When you look at reviews of this propert, it seems like booking this property is a roll of the dice. Some of the reviews appear positive, while other reviews make your skin crawl. This hotel appears nice upon first glance- an upgraded lobby with colorful chairs and lights greets you when you enter through the main door. The bedrooms, however lack the effort. While we didnt find any bugs at the hotel we did see; a gym that remains locked despite claiming to be open 24 hours, a broken outlet cover, a trash can over filled with beer bottles, and mold in our bathtub (the front desk associate managed to change our room the next morning, however the second room also had mold in the bathtub). There are loud noises throughout the night there and during the day when management walks through the hallways yelling on their cellphones regarding a room of guests down the hall smoking in their room. This is an okay hotel for short stays overall, especially when considering the price, but I would not recommend it to families with small kids or to those of us wanting a quiet night's rest.

I have bought this room because it was cheap and I had a pool. And I got partially what I paid for in cheap rundown hotel. It did look to you working on improving. Pool was closed and drained. The breakfast had very little to eat

Rooms are half renovated and not finished..dont get a king suite as they are not renovated at all and are very dirty and rusty. Very cheap and sketchy. Service is horrible at the front desk. And pool is closed because its full of junk.

We booked for the pool, but it was closed for maintenance. Our TV in the living area did not work, so couldn't watch TV when wife slept. Staff tried hard but there were some limitations of facility.

They need to update their info online because they do NOT have a pool or spa. Rooms need to be updated. Bread and plain cereal was the only breakfast options. I left behind my portable charger. ($150) Called them 2 hours after i left and they told me they didnt find anything in my room.... otherwise, the room was bigger than i expected. Especially for the price. I got the hot tub suite. Hot tub worked better than many other hotels' do. Room had a dining area, mini kitchen with counters and many cupboards. A full size fridge/freezer that works! Had its own sperate bedroom from the living room. Tvs in both rooms but barely worked. The bedroom even had its own sink and counter top! The room had a bit of a muggy smell to it. But overall the room was pretty decent. More than what i was expecting. Everything outside the room, ALL needs some more work and managment put into making customers feel more welcome amd comfortable.

Shirtly after check in there were 2 cops at the front desk. Pool in pictures wasn't operational (empty and full of furniture and tvs), and the hotel was under construction. They said they upgraded our room, but it was horrible. The loading dock and dumpsters were right outside the window in the room, and there was no threshold under our door. Was kept up late at night by loud people and woke up at 5:30 AM by loud banging from delivery trucks and garbage trucks. Would never stay here again!!!!

The staff was extremely rude. They gave attitude every single time I interacted with them. I asked to use a broom to sweep my floors and they refused to let me use one. There was cockroaches as well. They claim to have a good breakfast. It was crap. They had bread, they had frozen waffles, butter, Cream cheese, two cereals, milk, coffee out of a box, and an empty juice machine.

The property already had garbage stacked at every door when we arrived. Then walked into a dirty room, floors were flithy, walls dirty and fridge was nasty. Then to top it off woke up to roaches in the room. Will not be stay here again and do not recommend.

The beds are loud and uncomfortable. If you move at all in the night you wake everyone up due to the bed frames creaking. The continental breakfast is awful! Bread and frozen bagels are your options…. Staff are rude and the carpets are dirty everywhere. Bed was stained and mold in the shower. Hair on the bathroom floor. Broken door handle in bathroom. I don’t have super high expectations when it comes to hotels…. So to say this place is terrible means a lot coming from me.

the grounds had trash and cigarette butts all around the doors, other than the office door. the hotel laundry room, had lint all on the outside, covering the sidewalk and on the outside of the wall. the room was a nice sized room, king studio, but the fridge didn't work. had the receptionist bring me another fridge. then, found out microwave didn't work. could tell where it shorted out in the gfci plugin. did have 2 tv's, 1 for bedroom and 1 for living room area, but the channels were rediculous. there were not many channels to chose from at all. i had my laptop that i just watched netflix on.

