Wunderbare Anlage direkt am Meer. Verbindung mit dem öffentlichen Bus ( pünktlich regelmäßig) sowohl in die Stadt als auch zum Flughafen sehr bequem. Ebenso eine Autovermietung direkt gegenüber der Anlage sowie unmittelbare Parkmöglichkeit auf der Anlage. Anlage schön angelegt; dezent und geschickt angeordnete Bungalows so dass man viel Privatsphäre hat

Me, my wife, and our five months old son had a wonderful stay at Knossos. We stayed in a suite with sea view, which was beautiful and spacious, and included a beach cabana, which is convenient when travelling with an infant to avoid sun exposure while playing at the beach. The hotel area is beautiful and quiet, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent with a variety of local dishes in addition to more generic choices. And finally, all of the staff (receptionists, waitresses, cleaners…) were so kind, attentive, and accommodating, and they made us feel welcome and safe. Thank you!

Warm, friendly welcome. This luxury hotel caters to everyone, even our furry babies. It has an excellent day spa, similar to or even better than Crown Day Spa in Melbourne. Breakfast is included. There are two swimming pools, a gym, and sunbeds on a private beach. Amazing ocean views and close to town. Highly recommended for families and couples but perhaps not the first option for solo travellers.

The hotel is very well situated on the beach and has two very good restaurants. The highlight for us all were the charming staff and we enjoyed our few days very much. You do get used to planes flying quite low overhead. The hotel is freshly painted and there is a gym and a well appointed spa.

Una tranquilidad absoluta, playa excelente, servicio y calidad de las comidas una maravilla, servicio de SAP y sobre todo de Dalia muy a la altura y profesional! Solo dos detalles negativos: servicio de camareros en la playa ( poco simpáticos y no pasan por la zona de cabañas ) y del restaurante Si La ( por favor, evitarlo: lentitud, poco amabidad y la calidad de comida muy, pero muy mala, no tiene que ver con el restaurante principal !): Agradecimiento especial al Director del Hotel y de la recepción encabezada por Nino!

The resort was just amazing with beautiful white buildings and flowered pathways! We had a private Villa with a private pool and fabulous room service! The private restaurants on the resort was delicious! Highly recommended!

Pros: Nice people and kind staff. The location is very quiet (although perhaps a little too quiet). The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Cons: On our first night, we encountered four massive cockroaches in the room. These insects were about the size of my thumb and were flying. One even came close to climbing on my wife’s head during the night. We promptly requested another room, which meant that at 1 a.m. on our first night, we had to call and get a different room. So, after unpacking, we had to pack everything back up, only to unpack again. It was a disappointing start to our stay. However, once we were in the new room, we didn’t encounter any more roaches. Unfortunately, we overheard someone in another room going through a similar experience. General: This resort is not the place to stay if you’re looking for nightlife. However, it’s conveniently located (just a 10-minute drive) to some nice outdoor beach bars and has a beautiful view of the private beach and water.

Je ne suis généralement pas fan des resort mais pour le coup j’ai été plus que satisfaite ! Grand mais assez bien agencé et donne l’impression d’être dans un petit village avec ses infrastructures pittoresques. Plusieurs restaurants avec un buffet qui varie chaque soir. Une plage suffisament grande et propre et pas besoin d’apporter vos serviettes ils vous les fourniront dans la chambre. En parlant de la chambre… juste incroyable ! Spacieuse et disposant de tout ce qu’il faut pour se sentir comme à la maison. Rien à redire sur la propreté (je suis une grande maniaque) En fait tout l’hôtel est propre ! Le personnel est aux petits soin, accueil plus que sublime. Et c’est ce qui m’a le plus touché ! De la réception en passant par le spa ! Des restaurant à la plage ! Ils s’assureront tjrs que vous allez bien et toujours avec un sourire chaleureux! Ne soyez pas aigri ça ne sert à rien !! En résumé ( j’ai trop de chose à dire) Parenthèse incroyable lorsqu on recherche de la tranquillité et de la vrai détente ! N’hésite pas !

