Quality Inn & Suites Plano East - Richardson

Only complaint I have is the area behind property that is used for pet relief. There is ALOT of dog feces left on the ground. This is not only unappealing, as walking through there is close to impossible without stepping on poop, it promotes bacteria growth, health hazards and welcomes other problems. The area sits in between two hotels (Quality Inn and Studio 6), if you have a room looking out to this green space, you cant help but see poop!

Honestly I would give this place a 5 out of 10. I wish they had more things like medicine available or other things like water available that we don’t have to purchase from vending machines. And why have vending machines that ONLY take cash or quarters?! It seems really inconvenient to me. The only thing I liked was housekeeping always cleaning and replacing towels and the trash. The housekeeping staff was always friendly and I loved them! I was in pain all night and the front desk said they didn’t have any painkillers available even for purchase which I would have done. So I had to do Uber eats for 7 eleven and get them.

I am only speaking from My experience. Recently stayed on 5-3 Upon initial inspection of the room, room appeared clean. However, when it came time to shower, there was a foul smelling odor coming from the water pipes. This stayed for the duration of our stay. Normally I bring my own cleaning supplies to disinfect so I can give my child a bath, but I was not even able to do so so. Also the tub did not properly drain while taking a shower so there was standing water until our showers were completed. The carpets and fabric couches could use a deep cleaning. We don’t walk barefoot on hotel floors anyway but I have sensitive skin and can tell when surfaces are not clean. The second morning into our trip, there were very small ants crawling on the computer table. We left no food out, and I could not source where they were coming from. But after a second disinfection (my doing) they disappeared. While I am appreciative of the on site laundry facilities, a solution needs to be implemented that does not require the guest to drive off site to acquire coins to do laundry. And two dollars per load to wash and dry is kinda expensive. I have stayed at other facilities where laundry facilities are free. Breakfast is just waffles, toast, juice, cereal, muffins, coffee, Juice, and tea. Would not recommend if staying more than one night. But if you’re in a pinch and absolutely need somewhere to stay, bring your own stuff to clean, and some clean linens.

Very well maintained. Very efficient check in. Very good Staff. If you don't have a car, it's a bit of a walk when you get off from the train station. The bus doesn't run as often as well.

It was a good hotel for the price point. Was looking forward to the gym at the hotel but couldnt find it like the website showed. Didnt like how the nonslip stuff in the shower wasnt nonslip at all and the tub was actually less slippery that the nonslip sticker in it! Not safe at all especially with kids.

On our last night there were several car alarms going off in the middle of the night which was disruptive. But overall it was quiet and reliable hotel to stay at while we attended a wedding nearby. The breakfast was very basic but the 24 hour front desk was very convenient.

Gym, although close to highway, never noticed any traffic noise. Was clean and seemed well maintained.

Found a cockroach cockroach babies in my room. Didn’t stay the full second night and ended up couch surfing because I did not want to change rooms and risk exposing my stuff to more cockroaches. Staff was unwilling to refund my second night at the hotel.

Very clean, comfortable room

Our beds were comfortable and clean. However, the bathroom was not clean- dirty around base of toilet, hair in tub. And after I took a shower and the bathroom was steamy, it REEKED of pee- so bad I had to close the door to the bathroom and not go near it. It was nasty. The smell wasn’t apparent before the steam. The breakfast was fantastic! Clean and lots of choices. My kids were VERY happy. There is a McDonalds with a play place within a short walk.

The room smelled of urine, the toilet paper looked like someone spilled mouthwash over it, and just had an overall feeling of questionable cleanliness. Since we checked in at almost 1am after driving over 7 hours, we just wanted to go to bed rather than deal so the the hassle of switching rooms.

Fast trip, friendly staff, clean...

I always like this hotel. It is simple, affordable and clean.

Shower floor towel provided had fresh blood on it. Brought to the front desk and it wasn’t like it was a big deal to them and I never was comp’d for this gross negligence.

