I loved my stay at the Bevin House Bed & Breakfast and am looking forward to returning. The mansion itself is gorgeous, situated on a lovely piece of property complete with a goat and some vocal chickens. The innkeeper, Amanda, was a perfect hostess, a combination of easygoing and welcoming, complete with delicious homemade cookies and thoughtful touches throughout and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend.

Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
