Hotel was convenient for the beach and shops - the pool was not very clean, breakfast was good, as was the family room I booked. Spacious with good facilities. Reception was sometimes a long wait, with only one person on most of the time. We had booked dinner which good, would have been good to have 'specials' on the dinner menu. Overall, good stay

Reception desk was fair but not particularly friendly room was large with easy access shower as requested. Bed comfortable with a scruffy looking bobbled wool bed drape food and service in restaurant good I used swimming pool twice a day amazing. Staff friendly and helpful in this area. In total I was expecting a more polished feel to my stay In keeping with the name Hilton.

We have stayed at the Hilton Bournemouth before and loved it so this time we chose an upgraded balcony room. Unfortunately we were advised on checking that they didn’t have our requested room so they put us in a family room. The room was on the third floor and balcony overlooked the main road and did not get any sun. There were just two chairs on the balcony which meant you couldn’t sit out there for a drink really cause there was no table and the glass was quite dirty. The pool and spa area was nice and we used it twice, however in the chill out room there was no water or drinks available. There were quite a few young children in the pool which is fine but as the ceiling is low it was quite noisy. One of the other things we were looking forward to was having a drink on the rooftop bar but this was permanently closed. At breakfast they did not seem to be quite enough staff and the ones that were on were quite stressed. One chap kept running around clearing plates but it just made the whole thing quite manic especially as we were sat in the middle of the restaurant with people getting up and moving about all around us. One of the coffee machines was broken. The waiter didn’t tell us where to find anything luckily as we’ve been before, we knew it wasn’t a very good start of the day.

Spacious and clean rooms, centrally located and has many restaurants just outside the hotel. The only negative review is the swimming pool: lacks in seating area, the water was dirty and as nobody was safeguarding families let their kids splash and shout.

Stayed on 5th floor - king room. Back of desk chair was broken - replaced promptly. Shower head was loose - also fixed quickly. Cleaning staff should look out for faulty items in room and work with maintenance team to resolve before guests notice. Tasty breakfast, but fruit not fresh enough. Coffee from machine very bitter. Large free to use gym with modern equipment - well done! Only aircon too cold (temp 13.5) and music super loud. Fantastic indoor swimming pool - special lane for swimmers. Parking is in building next door. Parking should be free, as rooms are rather pricy. Reception staff should be much clearer with parking instructions. Tip - give your reg no. to receptionist when checking in. Room cleaned daily - fairly good standard. Towels regularly changed. Restaurant tables not cleaned very well. Backs of some chairs dirty. The room was very clean and spacious, and had a good view being on the 6th floor. All staff we encountered were polite, helpful and friendly. Staff at reception were lovely, and service in the restaurant was great. Minor issue with trying to regulate the room temperature, and the TV channels are scrambled in a totally incomprehensible order-making no sense whatsoever! But minor quibbles over what was an excellent stay

We stayed here this weekend for our wedding anniversary as we spent our honeymoon here in 2020. Check-in was quicker this time and lobby looked lovely. Got to the room, all seemed great from a distance (cleanliness is important to us). Huge bed but unfortunately it was too firm for me and kept creaking everytime one of us moved on it. Bathroom had some grime/mould and shower soap holder dangling off, the HDMI port wouldnt work so we couldnt put our laptop up to the tv, air conditioning kept clicking which was extremely annoying through the night. Could hear a baby crying all through the second day/night. Coffe stains splatteted on the big canvas picture. The hotel did give us a nice little note saying happy anniversary and some chocolates which was lovely but the the worker just opened our door and walked in to hand them to us!! Scared the absolute life out of me i hid behind the wall, luckily my husband was there! Disappointed this time in comparison to 2020, for what you expect from a 'Hilton'. Unfortunately we wont be rushing back.

Room was dirty, there was food on the net curtains. Two light bulbs gone.. had the feel of uncared for. The cooked Breakfast was cold every morning during the 3 times used. For the money your paying for the room, I get better experience from a a travel lodge!

Car park is poorly signposted both outside and inside. Check in was simple enough. Excellent location though I would suggest I paid though the nose for this and doubt I’d return.

Room 302 was not in the best condition. Dusty dressing table. Dusty skirting boards, light fitting broken. Dirty brown stain on bed cushion. Windows dirty, balcony doors unable to open. Notice on door to say maintenance under repair. Bed linen didn't fit the base of bed. Paintwork on walls been poorly patched up. Only one lift working having to wait for lifts. The hotel have spent a lot of money on the reception and bar area they look beautiful. However the rooms need sorting. Really disappointed.

