This property is a bare bones property with the room having a bed , small table for two, and a tv. But the entire place is very clean, the front staff are polite and attentive and I don't see how you can go wrong at this price. It even has free parking which is rare in Niagara Falls. They don't have breakfast but they do have free coffee in the morning that is very good. I would have no problem returning to the Diplomat Inn

Clean and modern hotel within walking distance to Fallsview Casino. I had a comfortable stay. Rooms are equipped with a fridge, and reception will provide you with a kettle upon request. There is a “microwave room” with ice machine on the second floor. Free coffee in the morning (main floor near the stairs. There are no elevators). Tile flooring (no carpets). Free parking which is a BIG bonus (many hotels in that area charge a lot for parking). The only problem I had was when I got into the shower, I was waiting for hot water.. it was only warm-ish water and I was freezing! It was the middle of winter so the water actually felt like it was cool (not warm).. I quickly showered with that “cool” water then.. after awhile (when I was almost done), the water finally turned normal hot.. so the temperature is inconsistent. I actually considered jumping out of the shower and just using the hot water from the sink to wash up! Otherwise everything else was fine. I do recommend this hotel.

Pleasantly surprised by this inn! Outside looks dated but the rooms are recently renovated so it was a pleasant stay. The location is great. Within walking distance to clifton hill (about 15 mins) and about 20 minute walk to the falls. A shuttle was advertised online but there is no shuttle. The staff is very pleasant and the rooms and linen are very clean. The beds were comfortable. They offer complimentary coffee in the morning. The mini fridge in the room is great. Free parking is included! The only thing i didnt like is the toilet seat is a little small for the toilet so your thighs end up touching the cold toilet but this mightve been just our room.

Very very clean and mostly the floor is clean and its tiles so you will not be paranoidcompared to a carpet floors.. Staffs are amazing and friendly! If I ever come back to Niagara, I will definitely stay here again!!! The best part is the staffs are Filipinos so you will expect it to be very clean and friendly!!!

My room was extremely clean, bed was firm and comfortable, linens like new, shower clean and good water pressure. The location is close to everything and parking lot is a decent size. Staff are friendly. All around my 2 nights were very good - recommend this spot to anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodation within walking distance of the falls.

This hotel was gross. It had a lot of good reviews but I have to believe some of them were fake. This hotel scored high in cleanliness - more like sterile, yet still dingy. We killed 8 bugs (in our 2-night stay), including 2 crickets. Another thing that made us very uncomfortable was that they have a side door that they just keep open 24-7. It even broke at one point, staying wide open, and they acted like it was no big deal. That door should be locked after a certain time of night. This place was just gross. The only good thing I can say is the size of the rooms is decent and the parking is free.

We always stay at The Diplomat Inn whenever we are in Niagara Falls. The price is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. Parking is free which is a bonus. Most hotels charge you $20 a night to park at their establishment.

We stayed for 2 nights in a new renovated room thats what it was called i payed more for it and it didnt look newly done with paint maybe just some tiles in the room. No comforters for the beds just a sheet and thin blue blanket. I had to go to walmart and purchase one. The light below our window lite up our room at night even with the curtains closed. U can hear everything outside your room. It was a clean room and the price was right so i guess u get what u pay for.

The room was I little depressing. Plain white walls. Not a single picture or paint on the walls. The floors are tiled, both in the room and hallways. I believe that having the tiled floors made noise travel and echo through the hallways. This contributed to a noiser say. I think that having carpet in the hallways would eliminate this problem.

We were in town for a concert and this property was a convenient location. The room was clean and quite large compared to many hotels. Parking was free and the room had a (purple) mini fridge. I was disappointed that the door to our room had a large gap at the bottom, and the door lock felt insecure in general. Walking down the hall, there seemed to be a mix of handles and locks on most rooms. I would recommend replacing any doors that don't seal properly and upgrading to matching hardware.

The lady at the reception who greeted us was very nice and helpful ( gave us information about what's available upon request, where the microwaves are located, the coffe that is available in the lobby early morning). The spatious, renovated room was very clean. The good price (free parking) and the location ( walkable distance to everything) were also factors that influenced our decision to choose Diplomat Inn.

The staff made my experience perfect. Warm, inviting, happy to help me with checking in for the first time. The beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. My friends and I would happily stay there again. They even had free coffee in the mornings, every person at the front desk was so kind and courteous.

Hotel location was great, room was clean. Staff really friendly. Unfortunately I had an extremely loud neighbour in the room next to me and it was clear the walls between rooms were very thin. The staff attempted to get them to quiet down but this noise went on including loud music from 2am until 6am. Despite 4 trips down to reception to ask the staff to intervene, nothing was done about it. We had a lot of travelling to do the next morning and with no sleep we left the hotel in a miserable state. We also noted that a few of the people in the room making the noise weren’t even staying in the hotel and so should have been sent on their way but this wasn’t the case. My email address was taken by the reception team when I checked out but have not heard from them since so am left feeling that this was not a serious concern for them.