L'hôtel principal est magnifique...sauf que nous étions logés dans un chambre soit disant confort dans une annexe en face du bâtiment principal avec une rue très passante à traverser à chaque fois que nous devions aller dans l'hôtel principal pour petit déjeuner ou dîner ou tout simplement aller sur la plage privée..quant au service dans les chambres,ceci laisse à désirer pour un 5 étoiles ..ménage limite , obligé d'aller réclamer à la réception tous les jours soit des serviettes soit la bouteille d'eau à laquelle nous avions droit...très déçu par rapport au prix payé... à part ceci le service restauration et le personnel étaient parfaits...la nourriture variée et excellente et le personnel très agréable.

Was nice many families. Hotel is nicer to the all inclusive guests. Also I registered 3 complaints with the front desk and nothing was done to correct it. After I complained they said they would get back to me via phone / email within 2 days has been over 10 days and no one has contacted me. Also let me add I called to follow up and got the same line someone will be in touch. My main issue was the ants invading my room through cracks in the baseboards and tile in the bathroom area.

Very dirty , mold in the shower. Dan had rust and an inch of dust on it. Table in our room was filled with coffee stains. Whole resort smelled like frying oil. I didn’t not stay - left shortly after check in. Awaiting refund

Propriedade de frente para o mar, não são as praias mais belas com água azul e pedras brancas. Pelo contrário, tinha muitas algas mortas na areia que a equipe do hotel poderia limpar. No último dia o quarto não foi limpo adequadamente. O café da manhã não tem bebidas a disposição, ou seja, não tem variedades de bebidas quentes e sucos. Pelo nível do hotel poderia ter itens para usar na banheira como sais de banho e espuma. A equipe maravilhosa e muito atenciosa. Chegamos muito tarde e recebemos um lanchinho, foi muito gentil, o que não é uma surpresa. Os gregos são maravilhosos. Esses são apenas alguns detalhes para tornar a experiência ainda melhor. O hotel é maravilhoso e eu certamente voltaria.

Pros: Nice people and kind staff. The location is very quiet (although perhaps a little too quiet). The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Cons: On our first night, we encountered four massive cockroaches in the room. These insects were about the size of my thumb and were flying. One even came close to climbing on my wife’s head during the night. We promptly requested another room, which meant that at 1 a.m. on our first night, we had to call and get a different room. So, after unpacking, we had to pack everything back up, only to unpack again. It was a disappointing start to our stay. However, once we were in the new room, we didn’t encounter any more roaches. Unfortunately, we overheard someone in another room going through a similar experience. General: This resort is not the place to stay if you’re looking for nightlife. However, it’s conveniently located (just a 10-minute drive) to some nice outdoor beach bars and has a beautiful view of the private beach and water.

Me, my wife, and our five months old son had a wonderful stay at Knossos. We stayed in a suite with sea view, which was beautiful and spacious, and included a beach cabana, which is convenient when travelling with an infant to avoid sun exposure while playing at the beach. The hotel area is beautiful and quiet, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent with a variety of local dishes in addition to more generic choices. And finally, all of the staff (receptionists, waitresses, cleaners…) were so kind, attentive, and accommodating, and they made us feel welcome and safe. Thank you!

This place is beautiful with the traditional all white structures with nice stone walkways with great landscaping. The staff at this hotel are the best at reception Manos, in dining Niki and Anastasia just to name few, This was second stay and they put us in our same fabulous room which overlooked the beach with private sitting area, separate sunbathing area with chaises and outside shower. Got sick and they arranged for doctor to meet in room, the juggled things to extend us for two more nights in the middle of high season.The only thing is our room needs a little renovation the laminate flooring edges were peeling and deck paint flaking off showing its time for a refresh. The only other thing is in the airport landing path so planes fly in all day and night which sometimes is annoying.That all said without hesitation we will gladly go back to see George and his dog Hermes again.

Knosso beach bungalow was a nice way to end our 10 th anniversary vacation. The staff was kind the buffet was very tasteful but what I like the most was the view looking over the sea at the mountains and the fact that our private heated pool made this place a little gold mind. Well there’s nothing little about this place it’s huge but beautiful. I also liked you have your on private cabana on the beach. The grounds of Knossos is beautiful. Also if you feel like you want to dress up a little they do have a elegant restaurant you could try on the grounds too. Whether it’s a long stay or a weekend stay you will love your stay here. Oh and the night pictures are just as beautiful as the pictures in the day. We had a great week.

