Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando Lake Nona Area

If you are looking at this hotel for an airport shuttle, proceed with caution. It took 1.5 hours to be picked up from the airport only to find out their morning shuttle doesn't start until 8:00 am. Front desk answers the phone one out of every 5-6 calls.

Other than parking which the lot was full and I understand we checked in at 2 a.m. and had a very peaceful night sleeping woke up at eight and had a beautiful breakfast with my wife and proceeded to Palm Bay thank you for your hospitality

I have been 3 or 4 times in the very same hotel in the last 2 years, but this time I feel very disappointed in it. One of the 2 elevators was damaged all weekend (I assume they haven't fixed it yet); There is not enough parking spaces (I arrived this morning around 2 am and had to park on the street, about 1,000 feet from the hotel); the air conditioning in the room made a terrible noise when the unit turns on. Overall very disappointed, as I said, I don’t think I will visit them again.

We needed a place to stay near the airport for one night. Had nice gym, complimentary breakfast. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom could use an update but otherwise this hotel met all our needs.

No parking at all and the front lady told me to park in front of some apartments a little ways away. And few others guests had the same problem, no enough parking

Typical Holiday Inn, very clean, friendly staff, excellent location for access to restaurants, etc.. Pool was not heated but we weren't using it. If traveling wiht kids or want to use the pool area, probably not for you. Not much there for that part. Good business stay/passing thru hotel.

Had to wait for over an hour for shuttle at airport. Road was a drag step all night long with cars.

The lounge chair in the room have various stains and looked unclean, otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. The safe in the room didn’t work.

Very clean & spacious rooms. Staff is very polite & welcoming. The breakfast is fresh & hot with many options. Really enjoyed my stay here!

Dirty rooms and smell. No remote in room, went to front desk to try and get one - after front desk tried 5 or 6 of them out in lobby TV, gave me one that "worked". Did not work once in room - gave up on the TV. Absolutely no towels in the room, had to go back down stairs to get hand towels, shower towels and wash clothes.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Lake Nona off Narcoossee Road in Orlando, Florida. The location was convenient for my needs, and the shuttle service from the airport was a nice touch. Check-in was quick, and I was given a room on the third floor. However, the room had major issues. It was clean at first glance, but I soon discovered bedbugs or fleas under the covers and around the room. I got bitten multiple times. To make matters worse, the air conditioner didn't work. Florida is hot, and without AC, I barely got any sleep. I called the front desk, and they promised to send someone to fix the air conditioner. A maintenance guy came up, but the AC still didn't work after he "fixed" it. Eventually, I was moved to another room where the air conditioner worked, and thankfully, there were no bugs. On the positive side, the breakfast each day was really good, and the staff were kind and professional. However, they clearly have a pest problem, and I want to warn potential guests about this issue. Overall, while the staff was great and breakfast was good, the pest problem and malfunctioning AC made for a pretty miserable stay. If they can address these issues, it could be a decent place to stay, but for now, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I was very disappointed as the ratings for the hotel were high. It was nice and clean and fairly new. However, our room was infested with aints. They were crawling all over the coffee counter and bathroom counter. In the morning, our tooth brushes were covered with aints. Breakfast and service were great.

The staff was very friendly. Check in was quick and simple. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet. We also enjoyed breakfast in the morning.

Shower floor was not cleaned, I slipped and fell in the shower. Staff was responsive and cleaned the shower.

We had a great 4 night stay! Our room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The staff was amazing! Everyone we talked to was very friendly and polite. Great breakfast every morning as well.

The second and 3rd day I had no hot water. The hair dryer didn't work.

Room had water marks on the ceiling, the door would not close without you pushing into place, deadbolt did not engage. No maintenance on site to help.

Everything was fine. Things that were noticed in the room that should be addressed were a crack in the ceiling that went across the room close to the window. Some bubbled paint (water) above toilet. Hair dryer didn’t work. Placement of shampoo/conditioner/body wash should be moved to side wall. Having to sit to take shower due to disability- the dispenser is in back of you and is difficult to get to. Overall, the stay was fine. The provided breakfast was adequate. It would be nice to have a microwave handy to warm items.

Wifi was down 2 days. But everything else great.

The room was clean but the AC in my room and other’s rooms did not seem to properly cool and it was very humid in the rooms and hallway. Very thin, cheap towels. Water temperature for shower only reached lukewarm. Free breakfast buffet lacked in quality.

