Every time we needed into our room we had to go ask someone to open the door as all key cards were not working. Found this has been an issue for a very long time and not corrected. In addition, a pool was advertised and the pool has not been in service for over a year! On top of that, they charged me for parking and for a fridge!? Staff was friendly.

Food around was good. Many options. The amenities of this motel is very poor.

The keys were not working so we had to ask the front desk to let us into our room. The ice machine was not working on the main floor, but the young person made the trek upstairs to get us some ice. The pool was non functional. No restaurant or bar as advertised.

Beaucoup de restaurants aux alentours mais chambre sans micro onde et petit frigidaire donc impossible de garder boissons pu nourriture au frais. Apportez une glacière au besoin.

The pool was not kept up and is not a heated pool as advertised. Limited staff on site.

The property is clean and the location is close to the falls. However, the pool was not in service, no housekeeping service.

Location was good, beds were comfy. But pool had no water in it, and one of the reasons I chose the hotel was because of the pool. Also, hotel restaurant wasn’t operating, not a huge issue as there were others close by, but I chose this hotel as well particularly because I expected to be able to get breakfast downstairs in the mornings. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Misleading listing online. No mention of parking fee ($20) and “incidentals” ($200). Pool wasn’t open during a heat wave.

There were three foot long streaks of dark stain and dark 1-3" coffee color stain spots all over the carpet. The carpet was so old it had worn to the ground in some , and opening at the seams, looked nasty. We found bugs on one bed. The place is filthy. The AC is a small noisy consumer-grade in-wall AC unit which can not keep the room cool no matter what. This place is the dirtiest most outdated place I have ever booked. The photos and descriptions online did not show actual current photos. Not just out-dated, the room, lobby, yard is dirty and seems abandoned by the owners, leaving the nice front desk people to deal with shocked, really upset customers who upon arrival find themselves in a real bind. AGAIN, the front desk and supervisor were truly amazing people, they were short-staffed, but doing their best to really help. The owners to this place should be a shamed and at the least be fined heavily for false advertisement and horrible conditions. Upon arrival we were told the main building in the photos is booked and was taken to outside two-floor motel-looking extension to the building. The rooms smell. What appeared to be a frame for a shelf in the center of the room, was missing shelves! THE STAFF IS AMAZING but unfortunately the place is filthy and broken down. We cancelled and had to find a place at arrival.

The hotel is convenient, not too far from all the attractions, and not too expensive. The bathroom was renovated and was nice, and the sheets were clean. However, the carpets and curtains were stained, and the electrical wires were sticking out of a socket because it didn't have a cover.

I saw the reviews for this property after I had already booked it, and saw many comments about the cleanliness that had me concerned. I thought I'd share my two cents about the rooms for some clarity. The rooms themselves were very dated, the bathroom seemed to have been remodeled recently, but everything else felt like it was from the 80's or 90's. There were a few spots where the wallpaper was peeling, the towels were fraying pretty badly, and the carpet DID have some old stains. However, the room itself was very clean. The bedsheets were new (although the pillows were pretty flat), and despite the carpet stains it did seem to be clean. It also shared a parking lot with a really good Italian restaurant, which was handy, and it's a 5-10 minute walk away from the falls. Considering this place was half the price of anywhere else, I was happy.

First impression was of the ladies public WR - pretty terrible. Second impression of the room was that it had a peculiar odour - most likely from the carpet, which was in terrible condition. However, the bathroom was clean, and the bed moderately comfortable. Location was terrific and the staff was very helpful. This is an old, tired place and needs some upgrading, but overall for one night, it was ok.

Dirty

We had a very disappointing stay this time as we usually stay at this hotel when we visit the Niagara Falls region. There was no cable TV available and we ended up finding bed bugs in the morning. When I notified the management when we checked out they were very concerned and assured me that senior management will be notified. Later during the day in the afternoon management called me and apologized and that they were taking this very serious and will be rectifying the the problem. I was impressed that they called me the same day and I am hoping that this was a rare occurrence as this hotel is in a great location and in the past there service was much better and the units much cleaner. I may give it another chance when I visit in the near future.

Check in was fast and efficient The rooms were okay, a little run down with wallpaper coming off the wall , ceiling with bad patching , fixtures a little run down BUT , room was clean and bathroom was clean Excellent value for the room rate Even though a little run down, it’s still clean and conveniently located We love staying here Brad

noisy AC, dirty smelly carpets, paper thin walls

Saw a spider dangling in front of the main door, weird odour all around, and crumpled carpet. Would not recommend and disappointed.

It wasn’t a good experience, the room was dirty and the AC stop working and we have to change the room at midnight. The pictures at Expedia are misleading.

For the first time in my 45 years of staying in hotels this is the first place that didn’t have television….:( it was there but didn’t work.

Stayed in room 235, tv didn’t work. I can live without that, but still sucks. Had zero hand soap for the room. Was told to use shampoo or go buy my own. Not fun to be working all day and then have to go out to buy basic amenities for the room. We had 6 different bookings this weekend for an event next door and multiple small businesses staying there. They all said it was a big disappointment and we will be looking for other accommodations when back in the spring and winter next year for our events :(

Great stay, clean room, close to the action. The tv didn’t work but I had planned for that after a previous stay.

