Just a quick one, they didn’t seem to care about the facilities. No hotel restaurant or food services something they sell online. Paid for 2 rooms same price, completely different in quality. Nice location as quick walk to Main Street, beach etc.

Lovely hotel, the grounds is well kept, pool area is fantastic and service was excellent. The only thing for 2 adult I would prefer a king size bed but overall my stay was great. The receptions in the night and morning was excellent great customer service. Hi Phill good job!!

Check in was easy... I arrived early and was able to lounge at the pool until my room was ready. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and cool. Every room has its own balcony/outside sitting area, and mine overlooked the pool which was large and clean. There are bar stools in the pool for the swim-up bar and music was played during the day. The property is well kept, the staff are friendly and I felt very safe. The town and cruise port are a quick walk from the property for shopping, food, etc... I also used the Uber App to get around. I will definitely stay here again.

Love the location, very convenient. Easy to walk to other things like food, entertainment. However, its alot of walking to the rooms, well my room , especially with all the bags. The buildings need updating both inside and out. Not handicap friendlly. No tradh bunscslringkrd

Big beautiful pool and swim up bar enjoyed as much as beach, staff friendly and helpful the manager of this property is very accommodating we made reservations in the late evening because the booked fisherman point resort had issues which caused our group of eight to seek better accommodation and Mystic ridge helped us to enjoy the rest of our stay in Jamaica and the manager even called us to make sure we arrived safely back home this is the five stars vacation is made of Mary McClendon

Property was nicely landscaped, Pool and swim up bar easily accessible and clean. Front desk employee Benton polite and helpful. Room was clean, king size bed was amazing pillows nice and fluffy. Patio was a nice added bonus overlooking the well manicured gardens.

Horrible the worst place I've ever stayed the rooms are dirty and not taking care of bedding are filthy the bed skirts are Horrible the curtains are soiled the floors are Horrible looking and so filthy and dirty shower bath is filthy and doesn't even work properly this place is just over all disgusting for someone to pay this amount of money to stay wifi not working safe in room not working one bin only in bathroom ...my worst stay at any resort or hotel

I don't typically give reviews but was compelled to do this one. I stayed at Mystic approximately 10 years ago and loved, but unfortunately i cannot say the same for this visit. The grounds are very well kept. However the unit that i stayed in was subpar. There were roaches in the room, the bathroom needs an update, the chairs on the veranda were torn and the television volume was stock on a vert loud volume and couldn't be changed. Absolutely unacceptable! Will never stay here again

Poor water pressure & no real hot water. WiFi didn't work most of the time. TV didn't work at all. Rooms not cleaned properly. Staff either not around or not knowledgeable. Everything was a old and dated or broken. I was there for a funeral so didn't care too much as was busy

Property needs some maintenance, in my room the toilet tissue holder was broken and the room was not cleaned thoroughly. The bathroom did not look like it was cleaned in a while, tub had dirt stains on the walls and floor and bathroom mirror had white dried on stains

Stayed on this property before in another unit owned by someone else which was great. This particular one wasn't so great the bath and kitchen was not clean. The unit was old and outdated. Very visable scum in tub and tile walls looked like mold. Dirty shower curtain. Smashed insects on walls and ceiling throughout unit and one 3" roach that could of crawled in from cracks in the windows wooden shutters. Would I comeback to complex yes this unit absolutely not.

The photos online are misleading and don’t reflect the true condition of the hotel. The rooms are in need of serious upgrades—the ceilings need repainting, and there were wasp nests in the outdoor ceiling areas. Everything felt quite old and worn down, and the rooms were infested with ants. I truly hope the owners invest in renovating the property and addressing the insect problem. The only positives were that the water was hot and the air conditioning worked well.

Property is very rundown. You are walking distance, but you have to walk all the way down the hill which means you have to walk all the way back up the hill to get back to the property. The beds are hard. I switched to rooms first room. They try to squeeze two beds together, very noisy and very rundown.

The staff was nice they tried their best. They can only do what their bosses tell them to do . You have an issue you will not see management. There’s no restaurant there and you only know that after you’ve booked. Management needs to take some responsibility for unhappy guests.

Before booking I read the reviews and was a bit hesitant. Let me tell you how my stay was amazing! I travelled with my hubby and 2 young kids (8 and 12). The staff were super helpful and accommodating( Benton was the best). Room was perfect for my small family. AC✅ kitchen✅ pool✅ Keep in mind that there aren’t a lot of options for food( you have to go out to buy) or cook your own as you have a full kitchen and pots and pans to use! Location is perfect ( in ochi) I walked to buy food sometimes. The resort is a little dated but for the value it’s more than worth it. My family and I will definitely book again. I liked the close proximity to activities and shopping centres. I also liked that the wifi connection worked really well. The things i highly disliked was the poor customer service given at thw front desk on the morning of my departure, the lack of assistance by the staff to go back to my room to retrieve an item. There was also no option when booking a room to select a room closer to the entrance so there was a long walk to get to the apartment room while having to carry my suitcases up more than 4 flight of stairs. If it was not for the bad customer service i received on my departure i would have considered sting again but due to that experience at the front desk, it was definitely my first and last visit

Vacationers beware OF ANTS AND CRAWLING INSECTS IN AND AROUND THE PROPERTY, THEY CHARGE FOR USED TOWELS AND WASHCLOTH CLAIMED IT WAD SOILED. $20.00 USD FOR A WASHCLOTH WITH MANGO STAINED. TV NOT WORKING. THE SINK WAS SHAKY AND FELL AND DAMAGED MY HUSBAND'S FINGER.

This property staff looks for ways to con you out of money by charging for bedding thats not missing and pretends it has spot or stains to make you pay for it out of deposit. The room need updating as well as bathroom was definitely not good looking moldy. The only thing in-enjoy was the swim bar.

The experience was great i.e the swim up bar, it did not feel impersonal like a hotel stay but more like a home feel. The maintenance staff was communicating cordially without bias of country of origin. It would have been nice as an apartment setup to have access to a broom and another cleaning agent…Some people like to clean up after themselves. The junior suite concept is commendable BUT updated furniture (common area) would give it a more modern and eye appealing look. The food at the pool bar was delicious but you must drive or walk 5 to 10 minutes for good dining. I likely will return soon so look out for me! Thank you

Very nice atmosphere, not for everyone but I enjoyed the grounds and the staff. Just come prepared for all you need because they supply the bare minimum but clean, pool/pool bar, ac room, hot shower and decent breakfast to purchase on the property was a plus. If I go back to area I will stay there again

The grounds were actually beautiful. I felt the buildings needs a little sprucing up. The staff was nice and someone was there to meet us after hours (our flight came in really late). The dining/restaurant was closed because of renovations, but they did offer something at the pool bar and someone comes by every day with great local dishes to purchase. It is close to town and other places to eat. We had to ask for an iron (which didn't work). But overall is was okay.

The property was exactly what my son and I wanted. Very close to the centre of Ocho Rios with its excellent cuisine. 24 hour security. Simple, adequate and clean rooms. Restaurant was not open but they had a grill at the pool bar, plus a van came round every morning to sell freshly cooked Jamaican delicacies.

I liked the remoteness and the country feel of the Caribbean. I would have liked a restaurant on compound with choices of local foods and american foods I had to leave the compound to get foods that i liked .. It was a pleasant stay i hope for the future that a restaurant will be on compound to enhanxe the ambience .... There should be little mini vans that could give tours to the island sites that would have been exciting ... But sadly i was not feeling well to do anything like exploring i did enjoy the weather it was a good change from the freezing cold Thanks
