Great hotel for our week long vacation! - Service was excellent and the front desk was very friendly. - The rooms were slightly outdated, but we liked that our King suite had a separation area. It was a great room if you have kids! - Breakfast was pretty good in comparison to other hotels we’ve stayed at. Tons of space to eat and it wasn’t overly crowded. - The surrounding areas were very convenient to the highway and nearby stores, restaurants, etc. They even have a trail nearby, which was enjoyable to walk through. - The pool and splash pad was a big hit for my 3 year old. However, it can get quite busy during peek hours. Overall, it was a great experience!

We came with another family. We had two rooms. The problem is that there wasn't a place where we could have hanged out... no terrace outside and no lounge area inside unless u go to the restaurant beside the lobby. The Lobby area was not a good place to be as it was small and alot of traffic there. Would be nice if there was some lounge area or even an outdoor place to just hang out...with tables and chairs.

To elevator flooring was all torn,but maybe still being fixed. Floors around elevator constantly wet from people using the pool-hazard for falls and slippage. Staff was great and pleasant. Plenty of well-lit parking. Great option for breakfast .

Newer hotel, comfy beds and a big breakfast with options. Breakfast is very busy and a bit chaotic. Pool is rather small. Lots of sports teams stay here, so the pool is always crazy. No hot tub.

We were there for an overnight for my son's birthday before we flew out the next morning.The front desk staff were wonderful. Super friendly and kind. Breakfast was good. My young kids chose the hotel for the water slide and pool. They had a blast. I will say the chlorine levels in the pool were extreme. We all had red eyes and my swimsuit was ruined from it. We still had a great time but the chlorine was a bit much! We all had a lovely time. I would still recommend the hotel. Just maybe it would be a good idea to check those levels! 😬

The reason for our stay was to celebdate our grandaughtrr's 10 th birthday. We chose it for the waterslide and it definitely ticked all the boxes. Dinner was delicious and our waitress was absolutely lovely. The hotel is clean and the staff are very courteous. We enjoyed our stay

Free parking, small but serviceable gym and pool, free breakfast hours great, 2 queen bedroom was large and comfortable. Could still hear neighbours. Used their coin laundry machines- dryer not very effective. Location in a business park area so limited dining out options but close to downtown Halifax via bridge. Attentive staff. Would stay again.

The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. Nothing had been dusted or cleaned on the bedside table for quite some time. The toilet seat kept sliding off to the left. When showering, the drain was so clogged, that the shower was more like a bath unfortunately, as the water was very, very slow to drain. It made me feel gross and unclean. I'm commenting only because it was likely clogged like this for a very long time and no action to clean/fix it was taken. Reporting it to the front desk was met with disinterest. She did not know what I meant by "drain", she was confused so I said the shower didn't work well, but she still said nothing. So maybe it was a language barrier thing. I will assume that it won't be fixed for the next traveller either. Safe travels everyone!

Found old KFC take out and coleslaw in the fridge in my room, a sock and bottle cap under the bed. Aside from that, the room was clean and in good condition. Staff was super friendly!

Cons: Our room on 2nd floor faced a brick wall/structure where humming noise from what we assumed to be an industrial fan or air conditioning unit appeared to be originating from (trouble sleeping until got used to the sound or it shut off). Large power lines overhead weren't appealing either. Location in Commercial / industrial park area - but amenities within short driving distance. Pros: Staff courteous and attentive. Room clean. Breakfest ok. Plenty of parking spaces.

The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The only complaint is that they removed coffer makers in the rooms and installed a coffee machine 24/7 in the lobby with many choices. Also they removed sofas from two queen bed rooms claimin all their sofasa are stops-beds. Need at least regular sofa or additionalchairs.

