Hotel deposit is cash only but they have an atm by the front desk.

Hotel itself doesn’t look great. Signs posted everywhere at check in saying they don’t clean due to covid 19 and they didn’t clean our room once in 3 nights. I didn’t think this was too bad until I realized under our bed was a sandal left from the people that last stayed. I then noticed a lit blunt in the corner of the room & an old receipt, which didn’t belong to us, and a lot of dust and dirt on the mirror, the lights, the fridge, literally everywhere. Rooms don’t have microwaves. Bed only comes with two pillows max which isn’t enough to comfort two adults. Only thing I liked was that the room actually looked nice & it was close to the train station, but the cleanliness is terrible. The surrounding area/city this hotel is in is also pretty dirty but that’s not the hotel’s fault, it’s the fact they did not even thoroughly clean the room before we came to check in. Honestly disgusts me and makes me wonder if they cleaned anything at all.

The subway station is about five or six blocks away. At night, walking back to the hotel felt a bit dark. Next to the hotel, there’s a small café that served good breakfasts. The cleanliness was generally good but could be improved (under the bed hadn’t been swept and was dirty with some trash). The bathroom was quite good. They require a $60 cash deposit.

The room was clean the first day, on the second day my boyfriend killed a roach in the bathtub. The room temperature was excellent. There is NO Late checkout, no bag storage, No Microwave in the room or kettle for a hot cup of tea. This is an average stay at a $176.00 USD per night.

It had an ice machine.

There was no mention of a $100 cash deposit for the room. The ac/heater was decent. The room had scratches and gouges on the walls. The sheets weren't the cleanest.

It would be nice if the rooms had an electric kettle or coffee maker.

price was very reasonable. Cleaning was good. Need a microwave and a coffee maker in each room.

No tv controller in the room No bath soap in the room No quilt on the bed.

Not a great area but close to the train station about a 15 minute walk. The only downside was they require $100 deposit in cash and you have to use the machine so I didn’t have $100 in cash. the machine charge with two different charges, which I am disputing with the bank.

I will note that it didn't feel as if it had been cleaned well -- there was hair in the tub and food in the refrigerator when I arrived. The bedsheets had some stains. The air conditioning unit was quite loud and made it very difficult to sleep. The area isn't terrible, but certainly not the best neighborhood. Still, the staff was fine and friendly.

Our room was very dirty. There was dirt caked to the walls and light switches. The bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows were tiny sofa pillows.

You get what you pay for. A budget friendly hotel near Manhattan. The room was tidy but not super clean. The floors were a bit sticky. Bathroom was great.

The room was dirty, small and outdated, and there were a number of different colored hair strands on my sheets. It felt very gross, I checked out early and found a new hotel, especially after I saw multiple reports of bed bugs at the hotel in the last 3 months.

When we arrived, the room and bathroom were very dirty. The sink and bathtub had very obviously not been cleaned from the previous person staying there, there were stains on the walls and bedsheets, and there was garbage (wrappers) left on the floor. We checked in around 2am after a long day of traveling, saw the state of the room, and within the hour went down to the lobby to request to cancel our stay as the room was very unsanitary. We were told that a refund could not be made and we could not check out until our original check out day (we had planned to stay 4 nights). Because it was so late, we slept just that night there and left early in the morning. We booked this stay through Hotels.com and even purchased the protection plan, yet we were STILL denied a refund. This is completely unacceptable, a refund for the unused nights should be processed at least. DO NOT STAY AT VOYAGE HOTEL.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was left over food from someone else in the fridge, the remote for the TV didn’t have batteries, the bed sheets had stains and the bathroom had no trash can.

The room had not been wiped down, it was dusty, hand prints on walls , and when we pulled the sheets back the bed cover was filthy with God knows what kinda stains on it, however the guy at the desk did try to accommodate us and give us new linen, but overall the cleanliness was the main issue!!!

The room and washroom are passable. The insulation and heater didn't seem to work, so it's freezing in the winter. The surrounding area is nice and walkable to the metro.

Extremely dissapointed. Dirty linen, rooms not soundproof at all and couldn't sleep as I heard every word from rooms next door.

Overall, I think this hotel is a good choice. I had to switch rooms twice—my first room was on the first floor with windows that wouldn’t close, and the second room had an AC that didn’t cool properly. Aside from these issues, the location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation, and my experience was generally positive. With some improvements to maintenance, this could be an outstanding stay.

