W Kuala Lumpur

The staff were amazing. I’m taking about all of them. Beautiful room and pool with a view of the Petronas Towers. Breakfast buffet was great. Good location next to everything. And the Towers were a block over. Highly recommend.

The W Kuala Lumpur makes a strong impression from the moment you walk in. The room design is clever and considered — an L-shaped layout with extensive use of mirrors that makes the space feel larger and more dynamic than it actually is. There’s a real sense of personality here, from the moody lighting options that let you set the room to whatever vibe you’re after, to the small details that show genuine thought has gone into the guest experience. Bedding and pillows are excellent — proper five-star quality that makes a tangible difference to sleep. Staff are attentive without being intrusive; they called twice to check the room was to my satisfaction, and when an issue was flagged with the phone handset, someone was up within minutes to replace it. That level of responsiveness sets the W apart from hotels that simply go through the motions. The pool deck is a highlight, transitioning into a DJ set by the pool in the evenings which gives the hotel a social energy that most KL properties lack. It feels like a place designed for people who actually want to enjoy themselves rather than just sleep and leave. A few minor niggles: there’s more traffic noise than you’d expect from a modern purpose-built hotel at this level, the AC didn’t quite cool to my usual refrigerator room level, and there were faint sounds of drilling from renovations on the 13th floor. None of these were dealbreakers, but worth noting. Overall, the W delivers something genuinely different - would recommend.

For city breaks possibly the best hotel I have stayed in. Location is exceptional being over the road from the Petronas towers with an unrivalled view from the rooms and the pool (wet deck). The facilities and staff were next level too - nothing was too much and it felt like there was a genuine personal touch you don’t get these days. Absolutely certain to visit here again if I return to KL.

We tried to take a nap after checking in. Very loud noise coming from the room below due to repairs. They shouldn't have put us in that room if repairs were scheduled.

We had an amazing staycation at W Kuala Lumpur, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The room design was absolutely stunning. Modern , stylish, and thoughtfully detailed. I especially loved the high-quality toiletries; you can really feel the luxury in every touchpoint. The breakfast spread deserves a special mention, generous, well curated, and delicious. The Wet Deck is another must-visit spot, perfect for leisure or gatherings. Enjoying the spectacular KLCC view from there was unforgettable. As Malaysians 🇲🇾, it made us feel incredibly proud to experience such an iconic view in such a vibrant setting. A special thank you to front desk officer Ms. RD, who was professional, warm, and served us exceptionally well. Overall, a truly worthwhile staycation experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy Kuala Lumpur in style. ✨
