Gets expensive fast. Declined to pay an additional $60 for valet parking, which is only what is offered. There’s plenty of parking garages around, about a 10 minute walk for a fraction of the price. Bed sheets were stained. Pool closes early at 7pm. Very busy on the weekend. Other than that I had a good time.

Ok, so they only have valet parking. $60 a night. You can park on the side street at no cost if you can find a space. But tight and hard to find. The decor is modern but they have a bizarre concept for the rooms. Bare concrete walls. The weirdest are the hallways. I felt like I was walking to a death chamber of some kind in a bad prison. The carpet is also weird and I would replace it, if my choice. The dining/pool area is lovely and relaxing.

Close to alot of restaurants, nearby car rental, across the street from the metro line station. Staff was helpful, Openaire restaurant was delicious. I didn't get to use the pool but it looked pretty, also didn't use the gym but it had a decent amount of equipment. Parking is a bit expensive but there's a garage 2 blocks away with $5 overnight parking instead of the $50 here.

Poop was filthy. Clearly no one is even checking to do the basics of cleaning the tile on the waterline. A pool light was just dangling. Come on!

This is a good location in K-Town if that's where you want to be; it's a decent and relatively safe area of DTLA. I liked the vibe of the hotel and the lobby/lobby bar. The rooms are pretty small and basic/austere, but comfortable. The gym space was definitely adequate for doing a basic workout (my friend and I bring an iPad and do workout videos with weights, so it had space and necessary equipment for that), except the workout mats don't seem to get cleaned regularly, so you pretty much have to take a used one and clean it yourself, which isn't that big of a deal. We liked the service in the lobby bar and especially at the restaurant/bar by the pool for breakfast. The process of entering/exiting the hotel's decade-themed bars was a little weird, but not terrible, other than you have to walk around half the property outside when you leave to go back in to get to your room vs. just being able to use a key to get in internally.

We came for a wedding held at the nearby Wilshire Ebell. Our one night stay was short but enjoyable, but marred by the $60 parking charge, and an even worse $30 “amenity fee”, the latter a b.s. charge for “access to the gym and pool”. Such a blatant ripoff! I won’t be coming back to The Line Hotel.

We always stay at the Line and enjoy the area. We were bummed they shut down the on-site bars because of low traffic. It would have been nice to have taken advantage of that resort fee they charge.

I stayed here for one night and was shocked to wake up and find the pillow I had been sleeping on covered in mold. Super disgusting and honestly concerning since I had my face on it all night. My skin even felt itchy afterward. I went to the front desk in the morning and was told to send an email so the manager could follow up. I did that, but days went by with no reply. I even called, and each time I was told the manager wasn’t around. They promised a call back the next day, but that never happened either. Honestly, this was really disappointing. The cleanliness was terrible, and the customer service was just as bad.

We reserve a stay at this hotel at least once a year for around 5 years now. When we first stayed there, it was great. However, as the years pass the rooms are looking more worn and dirty. The windows are dirty or cracked, and the curtains are broken. We have had a smoke detector beeping because it needed a battery change at 2AM and had to wait until it was changed. They charge a resort fee but don’t even provide small perks like free coffee in the morning. The only positive is that they allow pets and don’t have a pet fee and the bed is comfortable. My biggest problem is the valet parking. It’s $55 a night plus tax. I don’t mind the charge but they are always busy and rushing you. They get mad if you take too long and seem to always be looking for a tip. If I’m paying for valet parking + tax + tip, I should be able to take my time. We have also had a drunk guest ram our car in their lot during a previous stay. The surrounding area is also dirty. If you are with a pet, be prepared to wash their feet every night. I am not sure if we would stay there again. Perhaps if the price is right and we have an appointment in the area. If you don’t travel with a pet, I would look elsewhere.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the past 8 years. It’s in serious need of a deep cleaning and refurbishment. It has all the accoutrements of a 4 star, but the carpets in the halls are dingy as are the ones in the rooms. The whole location needs to be modernized.

This property was in a great spot within walking distance from my venue, but there were gnats all over the bathroom flying up from the drains, in the shower, and by the toilet. whenever I sat down to do my business gnats were flying on my face. Then, the windows in the room were off track so they did not close. You could smell street smells including cigarette and cigaweed smoke all throughout the room. It was nauseating. The chair in the room was sunken in so it was impossible to sit comfortably at the desk and eat any meals or write. I laid in bed for 4 days straight, essentially. Then, there were the issues with the money: As a perk of staying on the property they charged exorbitant fees for everything from parking to using the workout facility. At check-in where I was expecting maybe another $150 in charges, I paid roughly $400 additional dollars. It was insane. As a perk of staying here I was assured free entry into the night clubs attached, but when I got to the door of the venue I was asked for $45. Then, when I handed them my drink ticket (which comes with the stay) the bar tenders had no clue what it was. I was so disappointed by the end of this stay that i just about gave up. The mini-bar was stocked very well, but as a person who does not drink, but eats like a true foodie - the space I could have used to store my wonderful leftovers was instead used for hard liquor and booze. I was charged $30 additional after checkout because I ate from the mini-bar... yea.

