Such a convenient location - the bus stop across the street, and a short taxi ride to the airport. We got there after dark so couldn't see the beautiful building.... The rooms were clean, large and well laid out. There was a kettle too. We had dinner there and the service and food were wonderful. A quiz was going on in the bar, the emcee was clever and personable, and we retired before it was over, but the noise from the bar was minimal. As Americans, working out how the water ran in the shower, wasn't easy (you have to pull on the string switch), but we persevered and there was a lovely shower. I'd really recommend this pub - really great!

Despite responding to the email request to confirm arrival time 7 days before our booking & communicating we would arrive at 7:30pm & were driving, and then 2 days prior to our booking asking to reserve parking, we arrived at the hotel to find the parking was closed due to an event which nobody had bothered to tell us about. We had to drive around for 20 minutes to try & find parking, then eventually park 10 minutes away on insecure street parking, nearer to the Premier Inn which we could/should have booked instead. Awful lack of communication/response & didn't get the free parking specified on the booking, which was one of the main reasons we booked causing us considerable inconvenience.

Once again absolutely brilliant weekend up in Yeadon, staff are fantastic food is brilliant band if you catch it when there is a band on excellent entertainment as well.

arrived at 2200 and even stated latest check in 2300 the hotel was dark and locked, nobody answered the phone. Wrote an email to inform that I cancel my stay and got promt reply and someone let me in. There must have been a party in the pub just before, I recognized a bad smell and garbage the floor. The room must not so long ago bern renovated and looked ok, but there was clearly lack of cleaning. The carpet was discoloured, toothpaste and stains around the sink, hair in bed.... I am not going there again

Room was quiet and bed comfy. Radiator swich broke during the night so suddently room was like a sauna, after a while got it sorted. Lamps next to the bed did not work. Bedding seemed bit dirty with little hairs all over. No cups for tea and old soap left in the shower. Otherwise nice room and worth the money.

very nice charming guest house not far from Leeds-Bradford airport. Very friendly staff. Accommodation is quite roomy and well equipped. This was an upper floor room with skylights and no windows as such. No AC so was a bit warm at first but then cooled off and very comfortable. Definitely recommendable.

The meal and desert I ate here was outstanding. The hotel room I had didn’t have a table and chair for me to finish my work off on laptop, The room was cold and I couldn’t find anywhere that I could adjust it. The shower is just about adequate. The room and bed are fine, but at the price they’re charging it should have a power shower, heating and a table to work off for my laptop.

Could hear the music from downstairs when we were trying to sleep because we were up at 2am but it is a pub so to be expected. Didn’t eat there but food looked good. Drinks prices very reasonable. Perfect location for the airport. Would stay again.

This hotel is very handy for the airport, the food was very good and good value the room is pleasant and comfortable although no hot water or plug in bathroom basin. Unfortunately we won't be able to return because of the loud music playing in the bar till midnight so no sleep due to this and the noise of people leaving throughout the night for the airport.

Lovely B&B, with friendly staff. Unfortunately when i arrived i discovered the kitchen was being refurbished but was told they could do me a toastie which i was happy with - but at 8pm when i went downstairs to ask for it i was told that this service finished at 7. The room was beautifully clean, comfortable bed & nice shower. I would just say that i was in room 4 & am not sure if thats directly above a speaker in the bar but i coukd hear the thud of the bass in the music until midnight.

The room was okay. It's up some steep stairs, so anyone with mobility issues might have problems. It's on a busy High Street, so leaving the window open wasn't great. The music in the pub under our room sent bass booming for a few hours. We asked that a taxi be arranged for early (6 am) and were told I should call myself. My phone plan doesn't cover outside of Canada (it would be $15 if I used it) so I asked one of the women. We went for a walk, came back later in the afternoon and she hadn't had time to do it. Eventually, she did. We had to wait outside, in the dark for the taxi. There's no one working after the pub closes, so if any guest needed help, that's not going to happen. We also talked to a couple of local ladies who told us the food isn't very good at the White Swan and suggested several other places to eat. Not a place I would stay again

We stayed for 1 night as we were visiting Yeadon Town Hall. The location on the main street was ideal. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 4, the overall cleanliness was excellect. Bed was comfortable and fresh. The only problem was the bathroom window, which was arched, needed some work and a lick of paint. Overall a pleasant stay.

Very comfortable accommodations and a very accommodating landlady who not only let me check in 2 hours early, she insisted on lugging my heavy bag up a full flight of stairs. Check-out was a breeze, and it was a 4-minute cab ride to the airport.

Calming interior design in a quiet room with a comfortable bed, extra pillows, lovely hot shower. It’s a small village pub only 4 minutes by bus to LBA, and the bus stop was just outside the building which was very convenient. Very helpful, friendly staff.

Location near the airport was really convenient. Staff were helpful and friendly and the food was really good - excellent fish pie, house burger and fish finger sandwich. The room was small for 3 adults.

I ordered the Sunday Lunch which was very good and loads of it washed down with a very nice and reasonable bottle of Portugese Wine. The only strange part was going to the bar to order and pay for it up front and then asked if you wanted to leave a tip before you had been served anything and did not know if the service was going to be any good which was very strange - I feel sorry for the staff as I declined the tip upfront but then had no cash with me to make my usual 10% tip after I finished Other than that the stay was very good and some nice cask ales served in the bar Dave Garnham

Very lovely rooms, decor nicely done. staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Food was great even stayed longer after check out for sunday lunch well worth the visit. Will be back again.

We stayed at The White Swan for 2 nights, in order to go to the cricket at Headingley. The number 27 bus stops outside the hotel and takes you directly to Headingley centre. Our room which was on the first floor (no lift) overlooked the front of the property and a busy road, but it was not too noisy. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. Tea and coffee were provided. Unfortunately the hotel does not provide a breakfast service and the local cafes only open at 08.30, so we did without! We ate at the hotel on the first night and enjoyed our meal. Sadly due to previous problems with customers not paying, we had to pay for each individual transaction, which was a little irritating for us and the staff!

Great stay, only for one night due to early flight. Great spot if going to the airport. Lovely walk very close by. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Very quiet. Slept well. Will stay again. Food looked great and had a gluten free menu, something I will try next time.
