Super 8 by Wyndham El Dorado

Dog friendly. No elevator, exterior doors don't. unlock (no card reader). No cups in room. Ok overall.

This Super 8 has a large parking area to the side for semi-trucks and RV's, and some eating options nearby so we don't have to detach the pulled car. It would be excellent if the entrance/exit where the RV's are parked weren't quite so low. Our 1-king room was better than previous times here.

The property outside was good. We have a motorhome and there was plenty of room to park right next to the hotel

I checked out a day early so I requested a credit for early check out with the clerk in person upon checking out. It was high school graduation weekend, and they were fully booked and shouldn't have had a problem renting the room again as I left very early in the morning. I called the hotel on three occasions asking the status of my refund and was told each time they would ask their manager and get back with me. I never received a call back. I sent three emails requesting my refund and still haven't received any replies or refund from my emails. Bath towels are the size of a hand towel. North side exit door is broken so anybody can gain access to the rooms without a key card with is a major security issue. Breakfast choices are very limited. Front desk clerk is never at the front desk. Overall, I was very disappointed in my stay. I had stayed at this hotel two years ago and my visit two years ago was pleasant. I'm not sure what changed but I will not stay here again. I'm still waiting to hear back on my refund.

Clean but no ice machine

Stayed with a group for a baseball tournament. Tried to shorten our trip because we lost our game by notifying them at 9pm that we would be checking out the next morning (one day early). Refused to let us shorten the trip and forced us to pay for the night we were not there. You have to have your key reprogrammed constantly. One room from our group had no AC in July. After being moved to another room their new room the tv didn’t work. Another room had roaches. Never anyone at the front desk to help you. Website says they had a bar - not true. Housekeeping did not visit our room once in three days. DO NOT STAY HERE Stayed at the Baymont across the street about a month previously for baseball and it was even worse. Both locations are owned by the same people.

The first thing on arrival was a sign at the front desk that said the check in person was "walking the property" and listed a phone number to call". This sign was displayed frequently in the two days we were there instead of a real person to talk to. The second red flag was after we checked in and went to the room and discovered trash on the bedside table and desk which you have to assume was left from the previous guest. We had to wonder if the room had been cleaned well. The towels in the bathroom looked dirty and stained. We went to the desk to request replacements and no one was there to help. (Just the sign with a phone number) The handle of the shower fell off during a shower. The hallway carpet was obviously dirty and remained that way. Also, our room was on the second floor and there is no elevator. So, if you have mobility issues, don't stay here. In addition to a room charge, the property charged a $50 fee to "cover incidentals that will be removed from your card the day after checkout". This fee indeed was charged on my card but did NOT appear on the receipt from the hotel. When we returned home, we immediately removed our clothes and washed everything out of fear for bed bugs (I observed a tiny bug on my arm on the way home). This was a very bad experience and I want to warn people NOT to stay at this property!!

Great parking for semi’s

They didn't have the handicap room available that we booked and no elevator so my 80 year old uncle had to climb a flight of stairs. we had booked king deluxe rooms and there was NOTHING deluxe about it. The employees were very rude and we nointerested at all in our comfort or convien

It has a large area for parking our RV (with a car in tow). Parking lot could use some more gravel, but it's good sized.

Most nastiest hotel i ever been too blood stains on the blankets

This was without a doubt the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. The lobby was filthy and the rooms were worse. Trash cans still had trash in them, dust you could write your name in, lights didn’t work, no toilet paper, sinks and shower wer not cleaned, bed spread had stains on them and when I pulled it back the sheets were already used. They actually pulled the spread up over used sheets. My dog stays in much better conditions than this. Avoid at all costs. You are better off sleeping in your car.

Does not appear they own a vacuum. I am not a fussy person but this is ABSOLUTELY NOT A REDO.

I’m not a person that needs a fancy hotel by any means, as long as it’s clean, this hotel was definitely not that. The hotel was filthy, there was garbage and dirt all over the floor in the hallway, when I walked into the room there were stands of hair on everything, the sink in the bathroom was visibly dirty, the vent was falling out of the ceiling, the floor was gross, to the point I refused to take my shoes off even once. The chair in the corner was covered in stains. The bedding appeared okay. For the price I honestly didn’t expect much, but this hotel was gross and the location is a little sketchy as well.

Just seemed like everything was not so clean. Like things have been cleaned, just the actually cleaning process isn’t getting everything cleaned thoroughly.

One orange, one apple and bread was in a plastic container still in the wrapper. Then they wanted a $50 credit card or $100 cash for incidentals. What incidentals. I refused to pay. No staff to greet you, you had to call a number and obviously someone living there came down to check you in. They should lose their franchise license.

Sheets were NOT clean. Large stain on the duvet & when I pulled the sheets back, several stains. Disgusting

Not clean at all. The toilet was loose from the floor. The bathtub faucet was very loose. We had no TV.

Checking in was fine, but when I got the to room that’s when things took a turn. I’m not usually one to complain, but this hotel was awful… The room was absolutely filthy. The blankets and sheets were stained. The refrigerator had food in it from the previous people. The bathtub was filthy. The floor was caked in dirt. Thankfully they offered us another room and the receptionist was nice. That room wasn’t as bad. The fridge was dirty and mirrors were nasty, but the blankets appeared clean and the floor was better. Definitely would not stay here again…

The noise directly above ys was unbearable. Laying carpet? Trackmeet? Icemaker was also broken.

