I picked this hotel because it’s close to home and I walk in that area a couple times a week .I was very disappointed because the pool and pool area were closed due to the pool being out of order .If I had know this I would not have chosen this location with so many nice places to stay near by that did have pools available .I did not know the pool was unavailable until I went down to the front desk with my bathing suit on to ask for a towel .Stay wasn’t the same because that pool was one of the main reasons I went .

Great location and very clean room. The gym did not have a functioning Air condition. Things got very stuffy with four people trying to work out. Otherwise the rest of my stay was excellent.

Exercise room was under construction. They offered access to 24-hour gum next door. Also, the elevators were not working. Had to use Service elevators. Food was large portions but lacked seasoning and was served lukewarm.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The beds were comfy, room spacious, and the bathroom was well appointed with full sized toiletries instead of only tiny shampoos/conditioners that are just never enough. I have never wanted to take a bath at a hotel, because I never trust the cleanliness of the tubs, but that was not the case here. I actually wanted to soak in the tub and had I had more time at the property I might have. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and were out of the room early on checkout day. The pool, though a tad smaller than I expected from the photos online, was very warm and beautifully situated on the property overlooking the waterfall and lake next to the hotel. There are multiple small eateries within walking distance of the hotel which was great for our family. The only downside to this hotel was that they apparently do not offer free wifi. They only offer “high speed” wifi at a rate of $13/day. I find that to be a little absurd that modern hotel does not offer free wifi. Every hotel I’ve stayed at in the last 10 years has offered this service without an additional charge. Thankfully, we weren’t in dire need of it for our short stay, but if we were there for longer or on a business trip, that would have been an expensive surcharge for something that most other places include with their nightly rate.

Sparkling new property with brilliant modern industrial interior design. I love the warm neutral, copper and bronze touches throughout the property. The property is in a new mixed used development with more coming called City Place. There is a serene plaza area with manicured gardens, fountains and seating and a manmade lake too next to the hotel. I actually stayed here for work last year and liked it so much that I decided to do a staycation with a friend. Across the street are several dining options, a movie theatre even a gym. Free parking around the property too. My favorite luxury brand amenities added the next level for the bathroom experience. I would stay here again. Only minor negatives: wifi was not free and logging into their wifi with Marriott Bonvoy membership was impossible so I couldn't use my phone in the room & no complimentary water bottles for tea/coffee in the room.

Property located in a bad abandoned area it look sketchy as soon as we walked in decided to give it a try because we are not familiar with the area but as soon as roaches started appearing in the room and our son ended up in the hospital because of animal bite at the hotel from we don’t know what we left the place.

Great hotel, only 2 issues. First was the water pressure, barely any. Second was the no microwave even though they had a fridge. The room was great, comfortable and the staff were great!

The pros: It was in a nice area. The front desk service was excellent. The cons: It was very noisy. Paper thin walls. Also, the breakfast included option is a $50 non-refundable fee that is charged to your card and can only be used on breakfast food. So my husband and I literally had to order $50 worth of breakfast (which is A LOT for only 2 people). If I had to do it over again, I would save my money the next time and not pay upfront for the breakfast. If you do this you can use your $50 on any meal of the day or even room service. Just more flexibility all the way around.

The hotel was clean and conveniently placed. The decor was absolutely beautiful and the room and shower were quite clean. The bed, however, was very hard and difficult to sleep on. My daughter attempted to sleep on the couch in the room instead but it was not a fold out (which in the hotel’s defense was not an expectation) and it was also super stiff! The room also had no microwave which at this point should be available for stays longer than overnight. I found the ice machine in a common area on my floor but still no microwave. During check in, the gentleman checking me in lacked customer service skills as he seemed to have a negative attitude. He didn’t even stand while checking me in. No greeting, nothing. He gave me my cards, explained the garage and the WiFi, and sent me on my way towards elevators. The other gentleman who was not checking me in, however, was friendly, polite, and even smiled and spoke (well wishes) as I walked away. The young lady in the morning had a cheerful and friendly attitude and answered all my questions, she even explained the microwave situation😁. The young man at vallet was fantastic and although one can tell he had a long tiring day, he still had a positive and friendly disposition. The house keeper was also very kind and friendly. She left my room in perfect shape.

The staff of the restaurant was amazing! Very attentive for our lunch. And the portions were generous. Our room was 7006, and the A/C was not cooling. The thermostat showed the room temp to be 66, but it was hot and uncomfortable all night.