This is 2 hotels in one. We stayed in a room with a jetted tub that while the room itself felt cold and less than romantic, the tub was surprisingly clean. There is laundry and 2 soda vending machines and snacks like small bags of chips and ramen noodles for sale at the desk. No pool and pretty sure most guests live at the property. We also had to pay a $100 deposit that required a room check in the morning to get back. The bed sits on a weird metal frame that makes a loud bang anytime your foot hits it. Overall, a quiet night.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We watched 7 people walk out due to the shape of their rooms. Waited in line for 45 minuets to check in, only for the front desk to tell us that they didn't have the rooms i had already paid for without even asking for my name or reservation. The man at the desk threw his cell phone down, and told my hisband and I to get a refund and leave. I tried to get a refund and when my booking aget called to verify they LIED and said we never came ro check in and that they held our rooms. Hotels wont do anything about it, because they lied. Trash.

It took a half hour in line to get to the registration desk and then 45 minutes to get registered. The room was dirty with French fries in the window sill, a sticky bathroom floor, mold in the shower and lights that didn’t work and no remote in one of the rooms. People were complaining about having people already in the rooms they were given and when we gave feedback about room conditions, staff acted as though they didn’t care because they hear that all of the time. We will never stay there again and encourage others to save themselves the frustration and find a different place to stay.

They are renovating i think so i gave them some grace on that. Tons of places in walking distance. Breakfast was very basic. Id definitely stay again we felt for the price it was great.

I booked and paid for a room online and arrived to check in within 30 minutes. When I arrived desk staff were incredibly rude, pointing to a sign on the counter and asking me "Can you READ?" Despite having listed availability on their booking partner's website, they had no rooms available and seemed in a rush to turn me away, quickly dismissing any questions I asked about a refund. I would have happily ignored the grimy common areas if there had only been a clean bed to sleep in for the night, but thanks to Norwood's abhorrent customer service conduct and booking policy, I didn't have to.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit, making sure I had everything I needed. The location was perfect — close to everything but still quiet and relaxing.

Horrible stay! Disgusting hotel. Stains all over sheets. Unsafe area. People appeared to be using drugs around the area and living there long term. Ick! It was horrible to stay. The sheets were stained horribly and I didn’t even feel clean showering there. I was so glad to leave.

Hotel was great, but took 45 min to check in and the staff wasnt very "friendly". Some issues with card keys needing to be reactivated alot. Room didnt match the pictures on the website. They are renovating i think so i gave them some grace on that. Tons of places in walking distance. Breakfast was very basic. Id definitely stay again we felt for the price it was great.

Yeah, no. Do not stay here. I felt completely unsafe on the property as the exterior doors were just wide open by my room (trust me, I tried to close them but they were broken and couldn’t shut fully). I had no towels in my room and when I went to the front desk the staff person couldn’t find any. She said she’d call someone and would have them to me in 15 minutes. I gave her my room number but after waiting an hour I finally took the long hike back to the front desk to ask about them again since there were no phones in the room to call the front desk. This is an incredibly run down property that I don’t think is deserving of the two and a half star rating it currently has. I was so uncomfortable with how unsafe I felt and how loud it was in my room that I ended up leaving around 11pm instead of staying the night. Total waste of money.

There are loud noises throughout the night there and during the day when management walks through the hallways yelling on their cellphones regarding a room of guests down the hall smoking in their room. This is an okay hotel for short stays overall, especially when considering the price, but I would not recommend it to families with small kids or to those of us wanting a quiet night's rest.

The hot tub was the specific reason we chose this hotel but upon arriving discovered it empty. The beds are old and lumpy, the pillows are small and filled with large chunks of foam, our room was missing all but one lightbulb, and even though I noted three people on our reservation, our room had one towel. The front desk told us to come back in the morning for additional towels. The “breakfast” was sloppy and skimpy. The choices were cereal or bread/bagel/muffin, with just cow’s milk and margarine. There was no fresh fruits but the apple juice was ok. The desk clerks were very nice, but overwhelmed by the volumes of complaints. It took 20 minutes to check in, 20 minutes to check out, and there was always a line of several people at the desk. My complaints to Hotels.com were unresolved, so this was probably our last stay with them.

