This was a one night stop during a long cross country trip. The receptionist was very cordial and handled my reservation quickly. The hotel is in dire need of updates. The carpets are very worn, there were exposed water lines on the 2nd floor where a wall was cut open, and cleaning could be much better. My bathtub had an antislip mat in the bottom that hadn't been removed since it was installed and there was a thick layer of dirt,debris, & mold underneath the mat. The bed was extremely comfortable and I got a good nights sleep. The location is very convenient to the highway 81 ramp and several restaurants.

I suppose you get what you get when you spend $67 for a hotel room. Beds were ok. No elevator was inconvenient but whatever. However, my family was appalled by the condition of the bathroom. Toilet seat half broken, mold on the walls, dirty molding around the tub, caked on water deposits on shower head and a dirt stained bath tub. We were afraid to use the shower. Will not be staying here again.

Free coffee until 9:00 PM. I love the pets being allowed and the pets deposits but I don't like the daily pet fees. $20 a night (unrefundable), per dog is too much. Room is $50 a night for the human. So, it's $70 a night for me because I have 2 rescue chihuahuas that are my babies. Overall it is a decent deal and place for us. We've been here before and came back. We've actually extended our stay this time around.

The hotel has seen better days. Rundown and well-used. A safe place to get some rest as it is conveniently located off the freeway. With good food and groceries nearby. The best part of getting up in the morning is the local coffee provided in the office. H&G is a local hometown coffee and is sold at Kroger.

The building is old and outdated. The room was on the 3rd floor and you have to climb steps. There’s no elevator. The smoke detector in our room was pulled down I’m assuming to stop the beeping. Spend the money and stay elsewhere.

The overall stay was acceptable. But there were a few inconveniences for the handicapped. The back door that was supposed to be unlocked between 8am-8pm was not always unlocked during those hours. My room was 2 doors away from the back door, but I had to go thru the front door and walk almost all the way to the back door to get to my room. My knees and hips don't always work and this was a very painful walk. The soda machine didn't give the correct product. For $2.35 a soda I'd like to get the one I chose. But on a good note, the ice machine worked and the staff was very polite and friendly.

As soon as I walked in, the potent smell of marijuana hit me right in the face. The gentleman at the counter was nice enough. I was on the 3rd floor. When I walked into the room, it smelled like someone had just smoked a cigarette. The window was open to the room but it didn't help much. The colors of the hotel were outdated or peeling off the wall. The mattress was stained and the blankets were thin. I hate leaving reviews like this but it was by far one of the worst hotels I have stayed in.

Wrong was disgusting. A non smoking facility but 2 of of 3 blankets had cigarette holes burned into them. Toilet had a black ring mold in it. Bath tub had orange mold around the drain. Someone else’s food in the mini fridge and someone else’s trash in the trash can. Went to the front desk to bring attention to these problems to a young woman named “ash penny” who didn’t show any empathy or willingness to fix these problems. Gave me the reservation number to call back because he manger Mike that she wouldn’t give me the last name of wasn’t in the hotel to address these long existing problems this location has.

I stayed here only because it was one of the few hotels that was available. It was VT graduation weekend and hotels were booked and super expensive. This hotel needs a total renovation. It is outdated dirty and smelly. Carpeting is filthy and there is a mildew smell.

The whole place smelled so bad that we could not spend more than 15 minutes in the hotel. There was a small blood droplet stain on the pillow on one of the beds. The pillow case was never washed after the blood got on it. There was a huge stain of some sort on the chair in the room. I tried to make the best of it since it was just for one night to drop off our son but it was impossible. We ended up staying at a different hotel. I felt unsafe. I also thought the car filled with my son's college stuff was unsafe in their parking lot.

Great room. Nice staff especially Savannah. I endured 45 minutes of a dog barking at 645AM. The staff should have stopped this immediately. I hope it never happens again to guests!

Lumpiest mattress ever. Carpet was squishy & smelly. Light near the bed had no receptacle near it. Room was odorous and barely 'clean'. TV Remote was funky. Mentioned this to the front desk and asked for a different room. The female clerk said " That what you get when you book on-line!!!" OMG!. Hospitality - NOT! Summary: They tick you off on purpose to get you to leave and lose all of your money. SCAM!!! So, to repeat: they put you up in lesser digs, you mention, and they cause a scene, on purpose, to take your money- and Expedia doesn't care because they're getting paid, too. Oh, the picture of the property is from 20 years ago - it does NOT look like that now. Immigrants coming to America to treat Americans wrong in their own country. They should kick out the whole family for nefarious business dealings.

Whole building smelled of weed constantly, no matter what time of day. Room was outdated but mattresses were very comfy, linens were clean. Nice hot water for long period of time. Good coffee and snacks for breakfast in morning. Our tv never worked, lady up at desk said remote needed to be programmed again so we did and still didn’t work. Tv needs updated because there wasn’t any buttons to manually change channel. Overall, met our needs for our 3 night stay for the price.