Wifi was a joke. No service in hotel yet still charged even when let them know i had to use my own cell hotspot for internet. Front desk was often more preoccupied playing with each other than helping. Lobby was excessively loud at late late hours with drunks. Rooms had little to no sound proofing. Could literally hear people making love 2 rooms over. Good for them, bad on hotel on not ensuring their privacy. Only positive experience was turn down was quick effecient and super friendly, they even left lollipops for guests.

No one who checked in this hotel after 1 o’clock has received the room key. We are being escorted to our rooms when we need to get in and out which is highly inconvenient. I don’t know what your recovery plan is but this is ridiculous.

From my check in to check out, everything was superb. I have never met a friendlier staff. Even when I strolled in the extremely early AM hours. If I am in the Houston area again, I will only stay here, period. Thank you for making this trip a great one

Definitely not worth the price. While convenient to major employers and food, the service was lacking. I was put into an occupied room and walked in on someone. The second day, the staff forgot to book in my breakfast order for in room delivery and it was an hour late. Lastly, the meal was billed inaccurately and I had to call to correct it. While these mistakes happen, it shouldn’t happen when paying a premium price.

The hotel is nice. Clean, comfortable room. Slept well. Desk people were all great, but wasn’t so great was the valet attendants. The one we left the car with when we checked in told my husband he would have the car ready for us at 10 am- but it wasn’t. The attendant in the morning said he knew nothing about it and was put out by the whole thing. Took his time getting the car and didn’t apologize for making us late or being inconvenienced. The housekeeper stood outside our room loudly talking to someone on speaker phone for at least an hour before we left. So from about 9 am until 10 am. So basically a lot of unprofessional and rude staff made our stay less than exceptional. We won’t be back.

Our stay coincided with Memorial Day weekend,a regional football tournament, and a soccer tournament, so the hotel was fully booked. All the staff members we encountered were lovely, and the property absorbed the masses with no problem. Ordered room service and were prepared to wait for an eternity for it. Much to our surprise the food came in less than 30 minutes, and was great. Kudos to the staff for providing excellent service.

This property accommodated so many requests for the first time flight/family trip with our baby, including respecting our scent allergies and not leaving strong fragrances in the room. They even included unscented toiletries for us. VERY IMPRESSED with the staff. Rooms were immaculately clean and I am very picky about this.

The location is the selling factor of this hotel. It has a beautiful outdoor area for walking and spending nights outside talking. Several places to grab food, coffee, even a movie theater in walking distance. The hotel was average. The room faced the parking garage. You have to pay to park in garage or can get free parking on street in front of hotel. Didn't eat at restaurant so no comment there.

We were here because we were attending a 75th birthday party and so we booked this hotel because of that. We did not realize that city place was business district and that there were no shops and very little restaurants around. I imagine for the business travel and convention go this would be an excellent place. It’s a very beautiful hotel Has lots of places to just sit around comfortably and maybe chat with your business associates. Definitely not family oriented. Lovely property. We came in through the parking garage. We should’ve come in through the front of the hotel like we normally do and we would’ve known that , there’s lots of free parking on the street and safe because there’s nothing around.

My fiance and I booked an overnight stay here. We've never stayed here before. The hotel is nice and the area around the hotel offers options for food/drink and appears to be in a safe area. The guys in valet were the best part of the hotel. Very friendly, fast and polite. The room we had was large and comfy. Bed was average as far as comfort level. Walls seem to be very thin as we were able to hear the conversations next to us as well as the tv shows being watched very clearly. Looks like a newer hotel so was a little shocked with that. We went down for a bite to eat and drink at the lobby bar and half the bar and some of the tables were occupied. Not busy by any means, but there wasn't a place to sit at the bar as dishes, food and glasses were in the open seats. Not a greeting or anything from the TWO bartenders working. We stood at a spot for about 5 minutes or so and waited and nothing. Again, not busy by any means, but to not even greet waiting guests??? In the morning my fiance ordered a coffee from the bar and the woman looked like she didn't know she was doing. My fiance didn't even get what she asked for after taking a drink but was so irritated by the service, we just got coffee elsewhere. Maybe some more attention towards the bar/restaurant as far as "service"?

Very nice staycation! Staff outstanding.. very clean and midern rooms nice and good size. Food and service at the on-site restaurant was spectacular! The pulled pork burger was the "smaller choice" was huge and delicious as were the sweet potato fries and generous pour Old Fashioned!!! Pool and decking is small for this size of a hotel.. we were fortunate to get a spot out of maybe 10.. but it's a beautiful pool. Too bad they dont have Bar service ... you have to walk through the conference center and lobby to the bar. But that's a comment that they could make a few bucks more than that an unhappy one. Deserves the high star ratings it gets!
