I was traveling for business and decided to stay in a B&B - great decision. Very nice, clean, and well managed. My room was a very basic queen bed with beautiful original hardwood floors. I would recommend taking breakfast out on the deck overlooking the pond. French toast, eggs, bacon, orange juice, and tea - perfect! After staying in Hilton brand hotels on a regular basis, this may change my whole way of thinking.

The place had an old-fashioned peaceful feeling; no TVs in rooms and heat came from radiators. Bed was comfortable and the decor unique, with many pictures of folks who got married there. Expansive lawn, pond and big old trees, large windows from dining area to admire them, and a sizable deck.

Wonderful location in a house that’s original structure was built in 1771, utilize as destination for weddings. The host was wonderful and the food was excellent at breakfast. Cannot say enough good about this location.

Such a fun place to stay in a lovely location. The house is so interesting with lots of nooks to hang out in. My family loved playing a game in the tv room and walking around the grounds. The breakfast was the best part of my kids’ vacation!

Fun to be in a historic home and enjoy its public indoor and outdoor spaces. Very pleasant breakfast room and deck with good hot breakfast made to order. There was a portable AC unit in the room, which helped on a hot day. Host gave us helpful info about the local area. Very close to Marlboro Music Festival.

Very peace full setting. Facility is typical New England Inn with a large dining room, family room. Large outdoor deck. Breakfast was amazing. Excellent customer service. Bed in room was very comfortable. About and 8-10 minute drive to town.

The house sits off a main road, and far enough away so that traffic noise is not an issue. The room was lovely and although the room did not have a TV, microwave or refrigerator, they are available in the common areas. The host was gracious and very accommodating. It was lovely, quiet, and beautiful and comes highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I had a fabulous stay here this past weekend! Stayed here for the night so we could try a restaurant in Brattleboro and it was the perfect 15 min drive. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the pond. The staff was incredibly friendly and ready upon our arrival. The lounge/ living room was cozy for watching a movie at night and the breakfast was absolutely to die for!

Beautiful Vermont Inn with exceptional breakfast: changes everyday - we had frittata, fresh fruit, steel cut oats fried with maple syrup and pecans and always muffins or other baked goods. Our hosts were friendly, accommodating and know the area well. We had room 3- spacious and comfortable. When it snows there is a 5 mile snowshoe,cross country trail on the property for guests only. We were there to attend a show at the Vermont Jazz Center in Brattleboro-about 20 min away. Also hiked Hogback mountain and went to the award winning woodworkers: Applewoods. Excellent restaunts nearby and in in Brattleboro- ate at Indian Marsala House- flavorful. Wish we could have stayed longer to go to the Hogback Brewery, check out music and art in Brattleboro and hike more. Thanks !

I thought the house had a lot of character and it was nicely decorated, not too much. Comfy bed, very good service by staff! Gorgeous views! Great food! Nice hot shower and plenty of towels! Good check in policy although what we were told by Expedia was inaccurate. They are far more flexible. Not the inn keeper’s fault. I did see ants in the dining room and some cobwebs here and there. The bushes could use some pruning, especially near the porch with the view of the pond. They are overgrown.

We stayed at the Inn one night on our way to upstate NY from Maine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, our innkeepers, the history of the house, the beaver pond and wildlife around the house. Our bed/linens were good/comfy and the room/bathroom (good shower) very clean. Victoria’s breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. The house is filled with old books and artwork/photos. The barn (where parties and wedding receptions are held) equally wonderful. Four rating on cleanliness because, as one might expect in a house of this age and size, the common sitting areas inside and out were not pristine. But don’t let that stop you from staying—we would definitely make a point to visit again. Thanks Victoria and Brian for your hospitality.

We loved our stay here - our host Brian was very welcoming and informative upon our arrival. He invited us to a film event in the barn that was just phenomenal. The property was beautiful, inside and out, very clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast was phenomenal. Left here feeling energized and fulfilled.

