De Vere Beaumont Estate

Great stay at the De Vere, perfect for our family break and very handy for our visit to Legoland. Fantastic breakfast selection and nice feel throughout the hotel following the refurbishment. As has been mentioned, air conditioning in rooms would be a nice touch as they get very stuffy in recent warm weather and also a bit unusual in this level of hotel not to have a fridge in the room which would have been helpful. Overall great for families - we made use of the pool a couple of times during our 2 night stay.

Stayed in a family room, nice and clean but no Air con, rooms were so hot kids struggled to sleep. Only having 1 EV charger that worked and the hotel was busy so this was disappointing, how ever the bar staff were fantastic. Already have another stay booked here.

This is a big hotel so you could find yourself walking along way to your room. The room was clean. Nice firm bed and good water pressure in the shower. The hotel restaurant was very good with excellent staff and service. The food was very good. The hotel has a gym and pool which I used. Both were in good condition and clean. Overall a very good hotel I would stay here again.

The buffet dinner and breakfast provided excellent value for money, especially with children. The hotel itself was absolutely massive but the staff were helpful and provided maps. The room was comfy and well heated, although sone of the corridors and communal areas were a bit cold. The pool the next day was very nice for kids, with lots of pool noodles and floats for them to play with (although the changing room was FREEZING!) we came away loving our stay and promising that we’d be returning

Beautiful location and maintained to high standards. Everything worked as it should and we found it a relaxing stay. Gym and outdoor gym were very good. The Pool we didn't get to use as it was very family orientated so many children. So may not be perfect for couples but a great stay when visiting Windsor and the Castle.Not walkable distance though.

Looks better online. We had a few issues which the staff kindly sorted but it was very inconvenient. Lockers in gym/pool need urgent attention. All broken in both male & female. Pool water was a nice temperature. We had to change room due to other residents smoking. Restaurant & bar average. Grounds are nice but basic rooms let it down. Family room - pull out chair bed needs better mattress. However main bed is very big.

Was pleased with the hotel. Best we have stayed in and around Windsor. Food although is a good idea for the £20 meal, I found for the class of the hotel it could have used fresher ingredients for the roast dinner, frozen roast and Yorkshire puddings didn't really compliment the really great fresh meats that were available. I thought the changing rooms for the men at the swimming pool could have been kept an eye on better, i can cope with a bit of water on the floor but on this instance I thought it wasn't good enough for the hotel standards. Overall, I was really pleased with our stay and would definitely look to come back.

Huge property with well maintained gardens, nice pool and surroundings. Perfect for couples, families as well as elderly. Nice food at the restaurants with decent pricing. Really good breakfast spread. Comfortable beds. Overall a great experience!

Kids loved the outdoor area, outdoor gym, trim trail, nature walks, fountain, lounging cushions etc. Really beautfiul grounds. Well presented

Swimming pool was a lovely warm temperature. The staff we're very helpful, polite and checked us in/out quickly. Breakfast and dinner was nice, there was definitely a large variety to pick our meal from.

Found the receptionist rude on arrival, didn’t sleep due to next door rooms. Mould in bedroom also.

The hotel was modern and clean with great facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for all the theme parks!

Nice hotel but under Heathrow flight path so very loud at night. Bathroom wasn’t very clean, thick black hair throughout. The entrance to rooms has an awful door system, just take the doors off as it’s pointless and restrictive.

I waited in the swimming pool changing rooms for 45 mins with my little boy who was desperate to get in the pool. We were told maintenance were on there way to fix the lockers which were all damaged. I had my phone, wallet,and car keys with me. I didn't want to just leave them in an open locker. 3 times I went to reception. He eventually turned up and said reception were aware the lockers were damaged and he could not fix them. Unbelievable. I had to go back to reception to leave my valuables as the room was so far away. Then the room was very small. Lamp shades was dirty dust everywhere. And the tv didn't even work. Not the best experience as I travelled from Staffordshire to relax and ended up been very angry and stressed.

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s mostly great. Last night was poor. I booked a deluxe room and it was ok. But, it was right at the top of the building on the hottest day of the year. Not only that but there was no air conditioning and the wifi didn’t work. There was a fan in the room that was absolutely covered in dust, which sprayed across the room when turned on. Quite disgusting. One of the reasons I like this hotel is it has lots of conferences which means there’s always things going on and the bar/restaurant are great. Last night there was a conference on and they had a party, which I don’t mind (actually quite like). However this one was so roudy and went into the night. Needless to say I didn’t sleep and therefore today’s business was tough. I’d expect for £170 a night air conditioning and if not at least a clean fan and wifi that worked!

We stayed from Friday to Sunday, we had a major issue in our bathroom in room 1001. Very strong smell from the drains. It was fixed on the Saturday but by 11pm the smell came back. The night manager was super professional but the day staff didn’t have the same passion.

