El desayuno muy completo desde fruta y yogur, cereales de todo tipo, bollería, opciones saladas, muy rico todo. El parking muy cerca del hotel, doce euros el día, aunque en la web del hotel da a entender que hay parking en el hotel. Todo lo demás muy correcto, es bonito y calentito.

Lieu calme et charmant! Personnel attentionné et dévoué. Le déjeuner est excellent! On s’y sent très bien. Nous avons pu laisser notre auto pendant 2 jours dans un petit garage sécuritaire et propre.

Personnel extrêmement gentil, chaleureux et attentionné. Endroit calme et paisible. Petit déjeuner parfait. Emplacement idéal et parking privé très facile d’accès. Je recommande sans hésiter!

Bel établissement. Chambre propre et confortable. Absence totale d'insonorisation : on entend les voitures rouler comme si la fenêtre était ouverte et nos voisins de chambre quand ils parlent et toussent, les personnes qui descendent l'escalier... Ce qui ne permet pas du tout un séjour reposant. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment médiocre et de piètre qualité, cela dénote pour cet établissement qui se veut de standing élevé. A noter que le parking se situe à 5min à pied pour 12€ la journée et qu'il n'est possible d'accéder à sa voiture qu'à des horaires fixes (pas d'automate, c'est une personne qui gère le parking). Thé et café en self service au rez de chaussée. La personne de l'accueil est serviable et aidante. En résumé, beaucoup trop cher pour une nuit peu reposante et un petit déjeuner de mauvaise qualité.

Wonderful little hotel! Great service by very kind front desk staff. The little garden they have is so pretty. Our room was in the "basement" but it faced the garden and still got plenty of daylight. Breakfast was lovely. The only downside was seeing some homeless people further down the street, and a group of men drinking alcohol. Not something that's the hotel's fault though. I still walked down there at night, but it felt a bit unsafe.

Accueil très chaleureux. Nous sommes arrivés en provenance du Canada et ils nous ont accueilli à 9:00 avec un déjeuner et ont gardé nos valises vu que la chambre n’était pas prête. Café, eau et salle disponible pour y manger (avec notre nourriture) Notre départ était très tôt et ils nous ont préparé une assiette avec quelques trucs pour manger. Air climatisé très fonctionnel! Pas de réfrigérateur, mais il y a une épicerie à 5 minutes de marche avec un comptoir de prêt à manger. (Pinco Dolce) Chinese store près de l’épicerie. Stationnement disponible à 12 euros par jour très pratique. Juste à côté et on peut entrer et sortir à notre guise.

We stayed for nine days. We received a very warm welcome and were given lots of information about places to visit. The room we had was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was excellent and the staff were very attentive and friendy. We had a hire car and it was a relief to be able to park it somewhere safe & convenient. The hotel is a 40 minute walk to the main tourist attractions in Porto. Generally it is an excellent place to stay.

Frühstück war gut. Es gibt auch einen Wäscheaum mit Möglichkeit kostenlos eine Waschmaschine, sowie Trockner zu nutzen bzw die Wösche aufzuhängen. Zimmer war sauber und groß genug. Jedoch hat es im Zimmer extrem schlecht gerochen. Wir haben vermutet, dass die Dusch(trasse) spritzt oder ausläuft. Das Hotel hat extra gereinigt und einen Entfeuchter aufgestellt, hat leider nicht komplett geholfen. Und das wirklich schnell, obwohl es Sonntags war.

La habitación que nos dieron era húmeda y fría, seguramente que en verano es más agradable pero para el mes de octubre es muy húmeda. Solo tenían 2 habitaciones en el patio interior. Muy buen desayuno. El hotel limpio y cuidado.

We loved our stay at this beautiful property. The staff were exceptionally helpful, with great suggestions on local attractions, dining etc. The room was lovely and the breakfast was super. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.

Bo Alvares var en fin plass å bo i byen og var innen gangavstand til store deler av stedene vi ønsket å se. I resepsjonen ble vi tatt godt imot og fikk mange gode tips til hva vi burde se under oppholdet. Rommet var rent og pent, men sengen var ganske hard, Både meg og fruen våknet hver morgen og var sår grunnet dette. Frokosten var ganske god.

We asked for a quiet room and were given a garden room which was very quiet. Hotel building is modern, stylish and clean. Marta on reception is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Our room was nice, wifi was good, bed comfy, shower good. It is in a great location to walk around Porto and to the river. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

All excellent - from stuff that give us basic info and for stuff that organise breakfast. All 5+ Only location for room in basemant - really bad. Noise, can not open window because lot of cars drive there fast. If come to Porto will again come here but try sleep on second floor.

Very nice hotel, not far for all the attractions! It is a very busy street so of your room facing the street its very noisy if the windows are open! Breakfast- great! Very accommodating as well. We arrived before check in time and were let into the room early! I recommend!!

Nous avons passe un agreable séjour. La chambre etait sympa mais pas tres bien insonorisee (Chambre sur rue). Nous entendions les gens marcher au dessus de notre chambre. En revanche, le petit dejeuner etait top et le personnel très professionnel. Letablissement est proche des centres d intérêts et station de métro.

Mais établissement sonore, porte de séparation avec la chambre voisine qui n'isole pas du tout du bruit des voisins, plancher qui résonne des pas des occupants de la chambre au-dessus, et chambre sur la rue et non côté jardin comme indiqué sur le site Expedia, avec un traffic automobile important le matin de bonne heure. La cotation "Exceptionnel" d'Expedia est surévaluée. Petit déjeuner nickel et personnel aimable. Déçu par le manque de calme.

