Clean well fitted out rooms. Vibrant restaurant and bar area .

3 Star hotel, pretending to be a 4 Star hotel. No pool. Converted bedroom with some gym equipment pretending to be a gym. Overall dirty though. Breakfast overpriced and poor standard. Desk staff very freindly and helpful.

The property was lovely and the staff helpful although I wish they provided free parking to their guests.

Convenient location for Dundrum. Clean room, quick check in. Car parking. Good food and atmosphere in bar/restaurant.

Breakfast was great, staff very friendly. Shame we had to pay to park underneath the hotel and it was very hot in the room with the windows open as there was no air conditioning

Beautiful, recently renovated hotel. The lobby and restaurants are extremely comfortable. Staff is amazing.

Very good experience, and close to the Luas Tram. The gym had more equipment than I thought, but it is very stuffy in there and you have to check in with concierge to get access, so this was a slight inconvenience (but open 24/7). Beds are very comfortable, and the lobby has a lot of seating. The rooms had a kettle, tea, and coffee, but no microwave.

I did like the gym. It was stylish and modern and if you didn't want to go out, you could easily stay there.

Location was great but you need a car, clean room, staff, I would have appreciated more if parking was included

Great location for business purposes. Great facilities, though slightly dated. Gym had ok equipment but very dated. Food options were fine but a bit expensive for what you get

Lovely clean hotel. Good location with the Luas stop on the door step. Comfortable bed and tasty breakfast.

Everything was ok. The main areas would have benefited form a careful vacuuming, especially around the lifts. Same mess there for two days.

Couldn’t find tea and coffee but was in a drawer! Why it couldn’t be on a shelf or on the table is beyond me. Plenty of sockets and power outlets. Bathroom had not been cleaned properly. There was a false eyelash on the worktop by the basin. Also the shower head in the bathroom was a fixed one which is not ideal even though there were shower caps provided. That said, the bed was very comfortable and I would stay again.

Room was spotless. And the staff were very helpful and friendly

After checking in we didn’t go back to the room till quite a little bit later the bathroom area smelt of cigarettes, which was quite disgusting, we kept the bathroom door shut all night which made it okay in the main bedroom area, when we reported the problem the next day they reluctantly moved us to a new room, we got the impression that they knew about the problem prior to our arrival.

This hotel has gone down since our previous stay. Entering the room there was smell of stale/smoke. The carpets are really dirty and the bathroom door handle comes off quite easily. There is no freshener in toilet. Prviously we had a fridge in room and now not. We have even stayed in 3 start hotels on our trip in Europe that have provided a far superior experience on every level.

The hotel is comfortable and is well kept. Unfortunately the service from the staff was not good. They didn't clean our room for 2 nights in a row and were not helpful, in general.

Close to public transport. Room was hot at night & noise from main road made it impossible to leave windows open. Next time I would ask for a room over a quieter street.

Fairly quiet business area as we arrived later on a Friday. I had chosen previously the upgrade from standard double to a king and I wish I hadn’t as it was not anything special. The bathroom counter was stained and there was no air conditioning

Room was clean but very hot. I had to open both windows to get it to cool down as I couldn't turn off the heat. Room service was lovely, and delivered by a friendly staff member. Check in and out was all done online. Breakfast was tasty and varied. I didn't notice ice being available on any of the floors, but perhaps it could have been arranged from the bar.

When we walked into our room it reeked of smoke and was obvious the precious occupant had been smoking in there. There was cigarette ash remaining on the window ledge. This gave a terrible first impression. We asked to move room and were immediately given an alternative. Also the rooms didn’t have any air con which I was surprised at when compared to other hotels I have stayed at.

Large,comfortable, well equipped rooms. Pleasant and efficient staff. Right next to a Luas stop so easy to get into Dublin

We stayed 4 nights here and the biggest issue were the staff. While there were so many, most were untrained, rude, unhelpful or arguing between themselves or being told off by management. There was little to know Irish charm or welcome that you would expect or be used too. We had a fan in our room that was physically broken but on closer inspection, had a Do NOT Use sticker on it as it had failed it's electric test. On check in, I was told they do not accept 100€ notes 'because the bank doesn't take them' but when I asked to speak to a Manager, both the bar and restaurant ones had no issue with it. The soft drinks and water in the vending machines on each floor are over 1€ cheaper than the bar. I went down to breakfast, not having booked but was told at check in that was fine, it just cost a bit extra, but was then told my room didn't have credit, despite it having a 200€ deposit. When I asked what my options were, the lad serving shrugged his shoulders and said I couldn't have breakfast. I asked to speak to his manager and she explained that my room credit had not been 'unlocked' and told me to go to reception to do it. Which I said I didn't think was my job so she went and did it. She later apologised but everything was such hard work in this hotel. Car park was good though. Plenty of space.

Efficient friendly staff for which nothing was too much trouble. Bar food and drinks service was excellent; breakfast was fantastic. We love the Clayton Hotels. Previously stayed in the Clayton Cambridge which was also a pleasure.