This was our 2nd stay here. Friendly hosts. Our room was small, but quaint & cozy for just the two of us. Room and the premises were very clean. Mattress was comfortable, but frame would creak with every move. Excellent breakfasts! Would suggest placing plastic or glass cups in rooms for water. Highly recommend!

The property is historically old and seems to be very energy inefficient. We had a blanket literally tacked to a window to stop the cold from coming in. There were several portably electric heaters on the property. They were on in the dining and shared TV area. We had 2 plugs that didn’t work in our room. Our stay was fine but the property needs some attention.

We loved this off-the-beaten-path, classic bed & breakfast a few minutes from Brattleboro on the old stagecoach route. Our view over the pond was stunning, and the breakfast was fresh and ample. The room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to bring a small travel light if you would like to read a book in bed, as our room had soft, mellow lighting.

Great place to stay. Fabulous breakfast! Owners are very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect--only 10 minutes from the highway. Our rom was a bit small, but larger rooms are available. We would definitely stay there again.

I had an excellent experience at this property! The place itself is absolutely beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I checked in late, but they thoughtfully prepared a handwritten letter with all the information I needed, which was such a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to my day. I also accidentally left my coat in the room, and the staff kindly mailed it back to me promptly. Their attention to detail and genuine care made my stay exceptional. Highly recommend!

amazing atmosphere that was only outdone by the hospitality. Everyone there was incredibly kind and made sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Amazing place to get away, relax, and have the option to interact with other people in the shared space. Will come back whenever I can.

Great New England hospitality!....delicious breakfast and comfortable bedding. The location was great - between the small town of Wilmington, Mt. Snow and Brattleboro. Victoria and Brian could not have been more accommodating and friendly! Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Long weekend away spent here. Delicious breakfast each morning - always two options. Yogurt, fruit, granola and warm muffins from the oven to start. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Brian and Victoria were very gracious hosts - Brian even gave our car a jump start since our battery was dead on the morning we checked out.

This was a great experience. The property is just a short drive from downtown Brattleboro, but it's very quiet and feels like you're stepping back in time. The hosts/owners were very nice and walked us to our room while giving a brief history of the property. Breakfast was delicious and obviously made fresh that morning, along with a nice offering of fruit and muffins beforehand. We will definitely be going back!

Fun to be in a historic home and enjoy its public indoor and outdoor spaces. Very pleasant breakfast room and deck with good hot breakfast made to order. There was a portable AC unit in the room, which helped on a hot day. Host gave us helpful info about the local area. Very close to Marlboro Music Festival.

My boyfriend and I had a fabulous stay here this past weekend! Stayed here for the night so we could try a restaurant in Brattleboro and it was the perfect 15 min drive. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the pond. The staff was incredibly friendly and ready upon our arrival. The lounge/ living room was cozy for watching a movie at night and the breakfast was absolutely to die for!

Nice bed and breakfast house, the rooms are clean, large and comfortable. What stands out to me is Victoria's incredible cooking. I am a complete foodie, and her breakfasts was excellent! The house is from the 1700's so expect the charm and all that goes along with being in an old home. She told me little bit of the house and was interesting. went to ski with friends and stayed for one night. Overall, I recommended.

Beautiful Vermont Inn with exceptional breakfast: changes everyday - we had frittata, fresh fruit, steel cut oats fried with maple syrup and pecans and always muffins or other baked goods. Our hosts were friendly, accommodating and know the area well. We had room 3- spacious and comfortable. When it snows there is a 5 mile snowshoe,cross country trail on the property for guests only. We were there to attend a show at the Vermont Jazz Center in Brattleboro-about 20 min away. Also hiked Hogback mountain and went to the award winning woodworkers: Applewoods. Excellent restaunts nearby and in in Brattleboro- ate at Indian Marsala House- flavorful. Wish we could have stayed longer to go to the Hogback Brewery, check out music and art in Brattleboro and hike more. Thanks !
