The personnel is helpful and attentive. The hotel is well located with several shops and restaurants in its vicinity. There are few rooms with a window that can be opened. A fridge and an electric kettle are available in the rooms with cups and glasses. No kitchen. The sound insulation should be improved.

Staff were lovely, location just on the old town border so great for tourists. Supermarket across the road which was really useful. My room overlooked the back so was reasonably quiet, but I would not have wanted a room overlooking the road because it was quite busy with young people hanging around making some noise. There are tables and benches outside the supermarket which attract groups. I didn’t feel comfortable being out after dark because of this, as a solo traveller. When I arrived the lift floor has spilled beer on it and the door was wedged open with the beer can. Staff seemed unaware. I used the stairs.

Beliggenheden var i top, det ligger perfekt. Vores nøgle kort virkede ikke på dag 2, da batteriet var gået i døren, så vi skulle have personale til at låse os ud og ind af værelset hver gang. Det var først efter 4 personale skifte i receptionen, at en gik med op og skiftede batteriet, det tog 1-2 min at gøre. Aircondition på værelserne, skulle nok være skiftet for 10 år siden, lød som et vandfald uden den store effekt.

Bon séjour l’hôtel est très bien placé dans le centre, il y a un supermarché juste en bas. Service de bagagerie, personnel sympathique

The hotel was excellent. Comfortable bed, good location, and nice bathroom. The only issue was there weren't many places to charge things.

The Bern Hotel has a nice blend of modern and retro in its style, and everything was in decent condition and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms facing the yard are quiet with no traffic noise, from what i could tell. The lift is good to have, and breakfast is generous, homely with plenty of variety. It is good value for price paid. Breakfast is 8am till 11am.

We were so surprised with how lovely this hotel was, from the minute we walked through the doors, to when we left. The staff on reception made checking in so easy taking only minutes. The room was so warm and cosy having everything we needed, even shampoo and conditioner, hairdryer, tea and kettle. We were so comfortable in our room and it was so close to the old town only minutes to get into the centre, ideal for exploring both old town and the newer shopping centres. Check out time was great, as we relaxed in the room right up until then, then checked out and kept our bag at the hotel so we could have another full day out, given we had a late flight, meaning we made the complete most out of our trip. Would certainly recommend to stay here, and have done to our friends already who are looking to book.

una localización estupenda y unas instalaciones que se ven remodeladas recientemente. La limpieza un poco justa, sólo han pasado dos veces en 8 días, aunque se indicó expresamente.

The towels they gave out were so worn out I wondered if they were meant to be given to customers. What's more, they smelled damp and had hair on them every time. However, the lady at the front desk was always smiling and helpful.

3 days without room cleaning. Noisy in the night

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und das Personal (mal abgesehen von den Putzfrauen) war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Das Zimmer war absolut ausreichend für unsere Zwecke, leider sehr kalt und wurde nicht richtig gereinigt.

This place is nothing fancy, but it’s very clean, it’s close to everything and most of all it was very reasonably priced.

In the old walled town. The trees in the courtyard were blooming. We could see them from our tiny room. We had everything needed, just very cramped and unattractive. The bed sunk in the middle. Could not get a good night's rest.

Fantastic location right by the old town in Tallinn. Good value. But uncomfortable bed, and no way to change the room temperature made for uncomfortable nights.

The hotel was okay for what it was. Very few electrical outlets and the room was on the small side.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet was intermittent and quit working for a while, though it could’ve been the room location.

Good for the price. Our room was next to the the lift, which desperately needed some WD-40. It was so squeaky that we always heard when it was opening and closing through the walls of our room. Otherwise decent cleanliness and room. Good location

I think the pipes were making weird noises at night. A little noisy. Otherwise, hotel was good for the money.

No wifi in my room !

Second visit to this hotel and I will be back again. A really perfect hotel right in the heart of Tallinn but with the benefit of being in a very quite position. Staff are friendly, rooms are well appointed (air con) and well cleaned every day.

Das Personal ist mehrheitlich nicht an den Gästen interessiert, als wir versehentlich zu früh beim Frühstück waren wurden wir unfreundlich weggeschickt. Auch beim Checkout wurde sich nicht freundlich verabschiedet. Die Zimmer haben keine zu öffnenden Fenster wodurch das Zimmer muffig riecht und keine frische Luft außer durch die Klimaanlage in den Raum kommt. Zimmer wurde bei 3 Nächten nur 1x gesäubert und gerichtet. An einem Tag würde das Zimmer weder gereinigt, keine Handtücher ausgetauscht noch die Betten gemacht. Bei den Betten würde einfach ein Topper über die Matratze gelegt. Nur über dem Topper war ein Bezug die Matratze war ohne Bezug. Die Zimmer sehen auf den Fotos sehr viel besser als als in echt. Die Türe zum Zimmer klemmt außerdem und man muss beim rausgehen aufpassen, dass man das Zimmer nicht versehentlich offen lässt. Man mußte die Karte nochmal zum richtigen schließen in das Schloß stecken. Das Frühstück ist für 16€ viel zu teuer für den Preis und wir sind wirklich nicht sehr wählerisch. Es gibt zwar verschiedene Toast,, Waffeln zum selber machen, Porridge und verschiedene Beläge. Doch von der Qualität und Auswahl erwartet man doch einiges mehr. Der Frühstücksraum befindet sich im Keller ohne Fenster und ist auch eher ungemütlich.

Excellent place to stay at Tallinn. I booked this hotel last minute, and it just perfect! Margi greats me with the best hospitality you could ever asked. The room is spacious, clean and quite.

Right near all the shops and local action. The front staff (Vlady) was the absolute best. He was charming, kind, and extremely helpful about what to do in Tallinn. The entire hotel is clean and modern. Definitely my new place to stay.

This is a great value to be right in Old town and also near the Tram line. Easy to walk to the main sights, bars and restaurants in the Old town, and there is also a grocery store very close by. Highly recommend.

You can’t beat the location- steps from the old town and the tram. The room was a bit small but just fine for me. There is a very ample and varied breakfast. The price was very reasonable. I’ve stayed in 4 other hotels in Tallinn over the years and this was the most convenient for access to the old town & ttabsp

Nice hotel! Great area. Just outside Old Town walls. Manager is always there! She is very helpful and friendly. She let us check in two hours early. And she got us a cab to the airport when we left. :) Great buffet breakfast. Clean, comfortable rooms. We slept well! :)

Great location, friendly staff and interesting vibe. The room was comfortable and spacious, for the price. I am very satisfied with the hotel, except for the breakfast. Not worth the 14 euros at all. In two of the mornings I stayed there they didn't even have eggs. I'd recommend spend that money at of the bakeries near by. Otherwise, great hotel option, right around the corner of the old town.

Location is the best, not too much in the action but just close enough, so there's no people screaming and partying! Walkable to all attractions. Breakfast was very good, it starts the day perfectly.

Die Einrichtung hat definitiv schon bessere Jahre gesehen, aber das Bad war relativ neu und das Zimmer sehr geräumig. Das Frühstück war extrem spärlich. Glücklicherweise hatte ich es nur für einen Tag gebucht. Aber insgesamt war das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis gut. Vor allem die Lage (direkt neben dem Viru Gate) zur Altstadt war spitze!

Zimmer ok. Aber alles in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück im Keller. Für anspruchslose Reisende ok.

Plus: Så bra läge med närhet till Gamla stan och simhallen. Minus: Dyr frukost och rumskorten laddade ur.
