Absolutely gorgeous in the middle of the jungle. Saw so many cool animals: monkeys, macaws, iguanas. Great pool! Excellent wifi too!

I wish the hot tub had HOT WATER AND NO LEAVES (trash)

This hotel is a gem! Comfort, tranquil setting, sparkling pool, hammocks, great restaurant and food and Monkeys! Set in a jungle type setting it feels like a eco lodge and spa! Highly recommend!

This was our second visit to Palenque and we stayed here both times. My only complaint is the tile of the pool is visibly dirty missing a few tiles and it would be great if they had a mini fridge to keep water cold.

Nos tocaron días de descanso con lluvia, la habitación que nos tocó tenía filtraciones de agua, tuvieron que cambiarnos. El único restaurante con pocas opciones de comida. El jacuzzi muy bien pero con agua súper fría. El camino de acceso a las habitaciones muy resbaloso (quizá por la humedad del lugar). La ubicación esta muy bien, camino a las ruinas de Palenque.

Un bel endroit, on a l'impression d'être en pleine jungle. Le bruit des oiseaux, on a même pû voir des aras. Une belle piscine, un accès au billard. Les cocktails sont très bons, mais seraient encore meilleurs servis avec amabilité 😉 Un bel endroit où petits et grands pourront être comblés 😉

2-3 km from town, like being at an eco-lodge. Heliconias and other tropical plants and trees everywhere. Pool & area challenging to keep clear of falling leaves, etc. restaurant under Reno (stayed Sept 20-22) but room/pool service available. Food good, reasonably priced. Please change to paper or no straws. No TVs but that’s a plus for me.

Beautiful location great comfortable rooms. Terrific jungle setting. Spa!! Lovely dining room and meals. Room service and nice pool. Fantastic service by all!

Overall, given the location, I would not qualify that as a catastrophe. BUT… Although the rooms are pretty clean, they are not spotless! One of the beds had dirty sheets, that we did not use! The general condition of the property is very average. Don’t get me wrong! It’s Palenque, it’s thick forest, you have to expect humidity, smell, bugs, the whole ordeal! I can live with that! But it is very apparent that the property is not well maintained! It could be such a paradise, but the buildings are falling apart! I guess they are trying to do something about it cause the construction guys do grinder and skilsaw from 6am to 7pm… so say goodbye to the jungle vibe! And unfortunately I had good expectations for the restaurant, but it is very average and on the pricey side. Overall, all this wouldn’t matter if it were a 50-60$ CAD a night hotel but hold tous socks, it is a whopping 105$ CAD a night, which, let’s be honest, for the location, puts your expectations a bit higher! Staff is very sweet though, especially the ladies in the restaurant, but 80 pesos MX (6.50$ CAD) for a plate of frozen French fries is a big sad no-no for me, regardless of the beautiful smiles and manners of the waitresses! (And let’s not talk about the boring ambiance!!) Overall, sadly, I must say that 100$ CAD would be used somewhere else with much more bang for the buck!

Our stay at this hotel was, for the most part, excellent. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was also perfect for what we had planned. We would have given this a five-star review, but the room was missing a refrigerator, which was a significant inconvenience during our stay. If a mini-fridge had been available, it would have been a perfect experience.

Fuimos con un grupo de amigos de fin de semana y la pasamos muy bien en la alberca super limpia, el restaurante y cocina es muy buena y los cuartos están muy limpios

Hermoso y rodeado de naturaleza. La habitación es amplia y limpia y la atención del personal es buena. El costo es algo elevado pero es una buena opción.

Friendly, helpful staff, cute landscaping and tropical surroundings, extremely uncomfortable beds, thin walls, headboard not attached, did not sleep well. Place was really nice, but they need to get new mattresses. We enjoyed walking to Palenque archeological site from the hotel and the zoo across the street. 70 peso rode to the town.

Nice property in the middle of jungle. Hotel maintenance is not up to date in general. Our room next to the kitchen with constant little noise. On the other hand great pool and view. Great size of room and staff accomodating. Room clean overall. Indication to find rooms is not that good.

