folks show up. They were walking the property for a security check according to them. The desk was uncovered. We were ready to get to our room. Their response to this was that there was a sign on the check in desk. This sign being totally too far away to read it. That was their reply. Not an apology. A scolding for us not being patient and reading the small sign they left. Ridiculous

The suite of rooms was great for our needs. The hotel was close to Charleston. It was easy to get there from the hotel. Breakfast was good. As a tea drinker, the water was never hot enough. We would have appreciated less throw away at breakfast. One morning, there were real plates and silverware. That would be great every day. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staybridge is a nice hotel and very clean. We spent the day at Isle of Palms beach and stayed here for the night to explore Charleston the next day and it’s a perfect distance between the two. About 20 min from IOP beach and 10 min to downtown Charleston. Breakfast was also good. Overall, a nice hotel to stay at.

The convenience of its location was great. It’s near Patriots Point, and the start of tours to Fort Sumter as well as harbour tours. It was quick getting to local restaurants and into downtown Charleston.

We loved everything about our stay here!! Very clean, even had a kitchenette in the room. The staff was always friendly and welcoming! They offer a great breakfast in the morning with great coffee!!The location was perfect because we did several things in Mt Pleasant and went downtown (approx 10min drive) several times too. Plus we had a beach day at Isle of Palms which was only 25min away. Definitely recommend this hotel!! 5 stars!!!

Easy less expensive option when visiting historic downtime Charleston. A quick drive or Uber away. Downside, you are not walking distance from downtown It’s our second time staying there. Easy, clean, efficient, pool and breakfast included are an added bonus. Would recommend

Family of 5 spent a week at hotel. The furnishings were decent, loved the included breakfast everyday. There was waffles, toast, cereal, some version of eggs and a meat each day, fruit, yogurt, coffee, amazing tea, pop, juice. Free laundry for guests although some guests would not immediately remove the clothing. One night I was worried about possible noise as there was a party on the top floor in the event space but we had no problems and didn’t hear a thing. Employees were so friendly especially the breakfast and cleaning staff. Happy hour included free wine and beer M,Tues, Wed with a small snack. Mac and cheese one night with chicken and toppings. My only complaint was the rough towels. No softness left in them. This hotel was so close to Charleston with a much better price point. We would stay again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast hours, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. allowed more flexibility than most accommodations offer. The food was good. A hospitality time with free wine from 5:30 to 7:00 was also nice. The in-room temperature control was very effective.

The breakfasts were really good! Only drawback was staff using plastic disposable silverware and paper plates. One day staff set out washable plate and silverware - that was very much appreciated! Wish we would have had that option every morning.