Room was spotless and the staff were courteous and kind.

The carpet in our room was wet. The toilet wouldn't flush. We were transferred to another room where the carpets were even wetter (so that we had to wear shoes in the room) and smelled like wet dog. We were charged $65 because I got cosmetics on my pillowcase and towel. I will never stay at a Quality Inn again, especially since this location was supposed to be one of the nicer ones.

Great option for a budget Dallas Richardson Plano stay. Due to road design, using map / navigation assistance is helpful. There is all kinds of food within 5 miles, almost none walkable. Breakfast was decent - eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, bread, yogurt, cereal with juice, coffee and other options. Bed was very comfortable and wall unit kept the temp we set. Our room had no problems except for the folding closet door being misaligned.

I enjoyed staying here. Our room was clean and nice. The only downside that our air conditioning wasn’t working great, and kept turning off. But besides that, I would recommend this hotel!

The property was very clean. Although it was right next to the freeway, the room was quiet. The a/c was adequate but i wish it would have gotten cooler.

Room was close to check in counter and ice machines, there was noise all night.

This property had the best lighting of any hotel room I have experienced. I appreciated the full length mirror as well. The thing that I found peculiar was that they would not allow us to have two extra wash cloths. This policy seemed to be uncalled for!

Rooms arent the prettiest, bur they're clean! Shower makes a very loud high pitched sound and has low water pressure.

The room was spacious, comfortable bed and nice people.

They didn't clean up my room one day of my three days stay

It was good for the price but had some issues. The had three rooms booked. The first night one of our rooms needed two extra blankets. They were told by the front desk that in the entire hotel they only had one extra blanket. They ended up having to borrow off of the extra beds in the other two rooms we had. Then another day (we stayed 5 nights) they asked for extra towels…again they were told they could get ONE from the front desk or they needed to ask the cleaning staff. They asked the cleaning staff and they were rude about it. Last thing is the free continental breakfast. It is very nice for them to offer this but it needs to be a variety of stuff each day…not the exact same items every single day. It’s fine for people that stay a day or two but not for people who stay a little longer. The beds were also very hard but the blankets were very soft and warm for me.

Was a terrible experience . I had booked the hotel for the weekend of my son’s soccer game. My wife was going to show up first to check in. The owner told her that she could not check in for us. And he told us that the room would be none refundable. He refused to help us in any way. Telling her that the person the hotel is under is the person that needs to be there to check in.

Extremely rude front desk associate. He was yelling at us at the check in/out desk. He complained that he had to be doing his literal job and continuously rolled his eyes and complained. He would interrupt when we’d try to talk to him… not professional at all. If he doesn’t want to do his job he shouldn’t be working there.

Unfortunately they’ve charged me 2x50 dollars of deposits they’ve returned one of them and still they’ve got one of the payments which is £37.99 could you tel them to refund my money ASAP please.

Decent hotel just blocks from Plano old town and right next to highway 75. Strong Wifi signal and I was able to work without connection issue.

Great! It was very near historical downtown Plano.

The location has easy access to the interstate, but the area doesn’t look too great. There is nothing in walking distance and even if there were businesses, I wouldn’t walk around at night to go anywhere.

The hotel was within walking distance of downtown restaurants and shops. About 1/2 mile away. There are some restaurants closer but downtown is where we went. The room was clean and staff was friendly. One of the guests was rude by yelling and screaming over a minor incident with staff. Breakfast was ok. Good choices.

Everything went as expected. No problems checking in and Everything was nice. Only complaint we have was the breakfast the next morning. The eggs were yucky, I think they might have been powdered. I would stay again.

I smelled an body odor at the front desk during check-in, and the only people around were myself and the front desk and the smell did not follow me. The breakfast was bland and with no variety and little options. The room was okay. We noticed someone's shirt in between the mattresses of one bed and a toenail in another. The doors to our room and closet still seemed to be dirty.