La verdad el lugar muy bonito a mi pareja y a mi nos encantó el espacio, la habitaciones muy cómodas y con lo necesario, quizás echaría en falta alguna TV pero entiendo que el concepto es para desconectarse, camas cómodas, aunque sus letreros para ir a las habitaciones que hay en los senderos deberían tener algún tipo de iluminación, porque en la noche es un poco complicado verlos, y 2 veces me perdí en ellos, el lugar es muy tranquilo aunque un bar o antro que está más o menos cerca del hotel se escuchaba mucho la musica, no a nivel molesto pero para que sepan, sin duda me hospedaria nuevamente en alguna próxima visita 👌

No hay televisión

I highly recommend this resort! The pool is beautiful and the proximity to Palenque ruins can’t be beat. I have a couple recommendations for the resort. 1. Put a coffee maker in the room. This would allow us time to leisurely get dressed. Some of us need a coffee to go get coffee. 2. We had the big suite by the bathroom and it would be nice to have at least a love seat in the 2nd room. There are a bunch of unused furniture in the lobby. Just move 1 love seat to the suite so there is somewhere comfortable to sit in the room.

Algunos accesorios y herrajes están mal instalados en las habitaciones. Me gustaría que tuviera tv.

I did not like that there was no TV.

The property is very nice, clean, and staff was helpful and attentive to our needs. Hotel was also environmentally conscience a big plus. A side note as we were checking-in a 3 man crew from National Geographic was also checking-in. This just reassured us :)

Receptie kwam niet vriendelijk en ongeïnteresseerd over. Hielp andere mensen terwijl hij met mij bezig was en ik weer moest wachten. Ontbijt ook matig en een dag een drilboor horen omdat in het restaurant de vloer er uit gebikt moest worden was ook inaangenaam

En general está bien. El personal resuelve pero les falta espíritu de servicio. La gente es algo tosca.

I really enjoyed our stay here staff is great, food was easily available, service was wonderful, the massage felt so good, would stay again.

La zona es hermosa y natural hay andadores para caminar.

I love the room big, clean and a lot of privacy. Amazing swimming pool and a lot of plants diversity. If you don't have car you have to bring everything you need the store is about 2 miles walking. Although the hotel has a small store but only for emergencies because the prices are high. For sure I would go back.

Good Location, Isolatated from city. This is the place if looking for jungle experience stay. Monkeys visited property. Place was clean and staff nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Instalaciones viejas y mal cuidadas. Servicio inexistente y restauración deficiente. Nos hemos puesto enfermos comiendo allí.

Parking was good, easy. Beware lots of stairs. Room was great, A/C 2 - units worked great. The only issue we had was the restaurant on site. Happy they had one to offer BUT -- it was so hot, it was unbearable to eat. Looked like they have a breakfast room with A/C & doors that closed but it was not open?? We asked about a fan? They said no fans -- until we couldn't bear it any longer and had to leave to our room. Then they wanted to offer us a fan?? Had we known better we would have ordered room service to eat in our room. ( Jr. Suite above the pool) However we were the only people in the restaurant A -- it was just too dang hot ! and B -- the food was kinda terrible, lacking in all aspects, especially for the price. Could be a good place all around, but just lacking in certain areas.

Disappointed that my request was not honored. We were not able to check in 45 min early. Asked for “ground level room most important to have a hammock” but got 2nd story with no hammock. Our dinner the first night wasn’t great, including the service. They were busy catering to the tour bus people and probably did their best. My refried beans were hard and cold, and hubby’s fried shrimp were very dark and overdone. We did not eat there again. Overall the grounds are lovely. Pool clean but remember to pick up towels at reception. It is a far walk. Our room was above the restroom for the pool and the maintenance equipment and was noisy. And it was not dark at night for stargazing due to all the lights. Got to hear howler monkeys and saw macaws flying, but not the jungle experience I expected due to noise and lights.

Beautiful grounds and pool. Amenities and room were very clean. Good restaurant on site. Staff were happy to deliver food pool side. Very convenient for visiting Palenque archeological site. Definitely recommend this hotel for a stay.

Recomendacion es que cambien la calidad del cafe en restaurante ya que es pesimo y no va acorde al nivel de la calidad del hotel, todo lo demas es bueno.

Prachtig gelegen in een groene omgeving. Regelmatig apen bij het hotel gezien. Kamers zijn wat eenvoudig. Eten in het restaurant is goed. Mooi zwembad!

Loved this place and will stay again. Great value for the cost. Excellent food in the restaurant, clean room with comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning. Howler Monkeys right in the trees on the property...amazing for me! Great pool, too. Overall, the place is relaxing, low key and a great place to relax and stay close to the Palenque Ruins (and out of the not-so-relaxing town of Palenque).