The staff were amazing — from the reception to the restaurant team. They were very helpful and accommodating to our requests, such as early check-ins and preparing lunch for our son before we went home. The overall team were brilliant, and I cannot praise them enough for their excellent service. However, regarding the room: my family did not get enough sleep due to the poor quality of the bed and, most especially, the pillows. The pillows were worn out, had brown stains, and were of very poor quality. Thankfully, I always bring extra pillowcases to cover them. Unfortunately, the bed was equally uncomfortable, and we woke up with backaches. The cleanliness of the room was also disappointing compared to other hotels we have stayed in. The standard did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price per night. I hope Hilton management makes an effort to improve room quality and cleanliness to match the rates they charge. Would we choose to stay at the Hilton again? Our answer is No. The price did not reflect the standard we expected, particularly when it comes to cleanliness.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable as you would expect. The negatives were with bathroom setup, a double ended bath with shower over one end means you can't stand directly under the shower, and the water spray bounces everywhere soaking the bathroom floor. Also water saving shower head on operation. If you like a great shower experience stay elsewhere. Ps the windows dont open they are sealed shut!

Not worth the money. Very nice hotel with nice facilities. Hotel room had a balcony however the door was locked so this was unavailable. Air conditioning didn’t really work, room was set to 15.5 degrees but the Aircon didn’t achieve this.

This was an okay stay, but the room I was allocated was across from a nightclub and incredibly loud music blasting until about 2/3am! There's nothing on the website that states that these rooms wouldn't be suitable for those who are looking for a good nights sleep and I would've appreciated a head's up upon checking in or some sort of disclaimer somewhere when booking.

Conveniently located but the junior suite was not worth £375. Very squeaky bed and the whole room had a horrible musty smell that you could even smell in bed. No teaspoons for the cups. Impractical to do your hair as no dressing table. Was expecting a little luxury but just a standard room that was a bit bigger than normal.

Our stay was OK. Two negatives, we paid extra to have a balcony, but it wasn't worth it, as the view was of the Odeon complex across the road! Our room was on the third floor and we were kept awake until 2.00am by music from the bar on the ground floor. Next time would ask for a higher floor in the hope of not hearing the music. The room was clean and comfortable, but I do wish they'd give proper pillows, not ones that dissolve to nothing when you put your head on them...

First and last time, we will stay at a Hilton hotel. Staff are not very nice and are quite blunt and not very accommodating to issues with their rooms. Tried to call reception and housekeeping as there were quick dial buttons in the room, but both trys at over a minute of ringing, and our call was still not answered. Due to this, we had to go back down to reception to report the issue we had. Glue residue in the shower tray in our bathroom, which was reported but didn't accept responsibility or take it very seriously and just said they would send the housekeeper up to our room. After she arrived, she saw it was a hard stubborn glue residue and accepted chemicals she had wouldn't be able to resolve the issue. Thankfully, she gave us a shower mat to cover all the glue residue. After a shower at the end of the night, the water went everywhere over the floor and didn't run fast enough down the drain. Caused a small flood on the floor, which the foot mat towel couldn't help with the water that overflowed onto the floor. Before my final conclusion, price per night sets examples no matter the brand. If you charge a high price per night, the experience and quality should match the price. For £200 a night, I was expecting a bit of wow factor from the hotel and accommodating staff to our every issue, but this was missing on so many levels.

Great stay at the hotel and rooms are lovely and big with great views if you have a twin balcony view. Great pool and spa and hotel bar. Reception staff were friendly and gave out a useful info sheet when you check in which was everything you need to know. Car parking is convenient next to hotel too. The big standout for me was the breakfast. Worth adding to the reservation. The manager who had blonde hair and was the f&B manager greeted us explained how everything worked and seated us it’s these little things that make a huge difference. The staff at breakfast had such a good flow, not a dirty table in sight and they were constantly checking in on the tables. Kian Cross the breakfast server also just as personable but he had a special sparkle with the guests and was so lovely to us recommending plenty of local places. He wasn’t over casual and was very professional and I think he was completely wasted in his current position. Both had very good energy and were special members of staff that many hotels are missing. Swimming pool also was such a highlight and they have family hours as well as adults only which pleases everyone. Only thing we didn’t like was the groups of non hotel guests in the hotel bar at night. Was slightly intimidating

We had a wonderful stay at the best hotel in Bournemouth. A spacious,modern room with beautiful decor. We would like to mention Olivia from the reception,who made our stay even more enjoyable and was very helpful when we had some issues with the delivery of a parcel. We highly recommend the Hilton for any type of stay in Bournemouth.