Was nice many families. Hotel is nicer to the all inclusive guests. Also I registered 3 complaints with the front desk and nothing was done to correct it. After I complained they said they would get back to me via phone / email within 2 days has been over 10 days and no one has contacted me. Also let me add I called to follow up and got the same line someone will be in touch. My main issue was the ants invading my room through cracks in the baseboards and tile in the bathroom area.

The Knossos Bungalow Beach Hotel is a beautiful hotel with a great location. The staff at the beach and restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The menus at both restaurants are good, but not exciting enough to have lunch or dinner there every day. The beach snack bar is a good alternative, but the variety is also quite limited. The laminate flooring in the rooms and the built-in closets were worn out and definitely in need of renovation. The price of the rooms is slightly higher than the offered quality. Overall, it was a nice hotel and a beautiful vacation.

Amazing stay, with my family of 4. Beautiful and quaint hotel, as close to the beach as you can get. We had a gorgeous suite with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. The breakfast was a lovely spread. We’ll be back at this spot!

Some of the reviews here must be fake. We felt totally misled by the information on this website. First of all, the property and rooms don't match the photos at all. The photos make everything look glistening and new, when in reality the entire property was quite run-down: paint was peeling, stairs were rickety, metal pillars were rusty. The photos showed loungers and cabanas spread all across the beach when in reality they were all crammed in one corner of the beach. Second, the website quoted a price in Canadian $ but then we were charged the same amount in EUR, which increased the price by 50%. This was very deceptive. When we arrived we were put in a split level room where the air conditioner on the upper level with the bed was broken. So the lower level was cold but the sleeping level was very warm. We called the front desk and were told that they knew it was broken and it was scheduled to be fixed after our stay. I complained and after the concierge spoke to the manager, we were moved to another room - which was much smaller and older than the one we booked. When we complained aabout this, we were told it is in the same category and, therefore, the same price as the one we booked. There was nothing luxurious about this resort, especially for the price. It felt like the owners had completely neglected it. Very disappointed.

We had an amazing time in the hotel. Thanks to all the staff for making it great. The facilities are wonderful. The views are outstanding, especially at night. I love the cabanas at the beach. They have different foods each night in the buffet restaurants. The food is great with a wide range to suit everyone. Feels everything in the hotel is done with thought, and care for the well-being of the guests. We checked in really late at night with Manus at the desk to assist us with the check-in. He welcomed us with warm smile. He was super helpful and gave us something to eat knowing we came to the hotel after a long flight. That was a warm welcome. We entered the room with amazing views at the balcony. They have made the holiday and the whole experience special for me and my partner. Thank you again!

El alojamiento estuvo bastante bien, a excepción del check in que se demoró en exceso y en principio nos alojaron en una habitación decepcionante para la categoría de 5 estrellas, pero luego nos cambiaron muy amablemente a otra habitación bastante mejor y acogedora. Por lo demás, contentos. Gracias por la atención prestada. Saludos.

Nous avons passe un tres bon sejour en famille. Le room service est actif, et l endroit magnifique. Le personnel est tres présent, d'une grande gentillesse et à l'écoute. Nous remercions tout particulièrement Anastasia, pour le petit dejeuner. Elle a été bienveillante et attentionnée aupres de notre fils. Si je dois revenir sur Heraklion, je reviendrai dans cet établissement.

The private beach and sun beds are nice, beach bar and service are nice as well. There is nothing to do outside of the resort unless to take a taxi( 30 euros one way)to go to Heraklion city center

Sehr charmanter Beach Flair, moderne Einrichtung, aber teilweise nicht hochwertig oder leicht beschädigt. Super nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal! Das Essen war sehr lecker, es gab auch ausgewählte vegetarische/vegane Gerichte am Buffet. Flugzeuge fliegen über den Strand hinweg, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen und entspannten Urlaub dort.