Let me preface this by saying I travel a lot and stay in budget motels. I have LOW expectations beyond clean sheets and a door that locks. I would NEVER recommend this hotel. Would sleep in my car first. I received an e-mail after I booked the hotel stating than a $100 HOLD on a credit card was required upon check-in. Ok, standard. When went to check-in the lady said that it was a $100 CHARGE that would then be refunded in 3-5 days. I clarified multiple times that it was a CHARGE and NOT a HOLD. She said yes, that I could no it on a card, or in cash that be refunded upon checkout. I was not at all comfortable with that as it was against what was written. Plus the "lobby" was dirty, broken, and behind the desk looked like they were in the midst of a move as there was stuff everywhere. Just from the lobby felt super shady and did not inspire trust. I told her that I wanted to cancel the stay, she said fine, but that I would have to initiate through expedia and that they would approve the refund. I did so in the parking lot. Expedia said that the hotel refused the refund so I went back inside and asked the lady about it. She said that the manager had to approve it tomorrow. Again I confirmed mutliple times that they WOULD approve the refund. She said YES. Guess what. They didn't. Felt like they do this a lot and just pocket the money... My stay here was not so good at all. The front desk workers dont know to how to operate the computer system they are using. They over charge you for staying on the weekends. Plus they charge a $100 extra that they hold til you checkout. You dont get room service at all while you are staying there. When they check you in they dot explain what they have charged you and you dont get a copy of the receipt to see what you have been charged.

Toilet backed up and staff at front desk would not help me use another bathroom in the hotel. Needless to say I was exasperated because I had to go very badly and I said please come quickly to help and he felt put out because i had an attitude. He refused to help me walk away and left me. Also 3:00 in the morning there was a party going on in the hallway and it went on for quite a while with no one stopping it. I was actually scared because of this craziness.

The property itself was fine and what you would expect from a hotel in this price range. Clean enough, easy enough, etc. What we did not expect was a staff member trying to get into our room at 11:30 at night while we were sleeping and yelling to find out who was in the room. Terrifying way to be woken up and when the phone rang, and the person on the line (presumably the front desk) did not identify themselves, did not explain why our room was being entered, and did not apologize for the jarring experience, it left a bad taste in our mouth. So overall, this place is fine, but the staff and their customer service leave alot to be desired.

Wrong was disgusting. A non smoking facility but 2 of of 3 blankets had cigarette holes burned into them. Toilet had a black ring mold in it. Bath tub had orange mold around the drain. Someone else’s food in the mini fridge and someone else’s trash in the trash can. Went to the front desk to bring attention to these problems to a young woman named “ash penny” who didn’t show any empathy or willingness to fix these problems. Gave me the reservation number to call back because he manger Mike that she wouldn’t give me the last name of wasn’t in the hotel to address these long existing problems this location has.

This was a one night stop during a long cross country trip. The receptionist was very cordial and handled my reservation quickly. The hotel is in dire need of updates. The carpets are very worn, there were exposed water lines on the 2nd floor where a wall was cut open, and cleaning could be much better. My bathtub had an antislip mat in the bottom that hadn't been removed since it was installed and there was a thick layer of dirt,debris, & mold underneath the mat. The bed was extremely comfortable and I got a good nights sleep. The location is very convenient to the highway 81 ramp and several restaurants.

It aas easy to get to from the highway. Asked if we could have a room on the bottom floor, but we had booked a room with 2 beds and they were all on the top floor and no elevator. Found a half eaten chicken in the microwave. Breakfast looked scarce.

Satisfactory stay for two guys just needing a place to catch some sleep after a night game at VaTech. Beds were good enough. Decor was nice. Bathrooms was dated but functional. "Breakfast" was prepackaged mini donuts.

Whole building smelled of weed constantly, no matter what time of day. Room was outdated but mattresses were very comfy, linens were clean. Nice hot water for long period of time. Good coffee and snacks for breakfast in morning. Our tv never worked, lady up at desk said remote needed to be programmed again so we did and still didn’t work. Tv needs updated because there wasn’t any buttons to manually change channel. Overall, met our needs for our 3 night stay for the price.

Very good room for the money. Breakfast was decent, OK for the price. Coffee available all the time. I had to pry the sink drain to allow the water to drain. It seems that the less expensive hotels ALWAYS have a problem with the sink drainage, so this was a minor problem.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Room smelled like air freshener was maybe covering years of smoking trapped in carpets. Sheets stained with something, glue, chewing gum? A shirt was left in a clothing drawer. That makes me wonder how well the room was checked otherwise.

Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The room was neat and clean. The water pressure in the shower was strong and felt good. It was also pet friendly which was helpful. The only downside was that the pet area was on a hill making it difficult for dogs to relieve themselves.