Couch was full of stains, old. Carpets seemed filthy. TV was old. No apps on tv, only basic tv channels

Staff was great. But once walking into the room i was just like this is what we paid for? The curtain to cover the window was slashed, like someone previously cut it and the staff decided to leave it like that. The soap bottles were dirty in the shower and the bottom of the shower had black dirt marks on the wall. We could barely sleep because you can hear all the noise outside and the a/c barely worked in the room. It was so hot my husband and i kept waking up every hour. There was a long crack in the ceiling or the “new hotel”. For the price paid it wasn’t worth it. The lobby is pretty.

The air conditioning was extremely loud keeping me up at night, the refrigerator froze everything in it but the staff replenished my frozen waters.

Holiday Inns are always my go to stay when I am unsure of an area. Southeast by IHG Orlando did not disappoint. Rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds? So comfortable! I am a horrible all night sleeper and wake up often throughout the night, their beds convinced me it may just be my bed at home - I slept like a baby. I absolutely overlooked the breakfast included daily - I'm not talking cereal and donoughts either. Every day it was a different breakfast meat of choice (i.e. sausage, bacon, sausage links etc.); scrambled eggs, plenty of bread choices including pancakes, all kind of beverages. And the coffee? OMG I drank a few cups a day it was so good and available 24/7. Don't hesitate to book your stay. Prime location, close to the airport and in a nice area. Book here. Great hotel, room and staff. Was even able to get a late checkout with no issues at all

Had a short stay here after a cruise. We were able to check in early which was a huge plus. The front desk attendant (younger gentleman with short curly hair) was very pleasant to deal with. The free breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options.

I booked from December 29 for 3 nights but arrived on the 30th due to an airplane delay. When I got to the hotel, although fully paid for, they told me there were no rooms available. It was 10pm at night and my partner was sick with fever. They bounced us back. And it was already paid for 3 nights!!! We had to find another hotel on the spot. Horrible. Horrible understanding of how to treat human beings.

The staff at check in and check out was so friendly and helpful. Our room was exactly what we needed.

All staff was approachable, friendly and willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. The shuttle service was very convenient and the driver was very nice. Great hotel stay experience! Would highly recommend.

I love the chain of holiday Comfort suites but this one was so so. First checked in at 10pm. Took showers got up 6am left went to our event. Surprisingly at 3 pm still didnt have fresh towels went to desk said they would bring some 4 30 5 oclock still none so i went back said they were drying and they would bring some. Not to mention the hair dryer that was in the room sparked fire when you turn it on took to front desk manager (i guess that was who he was) brought brand new one to the room. Check out time still NO FRESH TOWELS.not to mention another guest hit my car and never said anything. Also the people above us either walk heavy or were stomping the floor till after 1130pm.

I tried to purchase chips and a drink when I arrived the guy told me I had to pay cash and I could not have a receipt. I asked him why I just gave him my CC for incidentals and he didn\'t have an answer. He kept insisting that he could not add the small purchase to my room charge. I now have multiple holds and strange amounts on my CC. I believe he was trying to steal the cash and when that didn\'t work he messed up my CC transactions. When I complained and asked for the manager he hit one button on the computer and said "ok, its on the room now". He was clearly trying to get away with something and when called out he backed off. There are no streaming services so don\'t expect to watch Netflix or You Tube when at this place. The public restrooms in the lobby looked like a porta potty, very gross and unclean. Bathrooms in the rooms were also dirty. Alarm clock in the room didn\'t work, this is small but annoying. Overall bad experience. I will not be staying at a Holiday Inn express again.

I travel periodically for business and this hotel is very convenient! Clean rooms, good breakfast, and centrally located to Lake Nona shopping and dining. Only negative was the unfriendliness of the night shift clerk. It was obvious she did not want to be there checking in or checking out guests. Totally different vibe from day shift staff who were friendly and greeted you as you came through the door.

I loved this place! It’s a fantastic place to stay in an excellent area just 8 minutes from the USTA National Campus. Breakfast starts at 6 a.m., and many restaurants and stores are within walking distance. It’s quiet and clean as well.

It was a short stay to catch some rest off the plane before a long weekend location was close to airport it worked out well.

The food was good

The breakfast crew was amazing, they went out of their way to please everybody. The irons were dirty and ruin one of my shirts while ironing it for a wedding. One day the carpets were not vacuumed and tissue paper was not replaced.

We stayed here for an appointment at the VA. Perfect location, and area. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Room was spotless, and spacious. Service at the front desk was great. Breakfast tho, could’ve been better. The only condiments offered were peanutbutter and jelly. There wasn’t any cream cheese for the bagels, or butter for the biscuits. I would still recommend this Holiday Inn and we‘ll be returning shortly for another VA appointment.
