This place is adorable and made my trip! The ambiance of staying in an 1800’s farm house fits Vermont perfectly and it’s in a nice, quiet spot. There’s a quaint living room to hang out in with a hot chocolate bar and serves as a great reading spot. The staff was always around and ready to help. Breakfast the next morning was great and to top it all off I woke up to a fresh snow storm.

Inn keeper was exceptional. Mom really made our stay. True warm hospitality. Delicious breakfast. Highly enjoyed fire pits out back, the lush backyard, and the provided games. No elevator on-site if that bothers you. The new owners are working hard to restore and update the property.

Charming historic inn with incredibly good breakfast and dinner menu. Bakery also out of this world. Kids loved the library:game room and 24hr hot cocoa bar. Family owned- mother tubs inn and her children run the restaurant. Such a warm, lovely family. If you have trouble with stairs, may not be the best for you, but otherwise would stay again.

My wife and I spent a night at the inn and loved it. Very cool 214 year old building lovingly brought back to life by Vicky and her family. Clean, comfortable and charming. The food was also amazing. Conor (cook/son-in-law) is a talented chef who studied at the culinary institute. Beautiful property too. Thanks!!

Wonderful breakfast with home made strawberry muffins and berry compote French toast. Attic room was clean if a little austere with minimal grounded outlets, an issue if you need to charge a laptop. Single zone heating means attic cooks and requires you to jack open window all night

My husband and I had a great stay. We stayed 2 nights and just loved it. Victoria the Inn Keeper and family made you feel right at home. The home, rooms and grounds are well kept. We enjoyed the breakfast that included a special for that day, blueberry french toast which was yummy and made to order. We would highly recommend this property if your looking for a cozy, clean and friendly place. Along with being in a great location to ski resorts, shopping, restaurants, walking, hiking and just a nice place to hang out and relax.

Photos are deceitful. 2 dead bugs in bath. 1 live spider and various spider webs in bath Taking damp tissue and wiping bath floor, it was nasty black and dirty Pubic hair on tub wall - no bath mat, towels were worn out. We paid for more than 1 nite; left after 1 nite. A horrible - awful experience.

Salt on the porch and steps/snow in the lot needed attention. First ice and snow of the season so I don't blame the staff but had to alert them it was a death trap. Their first winter there so still working out the kinks (difficulty with the heater and Kurig Exceptional

For the price they charge, not worth it. I woke up in the morning feezing cold, apparently, there was no heat in the middle of a single digit temperature. And of course there was no heat in the shower. Glad i only stayed for one night

5 Stars – A Wonderful Stay! We had a wonderful stay at the Stone Hearth Inn and Eatery. My son had programs at Vermont Academy, and this spot was perfect—close to everything nearby, including a great bar just down the street. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything about our experience was easy and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

My fiance and I had an amazing stay here. Vicki and her staff are incredible and attentive to their guests. The food is beyond amazing one of the best meals we have had. We highly recommend this cute and quaint spot and definitely will be making many trips back!

The Inn was lovely. My grandchildren were welcomed with open arms ages 8 and 10. They loved our stay and asked for us to take them back. Breakfast specials were delicious and the attached restaurant was as well. We’ll be back!!

A very quaint country home. Beautifully remodeled and oozing warmth. Wonderful innkeeper who is very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend the outstanding breakfast in the sunroom. The attached eatery has a marvelous menu and great food.

My husband and I stayed here for a night. Communication was great. Beautiful old inn. The best part was the owners daughter/husband are chefs! Like...gourmet chefs! I think I had the best breakfast I've ever had in my life here. Just a lovely family owned - beautiful VT Inn. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

A wonderful experience. Vicky the host, along her CIA trained chef daughter and son in law have restored an old farmhouse back to its prior splendor. The food is affordable, imaginative, and top notch quality. Bravo!!