The staff was extremely rude. They gave attitude every single time I interacted with them. I asked to use a broom to sweep my floors and they refused to let me use one. There was cockroaches as well. They claim to have a good breakfast. It was crap. They had bread, they had frozen waffles, butter, Cream cheese, two cereals, milk, coffee out of a box, and an empty juice machine.

tv remote did not work. The breakfast was no good. the coffee machine was empty (liquid mix type). just got hot water out of it. told the clerk and he came around and tried the decafe and said you will have to use this one. then he left. got a half a cup out of that and then it was empty and just water coming out. could not find the clerk again. very disappointed.

This hotel is very clean. The lady in the front desk goes above and beyond for us. She made sure our tv remote is working even if she's already clocked out for her shift. This is just a hotel you'd choose to check back in. One thing though, breakfast is very basic. I hope they'll add more.

They need to update their info online because they do NOT have a pool or spa. Rooms need to be updated. Bread and plain cereal was the only breakfast options. I left behind my portable charger. ($150) Called them 2 hours after i left and they told me they didnt find anything in my room.... otherwise, the room was bigger than i expected. Especially for the price. I got the hot tub suite. Hot tub worked better than many other hotels' do. Room had a dining area, mini kitchen with counters and many cupboards. A full size fridge/freezer that works! Had its own sperate bedroom from the living room. Tvs in both rooms but barely worked. The bedroom even had its own sink and counter top! The room had a bit of a muggy smell to it. But overall the room was pretty decent. More than what i was expecting. Everything outside the room, ALL needs some more work and managment put into making customers feel more welcome amd comfortable.

Room at blue way inn clean, staff friendly. Could use more staff at the front desk to help out with questions and checkout. It is a budget hotel meaning not much out for breakfast other than cereal and muffins. A little noisy with people coming in and out 24/7 near an airport but most hotel guests were respectful of my space. ADA room is nice, recently had surgery on my right foot and found the bathroom spacious and comfortable. Would prefer to stay at a smaller hotel in the future but for the price it's ok.

We had to ask for towels on check in, dirty bathroom and a door that looked like it was going to fall apart, bathroom tub plug was lying in tub but not in drain. vending machines didn’t take money, no ice buckets, No regular milk both days, no spoons 2 days in row. Customers were having to scream for service to check out, no TV remote, high speed chase by police and crash on premise. All staff did not speak English very well. High speed chase by police around motel premises. If I had been slower in backing out my stall I would have been broadsided. Truck trying to escape hit and damaged a brick wall by front entrance.

Although the manager/owners were very helpful and kind. I cannot recommend this hotel. It was a good location and cheap and that's why I chose it originally. When I got in the room I was shocked by the smell and the floors were very sticky i didn't feel comfortable putting my stuff down on any surface. I was very tired after driving 10 hours but couldn't go to sleep because the pillows smelled so strongly of mens cologne and there was a massive grease stain under the pillows and also covering the whole wooden headboard. Nothing was clean. I asked for new bedding which they did immediately, great fully but the new bedding wasn't much cleaner. Also the towels were all terribly stained and not absorbent at all so I think none of the bedding or towels is washed properly. I left as soon as I could. Bummed.

Breakfast choices include bread and a toaster. Coffee is horrible at best. The exit doors that are supposed to be locke?. Don't work. The general common areas are dirty. There are cigarette butts and beer bottle tops all over the grass. I was supposed to get a garden view. I was looking at a parking lot. The pubic hair on the toilet was pretty good confirmation that it hadn't been cleaned. The sheets barely fit the beds and there weren't blankets. Just a sheet and like a thicker sheet that I guess is supposed to be a comforter. HOWEVER ;they supplied a little bucket under the air conditioner so that the water wouldn't get the floor wet. I was a sucker for the price, ( you get what you pay for.) Next time we'll spend an extra $20 and go across the street.
