Parking seemed safe with good lighting. The only drawbacks were the soaps in the bathroom were stinky (so bring your own), the shower could have used more pressure, and the lobby smelled a bit musty/moldy. Common areas were very nice but we didn't have a need to use them other than for breakfast.

The Bearcat Inn is a terrific property in Maryville, Mo. The staff is very kind and overly helpful. The facilities have recently been updated and it’s a beautiful place to stay.

Stayed here in July. All I can say is that I didn't get very much sleep. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The AC quite working in the middle of the night. No pool. The room and hotel was clean.

The Bearcat Inn is a good place to stay while you visit Maryville (probably for NWMSU). It's clean and friendly, and it's right next door to an Applebee's. If a pool is still listed as one of the amenities, you should know that the pool is now defunct.

Hotel was quiet and front desk was courteous but the hotel itself was rather musty. Room had 2 inches of black mold above the shower, spiders in tub, appliances were old and discolored. Struggled to get TV to work correctly. Trash under edge of bed and bobbi pins on the floor. Obviously not cleaned well. Air was very loud

What an outstanding property!!! Our room was spotless when we arrived. The beds were so comfortable and were complete with layers of bedding—much better than the mid-level chain hotels. The staff were all friendly & really created a sense of welcome in this small community. Breakfast was great—many options! Loved the theme and school spirit inspired by the local university as we were visiting for football camp. Outstanding stay!

The room was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the double sinks, that were separated, so one of us could get ready outside the bathroom, while the other showered in the bathroom. The hotel was quiet. It wasn’t a fancy hotel but it fit our needs, and we would gladly stay again.

Our room was in an “annex” to the actual hotel which is a building separate from the main hotel. Apparently it has long term rentals. The room was old, very dated, needed repairs. No lobby, no free breakfast, no service. I would only recommend staying as a last resort

Arrived and were told we were getting the last available room. Our room was in a separate bldg. When I opened the door it was clear the room was already rented out. Drive back to the lobby and told the clerk that room was taken. We did not ever receive the type of room our reservation called for. She gave us a reserve room that was 2 double beds not the queen size with a couch and recliner we had been guaranteed. The tv was not hooked up to the internet. I rang the lobby desk and it rang at least 30x and was never answered. The wall heat/air unit did not work properly. In the morning I brought all this to the front desk clerk who was there again. All she said was she was sorry. Will never stay there again.

Because I booked with hotels.com, I was told I had to stay in annex building and was not eligible to stay in main hotel, qualify for upgrades and not given anything for being vip hotels.com. I have been staying at this hotel for 15 years and never been treated this way. I was told i had to contact hotels.com to get it changed but after trying for greater than 30 minutes could not contact anyone and accepted for the second trip in a row (thanksgiving too). Will never use hotels.com to book this hotel i have been coming to for 15 years without trouble nor will I book at this hotel again

Everything was great. The front desk people were very friendly. The breakfast was really good and the lady that prepared it and worked in the breakfast area was so friendly and helpful. She took a lot of pride in her work and area. It will be my go to place when I’m in the ‘ville and I highly recommend it.

The most unique thing about the property and the hotel is that it’s closeness to everything all the places to eat. Places to shop are all within threeblocks of where you stay. and then, of course, the staff you can’t say enough about the staff at this place fantastic group of management and employees highly highly recommend.

We loved that we could lounge in the seating for the breakfast area. Had a few games as well. Lottery machines was a suprise we loved that. Quiet and convenient. Applebees nextdoor and walmart or Hyvee was a short ways away. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything about the property was very good. Location was very assessable to restaurants plus very assessable to my job, which was only about three blocks away. Staff was fantastic. Will be staying there as long as I’m in Maryville.

Very clean and gilled with places to plug in electronics. Shower made a little noise, but not bad. The breakfast was terrible. The stuff out looked like just microwave stuff. Wife said the burrito was terrible and the frosted flakes were terrible.

Don’t be deceived!!! This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. We booked this hotel for a family reunion because we were under the impression that it had a pool. Nope! They also didn’t have the reservation from someone in our group and they had to stay in the Annex building. The rooms were run down and dirty, and breakfast was never restocked even though they had lots of staff working. The whole stay was very disappointing.

We reserved our room based on pictures and reviews we saw online, liked the price... but we were pleasantly surprised to find a clean, comfortable hotel with a great breakfast. It was comparable to most of the Hampton Inns and Holiday Inns we usually book. We stayed 2 nights, Friday-Saturday, and Sunday morning, the ladies running the kitchen had fresh homemade banana bread and pumpkin bread out! We would definitely stay again, if we're in the area.

Easy to get to, right on the highway. Breakfast sandwiches were individually wrapped, and staff were making it as people were eating, they couldn' really keep up, so everyone was waiting. Didn't make much sense, if there are guests waiting, just put the food out so people can choose from what is available and eat....