It was okay. Really enjoyed the breakfast items and area; friendly staff. Would have been better if: we could see anything out the window (all we could see was a wall); there was a coffee maker in the room (first hotel I’ve not had one); if there was a table and some chairs; if there had been enough light to see what we were doing. Thankfully we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but these are just things we’ve come to expect with every hotel stay for the same price

So noisy hardly got any sleep. A/C was so incredibly noisy but it was too hot to shut it off. Also had a herd of elephants in the room above us. Absolutely no sound proofing in this hotel. The view out our window was a solid brick wall. You know you’ll get the worst room booking through Expedia.

We were very appreciative of the night clerk, Dave when we arrived on a later flight, rented a car and got lost trying to get to the hotel. When i called for help with directions, he stayed on our phone until we arrived. Because it was so late by this time, he provided us with light snacks and water. My husband is diabetic and we were very much appreciative of his attentions. Thanks Dave!

My husband and two kids booked there to enjoy our children’s birthday. It’s what the chose to do, go to a hotel with a waterslide. We were on a floor with what we think was a minor hockey team. We have no issue with that but we do have an issue with the whole team running up and down the hallway for 2 hours (9:30-11:30), constant door slamming (leaving the tab in the door and the door hitting it) this happens probably 100 times and then when the parents returned they stayed in the hallway right by our room yelling and laughing for over an hour. We called the front desk 3 times for them to contain them into their rooms and that didn’t happen until 11:30 about 3 hours after it all began. If it hadn’t been for our kids already sleeping we would have packed up and left. They did offer us another room but our kids were already asleep and if we were gonna pack the room up it was gonna be only when we were leaving! My husband and I barely slept! Was not enjoyable!

service was great! very friendly staff. overall just ok hotel, good for a night or two. the one thing i will say is one of the bartenders at the restaurant was quite rude to one of us, we were going to just take a look at the drink menu and come back. my friend was wearing a bathing suit top and her pants, as we were coming back from the pool. one of the female bartenders said quite rudely that she’d need to put a top on to come in. and i completely understand that, it’s just the way she said it and gave us dirty looks when we were just trying to get a quick look at the drinks they had and we were on our way, but the way she said it made us not go to the restaurant or order any drinks after!

My stay was great. Only small thing in the room is that the TV did not rotate to watch from the bed ( very minor detail) staff were great and breakfast was good, it could have had bacon and sausage and maybe variety of eggs( boiled, fried etc…)

Comfortable beds, nice bedding and towels. Breakfast was a bit of a zoo but plenty of choice. My husband had to empty coffee maker for guests as it stopped working and staff were not attending to it. House keeping did not make our beds and we were there for two nights.

This hotel was very pleasant to stay in. The room was a generous size, clean and comfortable. The staff were very good though the people in the Trendz restaurant varied from excellent to not very good. The breakfast was very good, and excellent choices. It is in an industrial area and there is not much scope for walking anywhere. There are restaurants close by and it it is easy to get to the main roads.

The stay was booked with the understanding restaurant and lounge is open as there is little else around there. Showed up oh sorry its closed because of low occupancy. Didnt stop you from charging full price. The room was nice.

This is a great hotel, convenient location for touring Nova Scotia and quite comfortable. We had an odd room, however. There was a wall three feet outside our window, so no view. And the floor was quite uneven. Aside from these two things, the room and hotel were great. Good breakfast but we don't recommend the restaurant for dinner. Poor quality food there - chowder was old and way too salty, and the staff acknowledged that others had complained but they sold it anyhow. Ugh.

My only issue was with thr Trendz Reatautant. Had placed our order around 7.30 and around 8.45 they came and told us they had no wings left and it was wing night. All other tables gor served but because ours was a bigger table we never got any. Then they still charged us for our drinks with a discount tho. Then asked if we wantes to have the kids meals while the adults had nothing.

Breakfast was not good. No cooked oatmeal, no brewed coffee (there was a machine where you pushed a button to get your drink and it mixed hot water with a brown liquid). Very disappointing. The room door didn’t close completely unless you yanked it shut.
