Close to boardwalk (2 blocks), shares a pool with the Tropicana. The rooms exceeded my expectations on cleanliness. The only thing that kinda sucked was parking. You will either be able to park with access to leave, but will need to keep your Keys with front desk OR you will have to parked and be completely backed in by other cars, and ask front desk to move them. They are quick about it though. I would come here again.

The pool is very small and there is no shade and no umbrellas for those that want to sit by the pool. Because this place is not motel style, there wasn’t anywhere to hang wet beach towels or bathing suits so it’s not the most ideal spot if you plan to do the beach. The location is great, close walk to the boardwalk. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a leak in the ceiling of our room which had caused the drywall to fall on us while sleeping but they moved us to a new room as soon as we notified them of the issue.

Good location and nice room. Very clean. The parking garage is a little hard to navigate because it has a lot of columns. Overall it was a great stay for us, just being there for one night for an event at the convention center.

We have stayed here before and you cannot beat the location, a short walk to the boardwalk. Wonderful for walking the boards and then getting back to the room to relax after all the great sea air. Last time we stayed the front desk team was super friendly. This time we got courteous service in and out, which is appreciated, but not super friendly. The toilet seat was not properly affixed and the shower did not drain, which I found unsanitary.

Rooms are nice and clean. Bed is comfortable. Tv is large. However. Floors are not carpeted so you hear every movement in the room above. Soundproofing is minimal , hallways are loud and room was on a busy street. Also there is no coffee in the morning in the lobby. If it was not so loud i would rate it higher.

The room was very clean, the beds were super comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well. No problems with the TV. The gentlemen that checked us in and out were both very courteous. The young lady behind the desk however, was surly, unfriendly, and not welcoming. There was no place to hang clothes in the room, and the refrigerator was not working right. The only way to make drinks cold was to jam them into the small freezer portion. The pool was tiny, and the neighboring motel very close. Parking was very limited and cramped. Fortunately we were given a street parking pass by the man that checked us in, though we were afraid to leave for fear of losing our spot. There were huge bins of dirty linens which remained outside of our window when we looked out, which was pretty gross. Our room had no balcony or deck. Not sure if any of the rooms there did. Wi-Fi worked fine.

Property was in a great location, one block from the boardwalk. Check-in was a breeze and the staff at the front was fine. They had us park is the Tropicana lot in the back, that parking lot was TIGHT with one lane for the in and out. The room looked newly renovated, the shower didn’t look the cleanest and the floors had a couple of sticky spots that house cleaning missed. The bed was not very comfortable but was fine for a night. My biggest complaint would be the thin walls, you could hear everything from people talking to their toilets flushing. It also sounded like we had elephants in the room above us, you could hear every step of the adults and child running back and forth until midnight.

I was told the property is only five years old. I say bravo. Great addition to Wildwood. I have stayed only at the Pan American in recent years because my experience with the smaller motels/hotels pre-pandemic was not good. Nice staff, but dingy smelling facilities at places other than the Pan American pre-pandemic. Well, The Waves is clean, and while rooms are on the smaller size, you will have everything you need including a good size fridge. Our third-floor room safe did not work and they need to invest in a lined shower curtain and install a safety bar in the bathroom because the nice tile in the wall is slippery, but I was pleased with the clean facility, especially the clean room which smelled clean - great - instead of like a chemically-based air freshener. Many air fresheners are not healthy, so glad they did not have any. The staff was friendly, but sometimes they were lost in conversation when you would pass them by. Stilll in all, they were nice and appreciated your business. I did not have time to take advantage of the breakfast. I would stay again.

The clerk was not at the front desk at check in. We had to call a phone number that was left at the desk and she would come down. We stayed out of season so the area was like a ghost town so that's prb why. Hotel was clean and quiet.

Because of a convention being in town. All of the handicapped parking was used for hotel guests to sit in their lawn chairs and talk and eat. Lots of people congregated there making it extremely difficult to get to the front door. The staff really didn’t care. I left 2 days early because of parking difficulties. The girl at the desk promised she would call me back that day to let me know.After a few calls back and talking to various people who said they would call me back, still waiting. Terrible customer service by this hotel.

The Waves has become my favorite place to stay in Wildwood. The staff is amazing and very welcoming. The property is beautiful. It’s a home away from home! Will definitely be back next year.

When we showed up to the hotel, half the city was out of power. I called them and he happily moved me to another hotel they managed accross the street that had power. Amazing customer service for something that was out of their control.

I received a call earlier in the day asking what time I would be arriving, i told him that I was not sure and asked was it a problem; the gentleman said no he was just checking. We arrived late around 9pm. Poor service, no one at check-in when we arrived, sign up for us to call a number for service! Gentleman came apologized said he was in the kitchen. I asked what were the hours for the continental breakfast in the morning and was told they do not do it during off season! This is not listed on the website! Walls are really thin I could hear the person snoring in the room next door, did not sleep well. When we left still no one at the front desk!

The hotel was clean. The staff was very accommodating. The only downfall was that they stated breakfast included. However, when we went down at 8:30 am they only had slices of bread. No bagels. Not enough to go around.

The rooms and hotel were updated and VERY clean. Tub had some rust around the fixtures and a chip out of it, but was clean and sanitized. Location and parking are fantastic and they do serve coffee and muffins in the morning.

The young lady, who seemed like she was behind the desk all the time, was very nice and friendly. The room and hotel was clean and seems to be fairly recently renovated. The only areas for improvement ... (1) could use something more for breakfast than cereal, yogurt, and toast/muffins. I think they might at times have some fruit, but were always out when we were there. (2) parking. Love that is is "under" the building and mostly in shade, but I really did not like leaving my keys at the desk so they can move my car if someone else that is parked in needs to leave, etc. Not sure what the answer is.

The property was in a convenient location…walk a block to the boardwalk or walk to a nearby breakfast spot. A few things about the hotel room itself that I did not like was… 1. No hooks anywhere to hang your towels! When you’re at the beach, you have a lot of towels and bathing suits that you need to dry off and there were no hooks anywhere! 2. The sink was super high up that my 7 year old had a hard time spitting into the sink! 3. The room was not “soundproof” as it had stated 4. There was no breakfast served! Just coffee. The staff were very nice and friendly so I would stay here again because of the convenience and location. I would just bring my own clothes rack/line and hooks to hang up all the towels and bathing suits!

I received a call earlier in the day asking what time I would be arriving, i told him that I was not sure and asked was it a problem; the gentleman said no he was just checking. We arrived late around 9pm. Poor service, no one at check-in when we arrived, sign up for us to call a number for service! Gentleman came apologized said he was in the kitchen. I asked what were the hours for the continental breakfast in the morning and was told they do not do it during off season! This is not listed on the website! Walls are really thin I could hear the person snoring in the room next door, did not sleep well. When we left still no one at the front desk!
