Hotellet har en god placering i forhold til det gamle centrum og til floden for enden af hotellets gade, hvor man i øvrigt også kan hoppe i vandet og lade sig flyde med, med strømmen. Til en sådan “vand tur” kan man købe specielle opbevaringstasker til ens egendele forskellige steder i nærheden. Badesko anbefales. Hotellet er placeret ved et lidt hektisk vejkryds, men dog i en lille gade. Af og pålæsning er lidt vanskelig, men kan dog lade sig gøre. Der er trapper op til hotelreceptionen, samt trapper til de øverste værelser. Men elevator til de mellemliggende etager. Trapperne er en udfordring i forhold til bagage! Receptionen er lille. Personalet vil gerne hjælpe, men virker dog pressede og “korte for hovedet”. Det var dejligt at blive tilbudt en kold vand ved ankomsten. Morgenmaden spises i forlængelse af receptionen. Spisestedet er meget småt, men fungerede fint og maden var god. Hotellet er af ældre dato, og ikke helt opdateret. Møblerne på værelset var meget slidte, men badeværelset var nyt og fungerede fint. Perfect location for buses and trams right outside. A chemist just opposite sign can be seen from hotel. Small but good choices for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. The free Basel card is awesome. Free travel on all the all public transport, and big discounts at most of the major museums etc. There is a lift but there are still about 4 stairs to go up with luggage

Mein (Budget-)Einzelzimmer war zwar recht klein. Winzig, um genau zu sein. Aber trotzdem habe ich mich hier sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Empfang war bereits mega freundlich. Spontan wurde mir mit einem Stromadapter ausgeholfen. Kaffee, Obst und Croissants gibt es gratis in der Lobby. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls großartig. 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis in die Altstadt. Perfekt! Jederzeit wieder!

Prettig verblijf gehad . Vriendelijk ontvangst gehad boj de receptie. Helaas geen airco op de kamer alleen een ventilator. Hierdoor warme nachten op de kamer gehad en niet zo best geslapen !! Met de tram aan de overkant binnen enkele minuten in het centrum. Bij receptie een Basel card ontvangen waardoor het openbaar vervoer gratis is en korting op musea.

Excellent location, clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable and room was much larger than we anticipated. Bettina checked us in and she was delightful. We left luggage at desk a few hours before check-in, and it was taken to our rooms before we returned. The hot beverages and croissants were also a pleasant surprise.

Positiv: - Gute Anbindung an die Tram. - Erhalt der BaselCard durch das Hotel. - Täglich offener Küchenbereich, um z.B. Kaffee oder Tee zu machen. Negativ: - Keine WLAN in unserem Zimmer (3. Stock) - Erhalt der BaselCard hätte schon vor der Ankunft mitgeteilt werden können, so hätten wir uns den Extra-Kauf der Tageskarten sparen können.

Quick stay following a cruise. Supposed to stay two days it our airline changed the schedule so only one night stay. Unfortunately, didn’t know of the flight change so lost a full days charge $$$$$$ Without AC and just a fan, wow, stuffy. Opening windows you have a lot of street noise. Again, the temperature was unusually hot! The on facility restaurant is very good!

We had just finished up a river cruise and, since we had never been to Basel, we decided to spend a few days there. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews and Hotel Restaurant Resslirytti seemed like a great choice. Boy, do I love it when I'm right. The gentleman working the front desk ( Unfortunately I lost his name ) was beyond helpful. Before we even went to our room, he spread out a map and circled points of interest, tram and bus stops and good local restaurants. The room itself was very clean, modern and well supplied with everything you might need. The location is great too. You walk across the street and take the #2 tram that goes over the bridge right into historical Basel. Going back is just as easy. A transit pass is provided for each guest that's good for the length of your stay, although no one ever asked to see it. If you miss one tram, don't worry, another one will show up in a few minutes! The Italian restaurant, not affiliated with the hotel, is very good. I highly recommend the pizza. They use a brick oven that's wood fired. You can enter the restaurant just before the hotel lobby. I would absolutely stay at the Hotel Restaurant Resslirytti if we ever visit Basel again!

Good hotel located very close to everything. Big room, comfy bed with clean linens. The pillows weren't good enough for me. No possibility for breakfast, but they offer one croissant and coffee per person. There is a pizzeria in the same building. Wi-Fi has problems. The carpet in the room I've had needs to be changed. One person at reception informed me that the both the carpet on the entire hotel will be changed and the Wi-Fi will be fixed because they are aware of these problems. Overall, a good hotel. I will book again.

Room was spacious and clean. Front desk crew so helpful as our luggage was delayed and arrived next day. Hotel delivered to our door and allowed a delayed checkout so we could get a shower and change of clothes in before departing! Also the adjoining restaurant was wonderful. Very festive decorations there and delicious food!

Das Zimmer war geräumig, ruhig und ein modernes Bad mit Dusche war perfekt! Super war die bequeme Matratze und der große Schrank! Das WLAN hat prima funktioniert! Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit! Top! Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist in Sichtweite - tolle Lage!

Quick stay following a cruise. Supposed to stay two days it our airline changed the schedule so only one night stay. Unfortunately, didn’t know of the flight change so lost a full days charge $$$$$$ Without AC and just a fan, wow, stuffy. Opening windows you have a lot of street noise. We had just finished up a river cruise and, since we had never been to Basel, we decided to spend a few days there. A transit pass is provided for each guest that's good for the length of your stay, although no one ever asked to see it. If you miss one tram, don't worry, another one will show up in a few minutes! The Italian restaurant, not affiliated with the hotel, is very good. I highly recommend the pizza. They use a brick oven that's wood fired. You can enter the restaurant just before the hotel lobby. Room was spacious and clean. Front desk crew so helpful as our luggage was delayed and arrived next day. Hotel delivered to our door and allowed a delayed checkout so we could get a shower and change of clothes in before departing! Also the adjoining restaurant was wonderful. Very festive decorations there and delicious food!

We were warmly welcomed by Nichole and Sabrina! Later David helped us to solve a travel issue and went the “extra mile” in doing so. Outstanding customer service by him. Perfect location for buses and trams right outside. A chemist just opposite sign can be seen from hotel. Small but good choices for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. The free Basel card is awesome. Free travel on all the all public transport, and big discounts at most of the major museums etc. There is a lift but there are still about 4 stairs to go up with luggage

Mein (Budget-)Einzelzimmer war zwar recht klein. Winzig, um genau zu sein. Aber trotzdem habe ich mich hier sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Empfang war bereits mega freundlich. Spontan wurde mir mit einem Stromadapter ausgeholfen. Kaffee, Obst und Croissants gibt es gratis in der Lobby. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls großartig. 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis in die Altstadt. Perfekt! Jederzeit wieder!

Good hotel located very close to everything. Big room, comfy bed with clean linens. The pillows weren't good enough for me. No possibility for breakfast, but they offer one croissant and coffee per person. There is a pizzeria in the same building. Wi-Fi has problems. The carpet in the room I've had needs to be changed. One person at reception informed me that the both the carpet on the entire hotel will be changed and the Wi-Fi will be fixed because they are aware of these problems. Overall, a good hotel. I will book again.

This is a small property with about 45 rooms. The room was clean a comfortable. Luca, the young manager, was very nice and and had absolutely the most delicious croissants in the morning! And the cappuccino was phenomenal! Overall a wonderful experience. Also, the restaurant on site was warm and welcoming! The have a wonderful stone pizza oven and the pissa's we had were wonderful.

The room was a nice size and so was the bathroom It did have an elevator but you had to go up a flight of stairs to your room. We just went up one floor to make it easier to come down with heavy luggage