We had a lovely stay food was excellent the dinning areas were very good our bedroom was very clean and lovely rooms. We enjoyed the pool but was full of families so only stayed in for 30 minutes was a wonderful place with stunning grounds. Just one complaint my hand towels were really dirty had lots of makeup stains on them so did not use them. Was a relaxing stay but very hectic at meal times

Rooms were very clean and comfortable Staff always go above and beyond here. We have stayed here about 10 times and we love it every single time.

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. Very modern and clean rooms in modern extension to country house. Lovely bar and bistro if somewhat expensive. Lots of choice at breakfast in large dinnng area (a bit noisy) but really well done clean and modern. Lovely rooms, firm beds and hot shower and bath. Leisure suite good with good gym. Warm pool with topped off lane for lane swimming as well as enough room for kids and family. You can use it after checkout too. Friendly polite and helpful staff. Really fantastic experience.

For a deluxe room it wasn't as big has other hotel deluxe rooms. I reported that the tv couldn't pick up any terrestrial channels,bbc,itv and was basically brushed off by the person on the phone saying none of the rooms could we only had 3 watchable channels whe the tv chose to not freeze.

We got a very long queue to check-in (the line was out of the door), which was clearly bad luck/timing. Staff on reception did a great job getting everyone through as quickly as they could. The room was on the ground floor, very hot with one small fan provided. No bottled water in the room and no fridge. There are water stations you can use, but that has tepid temperature water. Hotel has lovely grounds, but could benefit from modernisation inside to include air conditioning

The hotel on arrival is exactly as it looks on the website and on Expedia. Beautiful building, grounds etc. Stunning. The actual hotel rooms however are not in the old building - they are built on to the back and are nothing like the pictures or photos. A little disappointing. Check in wasn't as smooth as I'd have liked - told to go back in 10 minutes, went back, told to go back in another half hour, went back, told to go back in another half hour. We did however wait in the bar which was lovely (as on photo's as old part of the hotel) and the food, drinks and service was excellent. very relaxed atmosphere and nice to sit and enjoy a drink. we had booked a family room with twin 12 year olds. our room was the furthest point away from reception and we had been given a disabled room which was fine as it had the space but the sofa bed provided for the children was very small. not big enough for 2 x 12 year olds. not a very nice smell of drains from the bathroom. car parking is a joy - lots of car parks but if there are functions on which there was on the weekend we were there, the main car parks are full so you have to park in the woodland car park which was then a 10-15 minute walk to our hotel room. the breakfast was good - plenty of tables and food well stocked. lots of choice. no complaints. its a nice hotel and I i think if i knew that the hotel rooms were nothing like the pics when we booked, I might not feel as disappointed.

Beautiful hotel but felt a little squashed in the room as it was a lot smaller than shown on the internet.

The hotel grounds items were lovely and clean, bedrooms outdated and sofa beds are absolutely awful. The issue we had was that when we arrived our room wasn’t available at check in (3pm) - we didn’t actually get access to our room until 4pm as it wasn’t ready until then. On the morning of check out (11am) we went down for breakfast, when we returned to our rooms at 0830am the cleaner was already in there cleaning our rooms and stripping the beds of the sheets despite us not having yet checked out. When this was raised with reception staff, they didn’t seem overly concerned and asked if we have removed our bags from the room. I informed them we had but is beside the point - we were planning on using the room to freshen up after breakfast. Really wasn’t impressed. The food was good quality, although over priced for the variety and wouldn’t be likely to stay here again.

The hotel was fine bar the lack of air conditioning. It was sweltering and we got very little sleep as a result. The window only opened very slightly (legitimate safety reasons) and a fan was supplied. However the rooms were priced at the higher end and summers are only getting hotter.

Family room includes a small double sofa bed, not suitable for 2 children. Rooms don’t have air conditioning. The main hotel building is nice but nearly all accommodation is in multiple blocks to the rear that I would liken to an early 90s roadside Travelodge. The reception was chaos when we arrived with a lot of people trying to check in and children running around. Would not recommend or stay again

Room was very dated. No air con, instead there was a small loud fan which didn’t do much. Room was so far away from reception

Rooms were like ovens. Some of the rooms are far enough away from the from counter to be in the next county. It’s a very, very long walk in carpets that don’t let luggage roll. No one to help, no entrances from the multitude of car parks. The lack of AC was terrible during the oppressive heat. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Almost devoid of direction signs in this sprawling buildings.

Not quiet. Using a leaf blower at 8am is going to inconvenience guests. Thin walls.

Hotel was nice enough however the staff need some serious training in some happy place, the staff were all so miserable and would not smile or acknowledge us. Two exceptions was the Asian lady at the Carvery taking the payments she was an absolute delight. The reception team were also nice and very professional. Rest of the general staff were terrible.

Excellent 2 night birthday stay. Breakfast was amazing with an excellent choice including Gluten Free with dedicated toaster. Our evening meal in 1705 restaurant was delicious. Staff were outstanding too in all areas of the hotel. Would highly recommend this family friendly hotel Thanks to the whole team! Only criticism - just one bedside lamp, so we used the desk lamp.