Room was beautiful and spacious and very clean, staff weren’t too friendly, very blunt and took a long time get checked in. Me and partner have worked in hospitality for years with my partner being a manager at centre parcs we know that’s not the best way to welcoming as guests. Felt a little uncomfortable. Gym and pool was lovely!

The staff were amazing — from the reception to the restaurant team. They were very helpful and accommodating to our requests, such as early check-ins and preparing lunch for our son before we went home. The overall team were brilliant, and I cannot praise them enough for their excellent service. However, regarding the room: my family did not get enough sleep due to the poor quality of the bed and, most especially, the pillows. The pillows were worn out, had brown stains, and were of very poor quality. Thankfully, I always bring extra pillowcases to cover them. Unfortunately, the bed was equally uncomfortable, and we woke up with backaches. The cleanliness of the room was also disappointing compared to other hotels we have stayed in. The standard did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price per night. I hope Hilton management makes an effort to improve room quality and cleanliness to match the rates they charge. Would we choose to stay at the Hilton again? Our answer is No. The price did not reflect the standard we expected, particularly when it comes to cleanliness.

First room hadn’t been made up so had to go back to Reception. Second room’s bathroom wasn’t that clean either. Beds not that comfortable although rooms a really good size. Great hotel only downside was the thumping off the bass from the near by nightclub that was very loud even in the 6th floor room. Not the easiest to fall asleep because of this till after 3am

This is our second visit this year. Love the bed and having a balcony view our dog loves the hotel also. Car park is really secure and after checking out we could leave our car for a bit extra charge to visit the beach. Our meal was really good Staff at the hotel are all excellent they make you feel special. Definitely going back

Stayed on 5th floor - king room. Back of desk chair was broken - replaced promptly. Shower head was loose - also fixed quickly. Cleaning staff should look out for faulty items in room and work with maintenance team to resolve before guests notice. Tasty breakfast, but fruit not fresh enough. Coffee from machine very bitter. Large free to use gym with modern equipment - well done! Only aircon too cold (temp 13.5) and music super loud. Fantastic indoor swimming pool - special lane for swimmers. Parking is in building next door. Parking should be free, as rooms are rather pricy. Reception staff should be much clearer with parking instructions. Tip - give your reg no. to receptionist when checking in. Room cleaned daily - fairly good standard. Towels regularly changed. Restaurant tables not cleaned very well. Backs of some chairs dirty. External restaurant windows needed cleaning. Restaurant staff uniforms should also always be clean & presentable! Restaurant staff should generally smile more, be friendlier and not look so sad & miserable at times. There was an exception - a young man name Kian Cross had incredibly good customer service. He was friendly, helpful, dressed smartly, was well presented and spoke very well. The Hilton should certainly look after staff of such calibre. If truth be told, we felt that with the name & reputation of the Hilton, the hotel is not displaying 4 star quality. Perhaps it's 3.5 star right now. All in all, however, it was a good stay.

It is undersized for the number of people staying and also understaffed. At 9am, peak breakfast time, tables are not cleared, there are long queues to allocated to a table, glasses and plates not restocked. Food such as bread, pastries, empty. The food, once you actually got it. was also pretty poor. For the price paid I would expect significantly better.

Booked DBB, tried hard to find out the allocation pp, called twice, I emailed 24 hours before that & never received reply. Needed to book dinner but said it was full so emailed to ask to book and also ask the allocation, I did get a booking but again my question to allocation was ignored, I emailed straight back and again this email never responded to, used messenger they came back with £38 pp for food & drink, thought perfect as that was what I was told on the phone but I did want it written down as know how things go !! So went to dinner, such a poor meal, we came covid time and I still talk about how nice the meal was, & reason went half board, I mentioned we had a DBB rate to be told they don’t do that, she went to ask and eventually come back to say yes, I hate that & was why I wanted it written down, i now know our half board was a complete waste of money sadly. starter arrived and I noticed the main dish I’d ordered 2 went to the next table but they had only ordered one. So the other just sat on the hot lamp for another 15 mins, not the best I feel, worse that I could see it and just knew what was going to happen. bill the allowance different to what everyone told me, granted only £3pp but again so annoying. Breakfast started to be cleared away 9.53, no one told was happening, but heard supervisor telling late comers they always tell guests before this was done, so the food part of stay really poor and wished I’d booked different hotel that was cheaper as waste

Fantastic family stay! Highly recommend.We stayed as a family of four and were incredibly impressed by the entire hotel. Our room was both spotlessly clean and very spacious, giving us plenty of comfort. The swimming pool facilities are excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed using the sauna and steam room. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. We will definitely be back!
