Nice small boutique hotel, excellent pillows and we loved shower. It’s valet only and it does not have too much space for breakfast area, but decent breakfast with granola, yogurt, fresh fruit and a pastry of your choice.

4-star rating for a 3-star experience. The Hotel looks very good in the lobby area, but there are several items that need to be improved. Here is a list of items that I found during my stay: 1.- Starting with the elevator: the button panel needs to be fixed in one of the elevators. 2.- The room's A/C needs general maintenance; when we first arrived at our room it smelled like a dirty humid room. When the A/C has not been cleaned for a while. 3.- The bed mattress needs to be replaced, I had better mattresses on a Courtyard. 4.- The toilet seat needed replacement it was old and damaged. And there are amenities that are more of a motel type of level. The rooms are not built to have a quiet nite stay, you could hear the cars passing by all night (thankfully the road was not very busy during our stay). We could hear our neighbors cough! And we had the staff visit our room because the guests in the lower level were complaining about the noise. Our kids were playing around the room and that could be heard in the room downstairs! My kids were not screaming, they were just moving from one side of the room to the other. And finally, the waiting staff needs to be trained, in our fist breakfast we had to wait 40 minutes for our continental breakfast to arrive... YES!!!! 40 minutes for a small bowl of fruit, yogurt, raw granola, and one pre-made pastry. Also, do not be fooled by the "Free Breakfast amenity"; there are only 2 free continental breakfasts per room.

Wonderful, spacious, and secluded hotel! It was so close to everything we wanted to do. Check in was easy (keep in mind that there’s no self parking on site, only valet), rooms were comfortable, and the pool area is so relaxing! Definitely will be coming back

Stayed here for our daughter's 16th birthday. Wonderful experience. Great service and beautiful property. 5 minute drive to Universal Studios and about 30 min to Hollywood. The property is clean and welcoming. They offer continental breakfast every morning. The pool is super cute -small but very quaint. I would stay here again. Thank you so much!

Hotel Amarano is a really wonderful hotel. We stayed 4 nights while visiting friends in the valley, and the hotel is a luxurious home base. The breakfast food and service is outstanding, the pool and hot tub fantastic. We avoided the $45 a night parking by using the plentiful street parking around the hotel.

First time staying here . We slept here for nights. We went to universal studios for my sons birthday weekend this hotel is definitely a close and convenient location wife and kids loved this place the guest service was awesome staff was great definitely a great and peaceful location. Only down fall was the jacuzzi was out of service so we were kinda bummed out about it. But we definitely will back.. loved this place.

normally I don’t write negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. During my stay, I was shocked to discover blood on my pillow after getting out of bed. This was extremely disturbing and clearly unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint. The next morning, I went down to speak with the staff. The staff I spoke with was friendly and apologetic, but unfortunately, he wasn’t the manager. He mentioned taking off a few drink charges from the bill, but I only noticed one removed. I appreciate his demeanor and effort, and I don’t want to fault the staff personally — he did what he could within his role. That being said, finding blood on hotel bedding is a serious hygiene issue, and it made me feel very uncomfortable during my stay. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their cleanliness standards going forward.

The staff is super nice and professional. The valet makes everything so easy. The room was huge. The whole hotel was spotless. The food was awesome, even if it was a bit pricey. Room service was great, and everyone was so friendly. We've stayed here before, and I'm so glad we came back! My only complaint is the bed could be comfier, but that's just me since I like softer beds. Otherwise, it was perfect!

My room looked like it had been sitting for days. Ants all over the bathroom counter. A spider behind the toliet. Flies in shower. A dead bug under the TV. Dust webs hanging over bed. Makeup stains on pillows. I was told they would deep clean my room when I complained but they never did. The staff was friendly and the location was in a nice area. They charged me $300 when I arrived for no reason. Still waiting for it back.

Very clean hotel, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.. Free Alkaline water bottles while you stayed and they were all over hotel and pool area in a cooler of ice.. Prices were reasonable and the area was very close to Warner Bros and universal Studios..

**Mixed Experience – Some Good, Some Bad** Our stay had both positives and negatives. First, be aware of the hidden fees: a $40+tax amenities fee and a steep $45+tax per night parking fee. On the bright side, the valet service was excellent, and the doorman provided outstanding service—always welcoming us with a warm smile, which we truly appreciated. However, room service was disappointing. The bed sheets weren’t properly made, dirty cups were left in the room, toilet paper wasn’t refilled, and new towels were rarely provided—most were simply refolded from the damp, used ones. To top it off, we even saw a bug crawling on the restroom floor. Overall, the staff at the front entrance was great, but the housekeeping and extra fees left us feeling like the stay wasn’t worth the price.

While the staff is wonderful, the hotel is poorly thought out and absolutely filthy. I was so creeped out by the 2 massive side by side body grease stains on the fabric headboard that I slept sideways and left 2 days early. Why would I leave my immaculate home to pay hundreds a night to stay in a place like that?? I was so relieved to be out of there.

The property was near the Warner Bros Lot and close to tons of cool restaurants in Burbank and Toluca Lake. The staff was great but the amenities were a little less than other hotels in the area. The included breakfast was mini pastries, bagels, tea and coffee. And the TV had limited channels and had no ability to stream/mirror from a phone.