Super convenient to the airport and ports. The hotel felt very high end and the accommodations were spacious and clean. The food was excellent, although Swell was a better restaurant than Si La. The room came with a stocked mini bar that was complementary and you could order anything you wanted from their mobile app and it would arrive within minutes. My wife and I had an awesome time there and would highly recommend this property!

This was sold to us as all inclusive. When we arrived at the resort we were informed that almost everything that we were expecting to be inclusive was in fact not and that we were not even welcome to use or buy from any of the restaurants on site except the one buffet with limited hours. One of the rooms never rec'd a complimentary wine bottle, nor were mini fridges refilled. We had to carry all of the luggage to and from the rooms. Our water was never once even slightly warm in either room so there were frigidly cold showers. Anytime we used the shower or bathtub the marble floors became drenched because both leaked very badly-we had to use all our towels on the mess and never rec'd more. We had to go offsite to find food and the area outside the resort was very poor and rundown. We did not feel safe there at all. We were so miserable at this resort. The hotel said you do not get inclusive stuff unless your stay is 5 days or more. Our stay was 2 nights because we were island hopping a lot. Even the people that did get the "inclusive" status only got 2 vouchers a piece for 5 days of needing meals. This is complete false advertising in order to charge a false premium. It is a con.
This was sold to us as all inclusive. When we arrived at the resort we were informed that almost everything that we were expecting to be inclusive was in fact not and that we were not even welcome to use or buy from any of the restaurants on site except the one buffet with limited hours. One of the rooms never rec'd a complimentary wine bottle, nor were mini fridges refilled. We had to carry all of the luggage to and from the rooms. Our water was never once even slightly warm in either room so there were frigidly cold showers. Anytime we used the shower or bathtub the marble floors became drenched because both leaked very badly-we had to use all our towels on the mess and never rec'd more. We had an amazing time in the hotel. Thanks to all the staff for making it great. The facilities are wonderful. The views are outstanding, especially at night. I love the cabanas at the beach. They have different foods each night in the buffet restaurants. The food is great with a wide range to suit everyone. Feels everything in the hotel is done with thought, and care for the well-being of the guests. We checked in really late at night with Manus at the desk to assist us with the check-in. He welcomed us with warm smile. He was super helpful and gave us something to eat knowing we came to the hotel after a long flight. That was a warm welcome. We entered the room with amazing views at the balcony. They have made the holiday and the whole experience special for me and my partner. Thank you again!

Una tranquilidad absoluta, playa excelente, servicio y calidad de las comidas una maravilla, servicio de SAP y sobre todo de Dalia muy a la altura y profesional! Solo dos detalles negativos: servicio de camareros en la playa ( poco simpáticos y no pasan por la zona de cabañas ) y del restaurante Si La ( por favor, evitarlo: lentitud, poco amabidad y la calidad de comida muy, pero muy mala, no tiene que ver con el restaurante principal !): Agradecimiento especial al Director del Hotel y de la recepción encabezada por Nino!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich mit frisch gepressten Orangensaft begrüßt und bekamen ein tolles Zimmer mit Meerblick. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr geräumig. Bei Fragen konnte man jederzeit über einen Chat oder natürlich persönlich Kontakt aufnehmen und es wurde uns immer sofort geholfen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Jeden Tag gab es viel Abwechslung und die Qualität der Lebensmittel war sehr hoch. Wir wurden sehr positiv überrascht!

We were upgraded to a bungalow upon arrival but couldn’t find the cabana reserved for it anywhere on the beach. The food was good at the buffet. We like to eat outside, but we were overwhelmed by the amount of cigarette smoke at almost every meal.

The Free WiFi is almost inexistent in the room. The breakfast & dinner at the main restaurant is very good but the lunch at SiLa is not good at all. The concierge has no idea about the points of interest in the area.

Super convenient to the airport and ports. The hotel felt very high end and the accommodations were spacious and clean. The food was excellent, although Swell was a better restaurant than Si La. The room came with a stocked mini bar that was complementary and you could order anything you wanted from their mobile app and it would arrive within minutes. My wife and I had an awesome time there and would highly recommend this property!