The TV had no signal, and the a/c didn't run true to temp reading, but the staff was great, prices were resonable for the area close

This is our third visit in which the tv does not work.

The room was huge and the bed was comfortable. My favorite was the jacuzzi tub. I will definitely return

Noisy air conditioner. Apart from that, its pretty good. Amazing location, good people and quiet place.

Had ++++ difficulty connecting to reception on TV . Ok after I requested help . Then when I devided to change channels it went belly up . No further abilty to watch tv despite assistance . A disappointment.

They cancelled our reservation when we reached the property. we were not notified until we got there. Rude front desk staff. promised us we are just getting your room ready and then in an hour said we have cancelled your reservation.

We were very disappointed with building as in the electronic room cards were not working at all! The tv wasn’t working and we had to wait for an hour after expected check in time. However Manpreet who was working the front desk was amazing. She was working completely on her own and she had so many disgruntled guests to deal with. She even came up to our room to set up our tv- which was later. Mark the Maintenance man was also so very helpful. Overall very disappointed in how the Rodeway Inn was managed.

Friendly staff clean room ac worked like a charm the only issue i had that didnt make it 5 stars for me is the fact our keycard to enter the room did not work so i had to constantly leave the door open when i sat outside of the room or when we came back from going out we always had to ask staff to open our room but the staff always had no issues so i appreciate them for that but the owner should really get that fixed because it wasnt just my family that had issues with keycards i stayed 2 night 3 days and 80% of the people i saw had issues other then that it was a fantastic stay

Staff was amazing and super friendly and helpful, despite the fact that the key cards for most of the rooms weren't working during our stay due to a technical glitch. They had to let us into our rooms each time with a master key, but they were very apologetic and willing to do it whenever we needed to get in.

Whatever you decide do not book this facility. We arrived early and were told we have to wait till 4pm before they can attend to us.[ i believe we can be checked in even if the room is not ready] we came back more than 2 hours later around 5.30pm, the receptionist told us to still wait for more than 30mins to check if our room was ready. It came up as a hotel but it's a motel with terrible building condition. The huest bathroom at the reception seems not to be cleaned for years. There were cobwebs and flies in the room. We ended up sleeping and at exactly 5.45 I woke up to see a milipede crawling towards my pillow. We had to check out immediately. Do Not book this faculity even if its free.

Excellent, friendly staff, flexible and accommodating. Really enjoyed not just the stay but the interactions with all the staff there. Approachable, friendly, accommodating and professional from start to end.

it’s a little bit far from the main drag. scary to be walking late night.

The location is perfect for my trip. We bought the pass that includes the shuttle and inclined railway. I hop on and off the inclined railway from Hotel to Falls. It is so convenient even for the night event. Because it runs until 11pm. The room is spacious, two vanity and mirrors. We could do the morning chores all together without waiting and waste any leisure / site seeing time.

Great location for the music festival we attended, it was literally next door! Walking distance to a bunch of restaurants nearby. Neighbourhood seemed clean and safe. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean..white linens, old colourful carpet, not a great pillow but overall good option to sleep! Side note re: the area and for any late night munchies you may have..we couldn't for the life of us find a snack vending machine or a convenient store closeby so we ended up at Embassy suites which charges $6.30 for a twix bar and the starbucks in there charges $2-3 more per item, so stay clear of that hotel unless you like paying that kind of $!!

Walking distance to falls and Casino

It worked perfectly for my short trip. I didn’t spent much time at the hotel, just came to sleep and take a shower. Perfectly located near a WEGO stop and walking distances to restaurants and attractions. The bed was confortable and the room clean.

Bookede 2 overnatninger. Der er ingen mulighed for morgenmad på hotellet, men der er rigtig mange restauranter i området, hvor man kan få morgenmad - De er dog lidt dyre. Høfligt personale, der gerne giver anbefalinger af steder at spise til ethvert budget. Parkering er ikke gratis, dog er dette et af de billigere steder at parkere (CAD 20 pr. døgn excl. taxes). Det er i fornuftig gå afstand til vandfaldene.

Our room was clean spacious and where we asked to be placed. On the same parking lot there is a pizza place that is excellent. One of the best I have ever tried.

I realize there is not daily room service but a replenishment of coffee would have been appreciated. As well, the sign out front boasts 2 restaurants?????

Front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel description stated there was a restaurant and bar on the premises; neither amenity was available. That was disappointing and was one of the reasons we chose this location. The pool was not heated. We resevered a room for three people, we had 2 bath towels, 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel. We needed to track down adequate linens for the room.The halls and common areas were not air conditioned. The rooms were spacious and clean.

This hotel is a motel-style so can easily park in front of the door to the room. Parking price was very reasonable for the area. Room itself needed some updating (carpet, beds) but overall, it wasn't the best or worst hotel we've stayed in. It was really quiet too. Bus stop is nearby. Plenty of dining options nearby. About 2 block walk to the incline railway to take you down to Falls. Would stay here again for the accessibiltiy to everything, cost, and ease of stay.