The property is very close to all the attractions. Everything is walkable. Staff were very welcoming, especially Sofia who was extremely patient and knowledgeable of the area. Excellent breakfast to start your day. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff were helpful and courteous. The challenge for me was the limited orden e of staff. After 5 there is nobody around. The receptionist responds if you send an email about a specific concern or question but you do lot have the associated services Such as access to information, getting a taxi, etc. there’s nobody.

Excellent séjour à Porto! Nous avons été tres bien accueillis par Joanna, à la fois très professionnelle et d'une authentique gentillesse. Les deux chambres étaient d'une propreté irréprochable, literie très confortable et décoration soignée. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le buffet du petit déjeuner, mention spéciale pour les oeufs brouillés et la salade de fruits maison. Bravo!

Accueil très chaleureux. Nous sommes arrivés en provenance du Canada et ils nous ont accueilli à 9:00 avec un déjeuner et ont gardé nos valises vu que la chambre n’était pas prête. Café, eau et salle disponible pour y manger (avec notre nourriture) Notre départ était très tôt et ils nous ont préparé une assiette avec quelques trucs pour manger. Air climatisé très fonctionnel! Pas de réfrigérateur, mais il y a une épicerie à 5 minutes de marche avec un comptoir de prêt à manger. (Pinco Dolce) Chinese store près de l’épicerie. Stationnement disponible à 12 euros par jour très pratique. Juste à côté et on peut entrer et sortir à notre guise.

The staff were super welcoming and helpful! The location is convenient to the metro to the airport, and close to the busy areas of Porto, with just enough distance to be quiet and relaxing. The room has a lovely balcony and (important for the summer!) great AC! Also, the breakfast spread is lovely with plenty of options beyond bread & jam -- fresh juice, fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereal, eggs, cold cuts, etc.

Jag behövde checka in tidigare och receptionspersonen var väldigt vänlig och tog hand om min väska tidigare än check in tiden och sedan meddelade mig att rummet var redo. Dessutom behövde jag en tidig frukost för att jag skulle åka på en utflykt och kökspersonalen var väldigt hjälpsam med att förberedda smörgåsar att ta med mig innan frukosttiden hade börjat. Hotellet ligger på en fin gata, lite långt bort från Ribeira om du vill promenera dit och är inte van vid att promenera upp och ner för backar.

Outside of the old part of Porto, but walkable although it is really uphill from the river. The Metro was a short walk away, with a station on the south bank of the Douro. Marla, on the front desk, was very helpful with transit and restaurant recommendations.

Very nice hotel, not far for all the attractions! It is a very busy street so of your room facing the street its very noisy if the windows are open! Breakfast- great! Very accommodating as well. We arrived before check in time and were let into the room early! I recommend!!

We had a wonderful time in Porto and loved the hotel which is so conveniently situated between Lapa and Trindade metro stations, Trindade being a hub, so handy for going to many places.

Nous avons passe un agreable séjour. La chambre etait sympa mais pas tres bien insonorisee (Chambre sur rue). Nous entendions les gens marcher au dessus de notre chambre. En revanche, le petit dejeuner etait top et le personnel très professionnel. Letablissement est proche des centres d intérêts et station de métro.

We stayed for nine days. We received a very warm welcome and were given lots of information about places to visit. The room we had was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was excellent and the staff were very attentive and friendy. We had a hire car and it was a relief to be able to park it somewhere safe & convenient. The hotel is a 40 minute walk to the main tourist attractions in Porto. Generally it is an excellent place to stay.

The property is very close to all the attractions. Everything is walkable. Staff were very welcoming, especially Sofia who was extremely patient and knowledgeable of the area. Excellent breakfast to start your day. Would definitely stay here again.

We asked for a quiet room and were given a garden room which was very quiet. Hotel building is modern, stylish and clean. Marta on reception is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Our room was nice, wifi was good, bed comfy, shower good. It is in a great location to walk around Porto and to the river. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Absence totale d'insonorisation : on entend les voitures rouler comme si la fenêtre était ouverte et nos voisins de chambre quand ils parlent et toussent, les personnes qui descendent l'escalier... Ce qui ne permet pas du tout un séjour reposant. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment médiocre et de piètre qualité, cela dénote pour cet établissement qui se veut de standing élevé. A noter que le parking se situe à 5min à pied pour 12€ la journée et qu'il n'est possible d'accéder à sa voiture qu'à des horaires fixes (pas d'automate, c'est une personne qui gère le parking). Thé et café en self service au rez de chaussée. La personne de l'accueil est serviable et aidante. En résumé, beaucoup trop cher pour une nuit peu reposante et un petit déjeuner de mauvaise qualité.

This place is “quirky”- a little hard to find as there is minimal signage out front and it is very unimpressive from the street. However inside it’s a wonderful surprise. Spacious and very clean rooms, quiet, very good continental breakfast and very helpful staff. Although be cautious as the front desk is not maned at all times. (We locked ourselves out of the room and there was nobody at the desk , fortunately we found a housekeeper who had access.) There is even a washer and dryer for use free of charge.it is not in the historic area but within walking distance of the old city and plenty of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed it our stay despite the quirkiness and would highly recommend.