Unplanned/ last minute stay for business. Superb service from check in, lovely attentive staff in the main restaurant & bar. The dinner was delicious. Returned to stay again later in the week as this hotel was closer to where I was working, and couldn’t fault in any way.

My room was serviced before I had checked out and items I had in the room had been removed including very confidential documents. I later recovered them but some of my items including toiletries and drink had been destroyed. I was told I could write to Guest relations but quite clearly a waste of time as it would not achieve anything for me personally or replace the items thrown away.

The most family friendly stay I’ve ever experienced. Happy staff keen to help. Lots of room and ideas for families to relax/ run off steam. Had to change rooms but it was our choice and it was not a bother.

We received a nice welcome at the reception desk and told we should be able to check in early so went to the bar and had a drink whilst we waited. The bar staff were quite chaotic and disorganized. When we entered our room it smelt very musty almost as though someone has been smoking in the room. We were impressed by the comfort of the room but it had no view. The bathroom felt small but was clean. There was flaking paint in the back of the bathroom door. A fridge and some bottled water in the room would have been appreciated. We enjoyed a good night sleep but as our room was located by a corridor door we had to put up with constant slamming / banging until 2am! We were also rudely awakened by the family next door have a loud argument before 8am which ruined the much needed lay in we had been craving. Over all we were happy but salt wouldn't rush back.

we have stayed here before and returned again the surroundings are beautiful and the hotel is lovely . very clean and staff can’t do enough for you .Alex the manager was an absolute star as we had had an issue the night before he couldn’t so enough for us

Hotel is very large, they give you a map to find room, as you wander round trying to find room, you keep passing same people also with maps. Interior was lovely, room was good. Food was terrible! We went to brassiere not realising it was a buffet, the food was cold and although only 3 people in to eat and it was well staffed restaurant they will not serve drinks, you have to keep going to bar. As there was little choice of drinks we then went to main bar after meal , it took 51 mins to get two drinks! When I asked were our drinks were we were told average wait to 30 mins. It turned out someone else had been given our drinks, twice! We tried to complain to manager but we were left waiting and gave up!! Will never stay there again even though we have work close by.

This is a lovely well kept hotel. It is surrounded in a well kept grounds. Great location for visiting Windsor as it is served by bus8 direct to town.

Loverly hotel, room nice and big. Love the Christmas decorations! Perfectly close to Legoland and Windsor castle

Great room, service, hotel amenities. Not much to walk to outside of the hotel but just a few minute ride to areas of interest.

We stayed one night- when visiting Windsor. Best hotel to stay in that is close by to the castle- the estate is beautiful, the facilities are all clean and modern. It’s only a couple of minutes drive to the centre! Staff were lovely and helpful.

Need a car, but the area is pretty specially if you’re visiting Windsor.

Lovely setting and amazing interiors. We love plane watching so great to see planes overhead from Heathrow. Room a little on small side but had everything we needed including an iron and ironing board. Duvet was very thick n heavy which would be great in winter but much too warm in summer.

Hotel is beautiful, great location near Windsor. Only issue we had was no room service and no bar food in the evening so difficult to eat at night.

The situation with food is completely confusing. The website doesn’t say that you can only sit in the restaurant if you have booked and no dogs are allowed. You can’t eat in the bar and your only option is a buffet. We asked 3 times and got different answers and there is also no room service. The buffet was actually really good but everyone we saw did the same as us as it made no sense. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent staff - attentive £22 for a 3 course unlimited buffet- kids under 5 free - food excellent quality and hot! Pool big and clean Grounds well kept Some areas needed a lick of paint Plenty of loo roll! Great for kids - although the restaurant was very busy and noisy (fine for us as we have kids!)

Clean room, evening meal was excellent both quality and price. Really good choice at breakfast.

We feel the bedroom was very small, probably to fit the small bed. The evening meal had one very poor main course and was hardly eaten - please avoid the Risotto as it was so stodgy. It was taken away with no apology or offer to remove from the bill. Breakfast was disappointing as all the hot food was actually Luke warm or cold. The restaurant area reminded my Wife of a badly run Butlins’ canteen.

Absolutely brilliant stay as a family with a 3 year old. We dined in at the buffet (a scary notion for a coeliac), the staff made me a pizza to order to ensure I wasn’t ill and also did the same with my breakfast in the morning. They have allergy matrix out and as soon as I said coeliac they were all exceedingly accommodating and mentioned cross contamination before I could. It genuinely felt like they cared. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Breakfast was OK. Would not say it was great. Also it was supposed to run until 10am. We arrived at 9:30 to grab a quick bite and before we even sat down all the breakfast things were being cleared away. Not very welcoming.

Good quality food including all sorts of things from fresh fruit to eggs (scrambled or fried), sausages etc, porridge with all sorts of options, breads, cheeses, juices, everything!
