Clean room but didn’t think people staying at the hotel should pay for parking

Hotel room was clean. Property seemed clean. Pool was freezing. Kids couldn’t swim. Heard other people in the elevators talking about how no one could swim because it was so cold. Bummer for my kids. Hotel was otherwise great.

My stay was okay. However I'll never stay there again again cause the indoor pool was freezing it was about 50°. The TV in the room was old & had no ability to stream from anything like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu or anything just 10-20 old cable channels. I called the front desk thinking i was doing somebody wrong. they informed me that they didn't have the updated version of tv's yet. I mean in 2024?? You still have tv's without this capability? I couldn't believe it. So that's why I won't stay there again. Other than that it was okay. Oh & when we got there their card reader wasn't working so the person at the front desk couldn't activate our room keys so she had to walk everyone up to their rooms individually which was crazy.. she was nice & friendly though.

staff great van shuttle driver amazing

Booked this specific hotel because of the airport shuttle and location. Date of stay, they didnt have a shuttle driver and the second shift front desk person was incredibly rude. But the 3rd shift guy was great!!

Lots of parking, but didn’t like that I found out they charge for each day of parking when I checked in. I also had to wait and hour and a half from when I should have been able to check in to actually check in. They still hadn’t cleaned the room. The facilities are nice and clean and staff was very pleasant.

Great service and the wait for the shuttle from MSP airport was not too bad.

Great location. Kids loved the pool and my wife enjoyed the outlet mall

The rooms were comfortable and clean The $15 for parking I didn’t care for The Breakfast left a lot to be desired (Just copy the Hampton, I believe that’s sister chain)

The shuttle driver to the airport was amazing! Hey bubbly personality and fun sense of humor was a great start to our morning!!

The room was spotless and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was not clean. Dishes dirty sink leaking. No hot water. Dirty will not be coming back. Left to new hotel.

This was a so-so property. Sadly it was dirty including the elevator, the halls and the common areas. several things in the room itself were broken including the ironing board, the garbage disposal, the lamp and the shower soap dispensers. Had to ask twice to have the disposal repaired. They had promised to come in every five days to clean but they didn't; I had to request the service. The bed was not that comfortable. I would probably not stay here again.

The bathroom sink was clogged and had stuff in it when we checked in. Maintenance cleared up the clog, but the bathroom smelled like sewage and made the whole room smell like sewage. Told the front desk and all they said was.. sorry. We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite and they offered to downsize us to a single room. We had to buy a plug in from the outlet mall to make the room smell a little better. It kinda worked. There is no parking designated for hotel guests, so you had to compete with Black Friday outlet mall shoppers.

The carpet in the room was horribly stained. There was dried blood on the wall in the bathroom. The window shades that ran from a wall switch. Were all broken, one shade was hanging off the window. Top of refrigerator was dusty. This is a dog friendly hotel, however there is really no proper ventilation. No way of opening a room window and it smelled really strong of dog. The tile around the pool is extremely slippery and my toddlers had a really hard time just walking slow around the pool area. That is quite a hazard. Parking pass was nice and the area around was very nice. Shopping center next store was easy to walk too. Convenient location (8 minutes) away from Mall of America.The hotel is beat up though. I wouldnt say run down, but getting there. A lot of maintenence issues.

Loved everything about this hotel! Super clean, spacious, modern and quiet!! The breakfast was decent too. Highly recommend!

Very clean property and the staff is excellent

Place was clean. You pay $10 to park though.

Room was very dirty- smelled of pee. Location was great, hopefully not all rooms were as bad as ours. Staff was nice, although manager promised credit for stay and then changed the amount to less.

I loved having a regular size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and real dishes! Felt like a little apartment instead of a hotel room.

We stayed for a fun weekend with our kids. The service was great, but the beds weren’t comfortable and I felt like I needed at least 3 pillows to be remotely comfortable. The bathroom door was hard to shut because it was a sliding door, therefore it never closed all the way. When it did actually close, it didn’t lock. The breakfast was very blah.

Clean property with inviting staff! Didnt care for the queen bed as we both woke up feeling cramps. Would stay again !