My room was extremely clean, bed was firm and comfortable, linens like new, shower clean and good water pressure. The location is close to everything and parking lot is a decent size. Staff are friendly. All around my 2 nights were very good - recommend this spot to anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodation within walking distance of the falls.

This property is a bare bones property with the room having a bed , small table for two, and a tv. But the entire place is very clean, the front staff are polite and attentive and I don't see how you can go wrong at this price. It even has free parking which is rare in Niagara Falls. They don't have breakfast but they do have free coffee in the morning that is very good. I would have no problem returning to the Diplomat Inn

We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and polite. She told us that coffee would be available in the morning. There is a iHop next door in the Ramada. There was an all you can eat breakfast and lunch place nearby. The rooms were clean. I literally smelled the pinesol and lemon throughout the halls and room. In the rooms they had nice chairs and a table. The beds were clean and soft. You can control your room temperature. There was a small fridge and an ice bucket. Centralized microwave and ice were in a room on each floor. As long as they maintain it the way it is now, I will definitely be back. Even though we were in an out between games, it was well worth the stay because they work with your needs. Parking was free with stay.

Very good value! Location is great for Clifton Hill activities. Staff quickly brought an extra pillow and towel to our room. Plenty of food and souvenirs within steps. It was a bit stuffy the first night of our stay, but after the AC was up and running the second night was much more tolerable. If you’re sensitive to bright light when you sleep, bring a sleep mask. The area behind the Inn is cluttered with some other run down property.

Very nice newly renovated room. Had a fridge but no microwave in room (I was told there’s a shared microwave on the 2nd floor). Bathroom was beautiful but the faucets were a little loose, you can tell it’s of cheaper material. Very soft/good quality toilet paper!! =) it’s even better than 3 star hotels I’ve stayed at! The free parking was a BIG bonus, because I found out the motel across the street charged $20 for parking! Diplomat Inn is only a 10-min walk to Fallsview Casino!!! Amazing! TV had some channels but at first the channel I wanted had picture then no picture (replaced by a still with sound), then eventually it was working fine. If you want to be close to all the Falls attractions, I’d recommend staying here. Free coffee from 8am-11am, no breakfast but you can grab your breakfast down the street at Tim Hortons.

Clean and modern hotel within walking distance to Fallsview Casino. I had a comfortable stay. Rooms are equipped with a fridge, and reception will provide you with a kettle upon request. There is a “microwave room” with ice machine on the second floor. Free coffee in the morning (main floor near the stairs. There are no elevators). Tile flooring (no carpets). Free parking which is a BIG bonus (many hotels in that area charge a lot for parking). The only problem I had was when I got into the shower, I was waiting for hot water.. it was only warm-ish water and I was freezing! It was the middle of winter so the water actually felt like it was cool (not warm).. I quickly showered with that “cool” water then.. after awhile (when I was almost done), the water finally turned normal hot.. so the temperature is inconsistent. I actually considered jumping out of the shower and just using the hot water from the sink to wash up! Otherwise everything else was fine. I do recommend this hotel.

Really nice stay, clean, comfy beds, enough towels, good coffee, and most importantly the really niiice personell who offered help all the time, were forthcoming etc. Absolutely recommendable. I'll return! Every room has different (old, and really nice!) beds, which is also great, I think. And no carpet, which I like way better than anything else. Enough parking as well. You can walk to the falls!

É um hotel simples, mas o quarto era renovado e limpo. A cama é muito boa. Eles oferecem café de cortesia. Fica em excelente localização, no meio do caminho entre as duas principais áreas turísticas. Há bons restaurantes e mercados por perto.

Pleasantly surprised by this inn! Outside looks dated but the rooms are recently renovated so it was a pleasant stay. The location is great. Within walking distance to clifton hill (about 15 mins) and about 20 minute walk to the falls. A shuttle was advertised online but there is no shuttle. The staff is very pleasant and the rooms and linen are very clean. The beds were comfortable. They offer complimentary coffee in the morning. The mini fridge in the room is great. Free parking is included! The only thing i didnt like is the toilet seat is a little small for the toilet so your thighs end up touching the cold toilet but this mightve been just our room.

For the price this place far exceeded my expectations. They were very thoughtful and custormer oriented at the front desk. Very Clean and had a ice dispenser and microwave available when needed Close to all food establishments. Would not hesitate to come back here.

Too much outside light come in the room, bathroom door was broken, shower knob was broken, right outside the window there was so much dirt and trash! Phone set was broken, outside door was slamming when closed so we woke up many time. Basically never book room 109! We had a different room booked but they gave us a messed up one (109)!