The staff were professional, friendly and helpful from check-in at reception to bar staff, restaurant staff, cleaning staff to checkout at reception. The buffet breakfast was delicious. Lots of choice, fresh food and a good range of 'free from' choices. The bed was very comfortable - wonderful sleep. 10/10

Our stay at Clayton Hotel - Leopardstown was subpar at best. We checked in online and were able to skip the lines and use the machine to generate our key cards! And the shuttle to the concert was great. However, our room had no towels. And when we asked for towels, they only brought us one. My partner and I had to share a towel, despite asking again for more. My reservation was, in fact, for 2 guests. The elevators were hardly working. Due to decent reviews online, we decided to dine at the hotel's restaurant and bar. It was chaos trying to order, and the drinks were very expensive for such a small glass. As far as the food goes: The hotel employee brought out our food and abruptly set our food down. She didn't set my partner's plate far enough on the table, and it fell off the table and spilled all over his clothes. While she quickly took it away and brought out a new plate, there was no apology or clean up. My partner's shirt was stained. And we had to use our napkins to clean the mess on the tavle, and were never brought new ones. When I approached the bar to ask for more napkins, an employee rudely said "what do you want" We very disappointed at the lack of apologies, but the rude staff and zero attempts to make it right made it even worse. The rooms were okay, lobby ambiance was fine. But we only stayed at this hotel because of the closeness to Marlay Park, and I do not think we will stay again.

The Clayton hotel is lovely. Great decor and food and the rooms are a good size. My only complaint would be good service. For dinner i had to move table twice to get a waiters attention. At breakfast I waited 10 minutes to order something, before eventually having to find someone to ask. There doesnt seem to be much order.

Stay there quite often , the only annoying thing is the cleaning ladies & it happens all the time , 9am the door would swing open , lights turned on & then she would apologise & then an hour later there would be knocking at the door , strange when checkout time is 12 , lovely hotel , but don’t expect to get a lieon !!!

Positives - clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable bed and facilities. Bar, restaurant and lobby area are nicely decorated and spacious. Location is fine - close to Luas stop and car parking facility means easy to get into town Negatives - check in: not overly friendly or informative staff. As an example I had to drag all details out of reception e.g. what time is breakfast, where is it served, how do I validate parking etc... would normally expect check in desk to tell me this without prompt. Bar and food service not good at all. Lots of staff but wandering around not taking orders, not clearing tables and avoiding customers. Sat for 15 minutes at a dirty table waiting for someone to take a food order - asked several times and was told a colleague would be with us shortly... when food arrived still had to ask for the dirty glasses to be removed. Ni follow up to see if we would like another drink / all ok. None of the nearby tables were cleared in the time we were sitting at table. Food itself was fairly good. Similar experience at bar at night - lots of staff but ordering a drink at bar is painful - it wasn't that busy but bar staff unable to take more than one order at a time, most of the tables had empty glasses there all night - not impressive at all. Overall - good accomodation but make sure you have had your food and drink before arriving - also there is no restaurant, bar shop etc.. close to the hotel!

Nice hotel, no issues! Convenient metro station for the green line into city centre! Did not need to use but airport shuttle was there for use!

Brilliant check-in experience. Room was very clean. Great view. Slept really well as it was really quiet. Bus station is literally outside making it very easy to get into the city. Will definitely stay again.

This was a convenient enough stay. A little ways from city center, but the tram is a short walk. It was worth it to save a little money per night. The Aircoach from Dublin Airport drops you at the front doors. It was a good launching point to our trip.

A bit far from the center but so easy to connect with the streetcar.

Comfortable room. Airport bus straight outside door. Luas beside hotel into Dublin or a few stops to Dundrum Shopping centre.

The Clayton was a comfortable stay before we joined a tour around Ireland. It was safe and clean. The location to Dublin was not ideal as there weren’t places to walk around to. However, the tram stop was a few minutes walk and the Air Coach from the airport stopped directly there. We had dinner and drinks in the bar and the service was excellent. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you!

This is in a business district, so, no where to walk really. But the hotel was great and staff was nice.

Good hotel near transport and large business area. Good base for exploring South Dublin and Wicklow.

Modern business class hotel in an office park just off the main Dublin ring road, and close to the famous Leopardstown horse racing track. Not much in the immediate area, but easy transport connections to nearby suburbs and Dublin city centre. Good value for a short stay if you don´t need to be in the centre, but exprensive at track weekends!

Weekend break in Dublin. Booked on the day for a great price. Really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Inclusive breakfast was great!

Check in was good although we checked bags as we arrived early and there was confusion over which bags were ours with the hotel staff. It got sorted pretty quickly though. Room left a bit to be desired. There was a section of the bathroom mirror that looked off and wouldn’t fog up when the rest of the mirror did. That was pretty creepy implying an opening behind the mirror in that spot. Provisioning for the room was pretty spotty. No coffee, TP was almost empty, and water was hot or miss on whether they would refill. The restaurant has okay food although the service was unresponsive. We had to flag a wait staff down each time we sat down to get menus etc. Breakfast buffet was also sub par. The eggs tasted like vegetable oil and the scrambled eggs looked like egg and milk soup. We never ventured to try the scrambled eggs as a result. The yogurt was good though. We quite liked the yogurt mixed with granola. Only recommendation would be to have a few more options to add to the yogurt like different kinds of granola etc. We stayed on the top floor which was a pro and a con. The view of the area was okay but heat rises and we found ourselves struggling to stay cool overnight. We left the windows open overnight and a dog in the neighbourhood that barked the night through. The other con was the elevators were in high demand, the buttons worked intermittently to select floors, and no service elevator so had to compete with cleaning staff for lift access.

Coffee / snack dock slow service. Very expensive for two cups of thin watery coffee. Love staying here but won’t be using coffee dock again

Nice hotel although expensive in my opinion Enjoyed my stay apart from breakfast Far to busy for a small area,cold plates and luke warm hot buffet,no pastries left,2 coffee machines with very long waits For a £215 room you expect better Staff were nice and did listen to my complaint
