Great location downtown and next to the river, wonderful, homey feel. Western themed decor in the main hotel lobby. Lots of great patios. The hotel's Bridgewater restaurant has a nice menu selection. I enjoyed my stay!

Great location in Golden near the creek and 1 block from downtown. All restaurants and stores are walkable. Free parking behind hotel and easy off-main-street access to lot. Nice bar and lounge area, as well as comfortable seating options around hotel interior and exterior as well as on every floor. Clean spacious room with plenty of towels. Bath amenities in refillable bottles rather than individual packages. Keurig coffee machine and lots of pods in room. I believe this is a step up from the Table Mountain Inn (which I stayed at the week before). Definitely recommend if within your budget.

Great staff to check us in in the evening. The girls from the morning staff were flustered, but it was super busy, some convention was in town, but the gentleman in the evening was wonderful. Room was great! Spacious, clean and nice. Room was up to date and had a fridge. Parking was easy but unfortunately, it was extra. Within walking distance to everything downtown. Tons of eating options near by, creek right outside the window.

Was very convenient location and parking was easy. Not a lot of effort from the staff to make you comfortable, felt like more of a nuisance. I feel Like our last few rooms we have purchased via Expedia, the hotel has put us right off the lobby. Loud in the morning.

I can’t believe I paid $475 for one night at this hotel. There is nothing about it that justifies that price. Pros * Nice views upon request * Mountain decor * Inviting lobby * Free parking * Perfect location for walking around downtown Golden * Two ways to control your climate in the room * USB charging ports * Gym is nicely equipped. I found everything I needed. But it is very cramped and a pin was missing from the weight machine. I thought about telling the front desk so they could replace it but at this point I was tired of dealing with them. Cons * Mini fridges in rooms don’t have freezer sections but front desk will put your ice packs etc in their freezer for you * No valet or bell hop so plan to schlep your own stuff. Not sure if they even have luggage carts. * I couldn’t find the Wi-Fi information anywhere so I had to go back down to the front desk. * Bed was too hard and stiff. I woke up sore. * Bar was closed for a private event * TV only showed hotel info. When I selected the guide to see what was playing it reverted back to the hotel info. The next morning I let them know so they could fix it for the next guest. The girl at the front desk proceeded to tell me what I was doing wrong. I was supposed to press a random number on the remote to bring up the channel guide. Really? Who would know that? I suggested they communicate this to guests. She sarcastically said she would as if I were the most annoying person on the planet.

This hotel has excellent location and beautiful view of the creek that runs through Golden. But is outdated. The rooms are dull and nothing special. The bathroom is way too small and cramped. The workout room was not maintained well and the machines are outdated and needed cleaning. Way too much $$$—overpriced.

Great location and restaurant in the hotel was amazing; very walkable to all the shops and the river. Great outdoor spaces and the rooms were very spacious. It's an older hotel but has been nicely updated and the service and staff were great! Highly recommend and would stay here again. I would probably live here if they would let me!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Love the simplicity and the historic vibe. Including the small bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Loved everything about it ! Will be back and stay here. Can’t wait till next time. Golden is refreshing !

The staff was very friendly upon check-in and I love that they provided complimentary waters to us. The room was spacious, and we received an upgrade to what we originally booked which was very nice. The location was convenient to get around town, as we were there for a wedding down the street. We were able to walk to the wedding venue as well as several other restaurants during our stay. The only downside was that the windows may need some additional soundproofing. Our room faced a street and a restaurant, and each night we heard either loud music and people talking at the restaurant, or various cars, and trucks, including several semis that were unloading supplies at the restaurant. Even being on the third floor, this was quite loud, and impacted our stay more than expected. It looks like this restaurant has only been open a few months, so perhaps the hotel did not have this issue in the past, but it might be something they need to look into in the future. Particularly on Saturday night, the restaurant was open until 2AM with very loud music the entire time.

Staff and location were great. Glad to see the restaurant is going through a renovation. That being said, hopefully the rooms and bathrooms in the rooms will be next as they are very outdated.

The entire staff were super friendly and extremely helpful and polite. Very accommodating with every request and went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. And it all seemed very genuine and not fake. The beer was very fresh and cold and the cocktails were expertly mixed. The food service was fast and the quality was satisfactory. We would highly recommend!

My wife and I love staying at this hotel. Really in the heart of golden. They started charging for parking recently and that was not something they tell you about. They offer to validate parking when we arrived, but when we checked out they said they only validate for 2 hrs? If you’re planning on staying multiple days, you may want to think about that as parking is roughly $20 a day. Rooms are clean and we’ll be back again. Staff isn’t too inviting and definitely didn’t make the stay any better. They made us feel like we were inconveniencing them when we asked questions.

This hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. Clean, comfortable room with all the amenities we needed. Highly recommended to anyone staying in the Golden, Colo area!

I wish we could have stayed and explored longer. This hotel was a perfect location for attending an event at Red Rocks. The dining options in the area are plentiful. Parking was easy. The rooms were spacious and quiet, even right next to the elevator. We will be back.

This is the place to stay if you are in Golden, Colorado! The hotel is well-appointed, great food at the Bridgewater, rooms are clean and comfortable. You can walk just a few steps into town to shop, eat, and drink. There's a beautiful river walk trail right outside of the hotel for walking/biking/running. We were there on a weekend and the area was bustling with people tubing down the river. We loved the hotel and the area. Highly recommend!

Although the downtown area of Golden is quite small, we enjoyed staying at the hotel for its convenience. Breakfast at the restaurant was so-so but every other aspect was quite enjoyable. We did have a fire alarm at 7:40 AM one morning and never found out what happened.
