Bay Watch 1901

Super cute little penthouse room with a beautiful view! The only complaint we have is the bed. It was EXTREMELY squeaky and moved every time one of us rolled over, it also dents in the middle and is not very comfortable. It’s definitely time to replace the mattress. Other than that we loved our stay! If the bed got replaced we would definitely stay again.

Our stay was amazing! Beautiful condo right on the beach!! Perfect for 2! Had a few issues in the beginning but the owners were so quick to get them fixed… fixed before we got off of the beach, would definitely rent again :)

Wasn’t horrible could use a little work

Pros: easy check in, good view, great location, despite small size of the rental the space is well utilized and meets most needs, staff was helpful, delicious Italian ice cart by the outdoor pools.Cons: bed sags to the middle and insanely squeaky, resort itself is old, dirty and in need of updating. Pools were murky (my kid literally couldn't see the bottom to retrieve diving toys), hot tubs sandy and dirty, common areas dirty. Many guests were a bit rowdy for what we thought was a family environment (we had an v intoxicated adult puke right next to us by the pool on a Tuesday afternoon, weed stench, vaping poolside). People would just leave trash behind! Really bad smell in the hallway (maybe there's a trash area nearby?). We usually do not vacation at Myrtle Beach so maybe our expectations were off but we would not return..

Came down for a couple of days with my mother in law. Was absolutely wonderful. Will come back.
