Hampton Inn & Suites New Iberia Avery Island

No hot water in the entire hotel. The second day still no hot water. Hard to justify paying for a room that you can't take a hot shower in. That's just me maybe I'm too picky. When I ask for consideration they said they're working on it and it comes and goes sometimes you have hot water sometimes you don't. Unacceptable for a Hilton property. On a side note if somebody dies in the elevator, I warned them. I'm a construction manager specializing in elevator installation. The elevator farthest away from the front desk has a cab that is hanging up at the top of the third floor the whole cab shifts sideways when it reaches the third floor. They are just asking to break a main hoist cable I told them please take it out of service before somebody gets hurt

Room cleanliness was okay but not great, the hotel needs fixing up bad. The receptionist spent most of the time smoking outside than actually being on reception. We hadnt realised how disgusting the pool was until our son had been in it for 10 minutes, got out and was sick around 30 mins after for an hour (he’d had nothing wrong prior to that) and the pool toilets were absolutely disgusting and filthy.

Nice, clean, & pleasant experience.

Refrigerator in room was very loud. Kept me awake. Towels were stained.

Clean room and Good breakfast.