Deceiving pics on website. Looked like a rehabed La Quinta. However, it wasn’t like them. It had PICTURES of rock sidewalls, not real rock like the La Quinta. The desk was nice but the entire property was run down. Room was old looking tho king bed was nice. Had to ask for full size towels as our room didn’t have any. Towels were big, soft and really nice. Shower was nasty and looked to have mold growing under the shower mat. Both the soap and shampoo in the shower were empty. It was cheap and that was the best part. Won’t stay there again

Very disappointed with this hotel, first room the zircon did not work, was then moved to another one which had a very unpleasant stale smell, but at least the aircon worked. I should have known what to expect when the car park was full of work pick up trucks. The entrance hall was all muddy from the workers boots. I could hear dogs barking from some of the rooms although, the second room I was placed in was further down the hall from them. The next morning at 6.45 am I went to the breakfast area to get a coffee, this was barely Luke warm. The guy behind the desk was more interested in playing games on his phone. I gave up and left, needless to say, I will not be stopping here again. I get the impression from staying in many of these Asian Indian run hotels that they are only interested in providing the bare minimum, even down to maintenance to maximise profits. Once again, the photos on the site are misleading and not really representative of what it looks like now. The Hotel owners should be made to post new photos every 3 years to show reality rather than what it looked like when built.

Best price in the area. Good value. Bed was comfortable. Decent breakfast choices. Could not connect to internet - movies, evident wear and tear

We were in room 111. Wow what a night This room is by the main entrance and by the stairs. I might of got 3 hours of sleep all night. We could hear everyone gong up and down the stairs ALL NIGHT. Not a good experience. Make room 111 into storage or something

I was sent to a room someone was already staying in. Next, another patron and I couldn’t get my door of the 2nd room to open. It also did not look like it had been vacuumed in a while.

We asked for a mobility convenience room. You could not get a wheelchair in there if you wanted to. Luckily I didn't need one. The bed was supposed to be queen and it was more full size. Lamp shade was torn. We found blood on floor at foot of the bed. We called management and they brought us a mop and said return when you are done. Was noisy all night couldn't sleep. There was someone going around knocking on doors at 2 a.m. asking for someone to call management to front desk. We tried calling and no one answered. Will never stay there again.

First room the mini fridge didn't work. Was moved to a different room where the mini fridge didn't work, tv wouldn't connect & the ac wasn't cooling the room. We moved back to the first room.

There was never anyone at the desk when you needed them. The breakfast sucked all there was to eat was cereal and spoiled orange juice. There was a waffle maker and a toaster but nothing for them. The hotel had a smell to it.

Stayed 5 nights no housekeeping was done at all

I know they said they were short staffed, but i was there 2 weeks, they could have peeked in 1-2x to see if the room needed anything. I even left the little door notice hanging from the handle for 3 days. I dont much care abour sheets and things being changed, but trash would help (I kept mine neat, but had 3 walmart bags by the end of stay). Not a bad place. Just check on long term rooms once in a while.

A $50 security deposit required, but clerk initially refused to provide a receipt for the deposit. Door lock extremely difficult to open. TV did not work, & clerk took 15-20 minutes to get it going.

The tall young man at the front was verry rude. He got upset I could not understand his English. I was told where to not park and when I ask where to park he said that is not a parking spot. The room had the last persons dirty wash cloth and scrubber for the shower in the bathroom. The walls and ceiling were water damage and leaking currently. The curtain did not work. The non stop beeping noise was not comfortable to listen to for the 8 hours I was there with my minor daughter. I would not let her out of eyesight in this shady location

Stayed one night on our way through to Eureka, Ks. Room was clean. Breakfast is grab and go as no sit down, but that's to be expected at this price point. I would stay again. Communication via email regarding stay was great. Several emails before and after our stay.

This hotel was the best compared to the other hotels around the area. The walls are thin so you may hear a tv through the walls. That’s my only complaint. It is in a good area with dining options and a Walmart near by. It was great for the price.

Stay here everytime we go thru town. Great Mexican food close by.

I stayed only one night as a stopover on my return home. I chose the Super 8 because of its convenience, price, and pet-friendliness. My room was simply furnished but met my needs.

First charged $25 for a dog + deposit charged to card. Ok came for breakfast in morning (6:30 not late) made a waffle but no syrup, toaster but no bread or butter, coffee but no creamer, sugar. The only thing they had was cereal but no sugar. No one around to replenish supplies. We went out for breakfast when we got back to check out I looked at breakfast area still nothing. I would never go back besides being noisy early am.

Kinda dirty, no hot breakfast. Would NOT recommend.

The sheets were clean and the bed was good. The bathtub wasn’t very clean. The free breakfast was a joke. Two types of cold cereal and waffles. There was no syrup for the waffles.

Checking inwas wasy. Room was nice and bed comfortable. That was about it. Toilet and ahower were dirty and flower need to be cleaned. My son's white socks were black from the floor. Then what made me the most angry was the breakfast. There was no juice, only coffee. I don't drink coffee. The waffle mix was wnpty and the girl just smiled and said they were out of it and didnt have anymore. The only things they had were small granola bars, oatmeal with now water to make it with and toast. The butter was a tub of butter that looked like little kids played in it. Very disappointed in the breakfast. The only reason i picked this Super 8 over other hotels was for the breakfast. Definitely need to be prepared for breakfast.

Current owners have definitely tried to renovate and improve property, but still falls short of my expectations based on the pictures online. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very continental, but served its purpose. Price reflects hotel condition.

They didn’t have coffee in your room and the coffee they offered in the lobby was very weak. They didn’t replenish the breakfast items when they ran out.

Room was clean and the staff were pleasant. The breakfast was less than expected. Not much there but cereal and a few pieces of fruit.
