This is a cabin type situation which we chose because it was close to Micanopy (our real destination). The cabin was spacious and came with 2 queen beds, private bath and a kitchen with a full size refrigerator and a microwave. There was a restaurant connected to the campsite and cabins, but we did not eat there. The staff was friendly, the TV and A/C worked great and it was close to our destination

The cabin was ready upon arrival but had to call 3 numbers to confirm details and gain entry. They had just installed a new bed plus the mini-split ac were a great benefit. We did not know the restaurant on site was closed for our booking days so a big disappointment. Also, the wifi was sporadic to not available, cell service was one bar level only. The house keeper had left the toilet unflushed, and found insects in sink area. It's Florida and this cabin area is not used heavily in the off season so not too surprising. The quiet setting and moderately furnished cabins provided an interesting stay.

The cabins are wonderful and you immerse yourself in the Old Florida setting. I spent only 1 night but I would like to return for a whole week as a retreat to read and write. That is one of those places that stay with you and so inspiring. Since it was a Monday the restaurant was closed but can t wait to try it out next time I am back.

Quaint cabins very small but expected that. Very clean. Restaurant food was good, cocktails a little pricey. All staff were welcoming, kind and very helpful. There isn't much nearby so be prepared. There was a refrigerator and microwave. 2 cups for coffee no glasses. Tv worked great. Down side no breakfast offered so had to travel. Lauri our dinner server was excellent!!!! I would stay again if had to stay on the area.