We called our room the prison cell because of how cramped the beds were, and how dismal the decor was. They advertise a pool, but they don’t tell you that the water is dirty and stagnant. Nobody wanted to even dip their toes into this pool. We stayed for 6 nights, and every night we would have to inspect the pillows, which were in variable states of uncleanliness. There was one night we found blood on our pillows. The TV was useless. We had to borrow an HDMI cable from the main desk and purchase a hdmi to usb-c converter just to connect our iPad so we could watch Netflix. The bathroom had a leaky bathtub faucet that drove us crazy at night. There was a green bucket instead of a trash can and sometimes the trash wasn’t thrown out when room keeping came by. The worst part was an extra 34 dollar DAILY charge that was explained to us as a “resort fee” that we were not made aware of when booking. They charge this resort fee for no service, a dirty pool, and dirty sheets and pillows. The area around the hotel has a lot of Korean restaurants but we only felt safe walking around during the daytime. At night, homeless people come out of the woodwork and it seems no one walks around in the area at night because it looked borderline deserted. We went for a walk in the evening our first night and walked right back to the hotel because we got scared- and we’re from NYC so we don’t spook easily.

Great location to Wiltern for concerts, great access to authentic Korean food, and decent location for getting around fun tourist spots like the Grove, Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, and out to Santa Monica. Valet staff were really great! However, our room was dirty (floor had stains and hair on the top of the shower wall), bathroom sink would not drain for minutes, and light switches were faulty.

The technology in the rooms is pretty out of date and could use an overhaul. The TV radio, plugs etc aren’t up to speed - the overall condition of the hotel is starting to show the effects of time. Great start as always.

The Line is a modern, high quality hotel in a unique spot in LA. Do let the reception know if your room is too noisy or the window isn't closing properly - they will happily relocate you, don't suffer in silence! restaurant is lovely, but pricey, save some cash for a brunch!

The staff at The Line are fantastic. I have stayed here many times and my only real complaint is how noisy it is: it’s difficult to sleep (street noise from Wilshire Blvd). There really isn’t much that the hotel can to do mitigate this, other offering ear plugs to guests at check in. I continue to return to The Line because it’s the nicest hotel in the area.

I was very disappointed. I arrived at 12:30 pm and asked if i could check in early. The guy at the desk didn't check the status of my room, which is what most hotels do. Instead, he said: "Sure, you can check in now by paying $75 extra." In all my years of travel, I have never heard that line before. I thought: "Is this place a brothel where they charge by the hour?" (At that rate, it would be $720 for 24 hours.) When I checked in at 3 pm, I found that the place was designed with "prison chic" -- intentionally ugle concrete gray walls that looked like they had scratches everywhere. The "quiet room" I requested had a bed that looked directly into an adjoining apartment building; and for whatever reason, it was incredibly noisy from 5 am to 7am both days i was there. The only good thing about the hotel were the bartenders and coffee workers on the first floor, who were very pleasant. I have stayed in many great hotels in LA (and NYC and many other places). I'll never come to the Line A again.

Felt the place was a little sloppy. When I came to check out there was only one person on the front desk, they were super busy so I felt for them but they didn’t acknowledge my wait times (over 10 mins). The valet team were too busy chatting to each other to acknowledge my waiting. Lots of room for improvement.

Check in was easy. I didn’t get to go to the pool but I’ll have to make sure to carve out time for that next time. Will definitely be back! It’s in a great location to, central to everything so it’s super easy to take the public transportation or get a car.

The staff was wonderful all around, very helpful. We were using the hotel as a central point for a birthday celebration and it was perfect. We gathered in a suite, then went across the street to The Venue for karaoke and dinner, then back to the suite before dancing the night away at Break Room 86. Perfect night! A few of us stayed overnight in regular rooms and enjoyed the pool and delicious food from OpenAire restaurant the next morning. Convenient coffee and lounge/bar in the lobby, and so many dining and going out options nearby, along with spas and shopping. Now we want to do this for every special occasion!

Upon checking in, we had the most terrible Front Desk experience with a man who clearly should not be in. Customer. Service also failed to mention that the pool was never opened until we asked about it. Everything was shut for a private event and nothing was offered to us we then had to go back and asked to speak to the manager, who conveniently was not available, but the other woman at the front desk Tried to help us and was a lot more kind said she was refunding the amenity fee and it has now been a week later and nothing is back on a credit card. We never received a follow up no apology. As half of the reason we booked this property were for the amenities, pool restaurant bar, etc. I do not recommend this place. The staff does not care and thinks they are too cool to have any sort of hospitality manners.

Staff is not accommodating Honestly, very rude and unhelpful. When I arrived, I was unable to check into my reservation because of an issue with the hotel system, and not with the booking that I made this was very frustrating and I was not helped in an easy way. Definitely improve customer service if you improve anything amazing though everybody in the valet really nice Xoxo

I LOVE this hotel. I love the neighborhood - and that you can walk around and find SO MANY amazing food options. It's also close to the Korean spa I like to frequent when I'm in town. Sitting poolside is heavenly and they have great food and beverage. The staff is very nice. I also really like that you can take the FlyAway bus from LAX to Union Station, and then the D metro line right to the hotel. The only thing that can be an issue is noise from adjacent rooms. On both of my recent stays, I had some issues sleeping through the night because of people either partying in the rooms next to me, or music coming from other rooms.

This boutique hotel was definitely a vibe. There’s a cafe on the property, which I utilized daily for my morning coffee fix. I love the eco-friendly, modern, minimalistic aesthetic. The hotel was a great value for the money. During my stay, the bar hosted a Deily happy hour, and there was even a book signing event for a local Asian chef. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay and would return next time I am in LA!

The property is on a busy street so if you room is at street level it is very noisy. The restaurant hosts private events so it may be closed to hotel guests completely. The parking is $60 a day as compared to others in the area.

Our room had amazing views of Hollywood and was within walking distance to many restaurants in Koreatown. The service and bar area has gone down since my last visit so I would like to see improvement there. The coffee shop downstairs is amazing and the restaurant is nice!