Hotel is nice and location is wonderful. Bed mattress is not comfortable

I liked the mini-kitchen with large fridge and microwave.

I like the little kitchenette area. The pillows do need replace and I did mentioned as such with I checked out. The bathroom door was a pocket door that was very nice but it needs a handle on it. The door was hard to slide open and shut with no handle. Also, the walls were pretty then. Overall the place was very clean and staff friendly. The breakfast was all pre package and it would be nice for the breakfast to be not so processed food.

Loud area with air traffic issues

Excellent property. The suite rooms are spacious and functional for an extended stay. Breakfast was amazing.

The staff were rude.

They charged extra for parking and tried to make us pay an additional $20. Front desk staff was rude

The staff is what I liked the most from my stay they were very welcoming

The lady at the front desk was rather rude to us telling us to come to the front desk to get towels instead of having them delivered to the room. She also denied us a late checkout. We called the next morning and received a late checkout by the gentleman who worked in the am.

Upon arrival they told us the key cards didn’t work and staff would need to take you to and from your room, pool, and gym… this left us uncomfortable with our ability to come and go as we please. We didn’t often go to the pool or leave the

Great staff - Easy to check in and check out

I usually love Home 2 Suites hotels and go out of my way to stay at them while on family trips for the space and kitchen. I booked my room 2 weeks in advance, but the Home 2 Suites we normally stay at while in Bloomington (Mall of America area) was sold out. So I booked the Eagan location. Parking at this location is in a lot behind the hotel, and on a "negative feels like" temperature day, it was much further to walk than I would have preferred. When we arrived, we were told they had an "oversold" situation, so instead of the 2 queen room I booked, we would have to take 2 adjoining rooms with 1 queen each. Not ideal to have my tweens in their own room, but it was fine. The beds weren't as comfortable as I've come to expect at this chain. Maybe they're at the end of their lifespan. I heard the pool was freezing, so we didn't try it (not to mention we were just at a water park). One of the things I love about this chain is their breakfast. At some locations, you heat your prepackaged frozen sandwiches and omelets yourself in a microwave according to directions. At this location they are already ready. We grabbed the last 2 sandwiches and discovered they were cold in the middle. Like almost still frozen cold. Staff saw me trying to heat them up on the toaster conveyor belt and asked if they were still cold (and no microwave available). She apologized and I got a new one just brought out and it was the same. She heated it up in the back for me. Food safety issue though!

Always a great experience with phenomenal staff

When we arrived for check in, we were told by the receptionist that our room wasn't ready. She said it would be ready in 10 minutes. She continued to check in other guests. After 30 minutes. My wife asked her to check on our room. She ignored my wife and started to check in another guest. I went to the counter and asked if someone else could check us in. She told me I needed to be patient. That there were a lot late check outs. She spent another 20 minutes checking in the guest She ignored my wife for. So I went to counter and said the situation was ridiculous. We were traveling with 6 bags and were exhausted. She told me I was rude and intoxicated. Which of course I wasn't. Another woman at the counter heard the exchange and brought it to management's attention and she was horrified by her behavior.

Easy to get to, great shopping right next to it.

Great location especially for walking and with the outlet just across the parking lot made walking more enjoyable!

Close to the mall

Facility is in a good central location, close to almost everywhere you want to go. However some work need to be done on the bath of the room I stayed. Could be cleaner. Overall my stay was good and will patronize again.

Staff were excellent. Made you feel you were among friends. Hotel was very nice, clean, up to date. Parking was extra and lot was always full seemed like so was a little extra walk to get to the entrance. Food options around the area are limited.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this location and will continue to come back. A great location to get to everything while not being downtown. We also love that the outlet mall is right across the parking lot.

Very quiet here. Not much for restaurants within walking distance, but Jensen’s was amazing.

Property is nice and quiet, conveniently located close to Eagan Premium Outlet. The only issue I had is the Parking. I have to pay 10$ for the parking for an overnight stay.

Staff was very friendly, rooms were very comfortable, bed was great, breakfast was delicious with good variety, having the outlet mall across the street was fantastic

It was great all front desk staff were the best. Shuttle was so convenient. Complimentary self serve breakfast was the best by far. What an incredible array to choose from.