The room and restroom smelled like pee. There was construction right outside our window. And people taking the whole time even in the am hours

The staff were efficient and courteous, as for the location it offered lots in regard places to eat, general shopping and coffee. The transport links were handy if you wanted to to travel into manhattan too. My bed was pretty superb also👍👌

The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel! Soft yet not moving as it sits on a platform. So comfortable!!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights while exploring Manhattan and had a pleasant experience. The room, designed for two guests, was spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job, ensuring the room was cleaned while I was out.The hotel provided Wi-Fi, which was convenient. I encountered a few minor discrepancies, but the staff was quick to address them, showing excellent customer service.One of the highlights was the location—just a short walk from some great restaurants and diners. While the neighborhood has a bit of a sketchy feel due to the nearby projects, the hotel itself is at a safe enough distance that it wasn’t a concern.Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay while visiting Manhattan.

Well the place is good! Around is little bit noisy!but for the rest is good, well the privacy have to improve a little be more, i can hear the elevator every time someone goes down or up! And is a little annoying in the night!

Horrible service

I have never left a review in my life, but here we go– before we arrived, we called and asked if we could check in our bags early, leave, and come back and they said we could. when we arrived he told us we could just leave them out in the lobby… the dirty, unkept lobby. we reluctantly left our luggage with them, because what else were we supposed to do? 5hrs later, at check-in, our bags were still left alone, which is good, but we were surprised by a cash deposit of $100 because we booked through expedia (which we were worried about whether or not we’d be getting it back). when we went to our room, it was filthy. dirt, red candle wax and other stains all over the floor. the bathroom was almost entirely unkept; dirty sink, counter stains, and dirty tub. my wife kindly went downstairs and requested our room get cleaned once more, but they just gave us another room key instead. i went to inspect the new room while my wife started gathering our things to move. when i came back, the cleaning staff, clearly pissed off, was already in the room cleaning before we could even get our things. as we watched them clean the room, (this is where it gets rough y’all) they: moped with a totally dry mop, “swept” without a dustpan, just moving it all around, then sprayed lysol and left. okay? needless to say we figure out why our rooms were as gross as they were. in terms of location, it’s pretty rough. it’s a 15min walk to the nearest subway, and the walk itself is pretty sketch.

It was a great stay, location is nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. The subway are a small walk away from the hotel. Defintely staying here again if I have to.

Good Front Desk

The hotel was clean ,the staff was okay the room has the essentials, my room was cleaned every day , not the beast area around the neighborhood but I didn’t have any bad incidents or felt threatened , the metro station is about 10 min walk

My room door was left open till late at night after the housekeeping semi cleaned the room. Upon complaining to the management and asking to speak to the owner who seemed least interested in speaking to the client. Or even apologizing. Would not recommend staying at this hotel!!!

The attention was very good and easy

Great service, Queens is a little spicy..locals told us to watch out, and keep our belongings safe.. poor area, doesn’t mean people are automatically bad..they just gotta eat. If you’re scared, dont go. If not? Then why not? Cheap, 10 minutes from train. Give it a go.

Travelled with my partner, the hotel is in excellent condition, staff is very useful. Bad reviews are probably due to the area which to me felt like a regular Queens area; the Queensbridge projects section is more unpleasant, but it is away from the hotel.

Area very noisy, police, cars passing fast, fights and with many people living in cars. Maybe a little far from the stations to walk at night around the hotel area. If you want to stay in a quiet place this is not the best.

The hotel is a little bit far from the station but I chose this hotel because it is close to Manhattan and also the price is reasonable. The room is cozy, nice and clean, suitable for couple and family, but not an option for single customer because the neighborhood is shady and you have to walk alone for 10-15 mins from the subway.

The room locked and the AC worked. That is all that was pleasant about this hotel. The are feels a bit unsafe. It is a few blocks from the subway. There are some food options nearby and a lot of people just loitering in the streets.

The hotel and the staff were very good but there is no breakfast. No coffee, water, or tea in the room. Home service was good. The hotel is expensive considering having no breakfast or other facilities.

Although the rooms are small, it’s a great location with a quick commute to the city. You also have plenty of food options, friendly staff and place was nice and clean.

It was an amazing stay and the staff super friendly. I was just caught off-guard with the $60 cash deposit. They have an ATM there so you can withdraw but there’s a fee. Other than that the location is good, not far from the F train, close to the city and amenities are within walking distance. Bed was comfortable and the shower was a treat.

The trip was amazing the hotel was great especially for the price. It was clean and quiet coffee shop right next door and not to far from subway. The bed was a little small to be a queen but other than that everything else was great.