Nice property. I stayed in one of the non renovated rooms, so a bit dated looking. The AC and Fan in the room didn’t work and we were hot all night. Our room rate was not discounted which I found to be poor service. Only the resort fee was waved which was nice but not enough given the circumstances. I would not stay there again because of this.

We booked two king bedroom suites for our family of four. We were in town for Universal studios. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The rooms were perfect and way more spacious than I had expected. Room service was fast and the food was wonderful. Will definitely recommend this little gem to others.

The noise was too much for us. Television noise from the adjacent room was terrible. Thumping from upstairs was loud. Staff yelling to each other in the halls during the early morning hours. I expected a little better from a boutique hotel.

We reserved the superior one bedroom suite for our family of 4 with children age 10-12. Not appropriate. The mattress of the sofa bed is terrible. It is really to sleep 2. Not 4. Plus, there was no sheets, no blankets, no pillows for the sofa bed.

Beautiful hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Our room door would bang loudly when anyone nearby in the hall slammed their door. It was annoying but not a deal breaker. However, the rolling bathroom door that leaves a wide open space is absolutely terrible and I honestly would not book here again because of that. It was uncomfortable not having a bathroom door shut completely while your companion is literally right nearby and can hear everything happening inside the bathroom. The hotel was quite lovely and I would recommend it if that kind of bathroom door does not bother you.

The entire staff was amazing from the valet attendant to the check-in host to the bartender to the housekeeping staff. They accommodated every single request we made in addition to going above and beyond our expectations. We were celebrating my 70th birthday and made sure it was an extra special occasion.

This booking process was poorly designed and executed. I couldn't check in on the reservation I made through the hotels.com, so I had to check in for 2 nights and pay the hotel direct. I paid for 3 nights but only stayed for two. The hotel refuses to correct the obvious error and provided absolutely no help in rectifying the overcharge. Bad service is bad service.

Amazing! Truly top notch. Excellent and friendly front desk staff, very classy decor, pristine clean. The valet service is also wonderful (though I admit there are times when it is more convenient for me to park my own car and there is not an option for self-park). This is definitely a favorite hotel now.

My overall experience was extremely horrible. The only thing about the staff there was Valley Parkers were amazing other than that. It was a horrible experience. I ordered cups to the room and as I was sitting in the balcony, they just opened my door, walked in and put the cups on the counter and left no privacy. Also, the guy in the front desk gave out my information to a random female who gave my room number and asked for my last name. Horrible, horrible experience.

Only reason for my poor staff rating was my morning Valet experience. I had a three night stay. The afternoon valet staff was courteous and friendly. However, the 10am attendant was vey rude in demeanor. I thought it was me, but my wife also noticed it as well. Both 10am attendants acted inconvenienced when bringing my car out, and my driver seat was fully reclined back. This same attendant failed to close my door for the evening. Only reason I knew was my phone app sent me a security notification. This is very unprofessional as our vehicles are parked in a public garage. These attendants worked Tues and Wed Morning. However, the attendant for my Thursday departure was fantastic! They could learn something from that young man.

This hotel was pretty great! Very clean and staff is very kind. I went to universal studios and it was about a 10 min drive there. There’s a Vons across the street from the hotel which was very convenient if you forgot anything for your trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel & will be staying here next time I go to Burbank.

We just got back from a fun family trip to LA and had a great 2-night stay at Hotel Amarano Burbank. The location and property are fantastic! So close to the Burbank Airport and Universal Studios which made it a breeze to travel around. Grocery store and restaurants right across the street. The hotel had a great continental breakfast, gym, pool, and hot tub. Every staff member we encountered from the front desk to the restaurant, and housekeeping were friendly and helpful! We loved the Hotel Amarano Burbank and will be back!

Excellent location: walking distance to Warner Bros studios, easy drive to Universal and Paramount; shopping across the street with diners and ice cream; walking distance to more shopping on Magnolia Blvd; free street parking (Maple and Oak street). Courteous staff, beautiful unique movie-themed décor, cosy dining area and ample continental breakfast included. Good pool.

The hotel employees are very nice. They are always ready to help, and they have been very helpful. The hot water spa is strongly recommended, and the pool is clean and clear. The location of the hotel is great. It’s convenient to find food in the areas. Restaurants, supermarket and bank are in the neighborhood. We’ll book the hotel again in the near future.

The hotel was very clean and every member of the staff that we encountered was incredibly helpful & friendly! The breakfast left a lot to be desired (basically just bagels/breads & coffee - no juice, eggs, meats, etc) so I wish we had a better breakfast choice. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

I want to start off with saying the breakfast was horrible. When I was look at Expedia it said that breakfast was included. But it was horrible. So the rest of the days that I had the hotel for I didn’t bother eating breakfast at the hotel. And also I was charged 40 dollars every day for the pool, hot tub, and the gym when I did not use any of them. I wish I was aware of that before reserving. I thought I was saving money with booking this hotel but I was wrong.

Hotel Amarano was excellent. Very clean, exceptional customer service, beautiful rooms with a very large bathroom and shower. We loved the restaurant, bar and friendly bartenders (Ellen, Harvey, Lindsay, Blake). The continental breakfast was a nice way to start the day and the Salty Dog was an even better way to end it. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!
