Overall very nice. Very clean. All staff were pleasant. It was quiet the 1st and 2nd night. 3rd night, loud noises from next door were heard. Sounded as if they were rollong a suitcase back and forth on the wood floor. Loved the 24 hour coffee machine. Ice machine only on 1st floor and was i operable. Weekend breakfast should begin at 5 or 6am, not 7am.

The hotel looks new but there’s no pool, the breakfast wasn’t great, and we saw bugs in or room and checked out after one of four nights we were in town. They also didn’t have clean towels when the room was cleaned.

The stay is always great and quiet. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the facility. Cleanliness 10 Stars!! Plenty of parking. Very soft pillows , so if you need firm pillows bring your own. I always stay at avid for many occasions.

No carpet in the rooms which I like. Staff was very pleasant and nice! Breakfast was good. Coffee and ice available 24/7. Love that idea. Will stay again if we get that way.

So the smoke detector was like a strobe light in the room. On the wall, next to the bed, is the worst possible place for it. Hard to sleep with a light flashing in your room all night. Also, had to take a cold shower. There was no hot water left at 6:00 in the morning. They were full for a women’s conference and evidently their system could not accommodate everyone to take a warm shower.

Hotel was very nice. Room was very nice. Workers were kind. Noticed we had toilet paper rolls that were not new in our bathroom. Could tell they just folded the ends from previous travelers stay. Woke up early to head to our next destination and found 2 roaches in our room. One was in the bathroom and one was in the bed next to me. Small roaches that were alive.

Disappointed and Disturbed by My Stay I stayed at the AVID hotel from Thursday to Sunday and unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. Although I never requested room service, I did expect basic cleanliness during a multi-day stay. The room was never cleaned, despite asking for towels twice—someone finally came by around 11 PM, but the room remained untouched. Even when I explicitly requested a cleaning, the staff only picked up dirty towels and stretched out the same sheets. A piece of paper I purposely left on the floor to test attentiveness remained in the exact spot throughout my stay. The final night was the worst—a cockroach crawled out, which was terrifying and unacceptable in any accommodation. To add to the distress, my rental car was stolen from the front of the hotel at around 10:30 PM. While I recognize that crime can happen anywhere and that the hotel isn’t directly responsible, the police requested security footage, which should be standard procedure for guest safety. This stay left me feeling unsettled and deeply disappointed. The hotel has a great location with plenty of nearby food and convenience options. This was my second stay, and while the room itself was fine, I noticed that it wasn’t as clean as my first visit. The shower floor appeared dirty, so I ended up wearing slides while showering. I also noticed crumbs or dirt along the walls on the floor, which made the stay feel just average this time around. Overall, I would stay here again if needed, but I hope the cleaning standards are given a bit more attention moving forward.

We liked the modern feel of this property. It was clean and the staff was friendly. However, there are some issues. There was no in room coffee maker. Every hotel I've stayed at has had an in room coffee maker. You would need to walk down to the lobby for coffee. There was also an issue with the fire alarm. It blinks every 5 seconds or so. It is a bright strobe like light that lights up the room. When i asked the staff about it, the night person said it was a new one they put in some rooms. She said cover it up with something. This required us to stand on something to put a shirt on it. This didn't seem safe. I inquired again at checkout in the morning. The day person said it was new fire code and they can't do anything about it. I should rate this property less for this. I think they either have the wrong type of in room fire alarm or it's defective.

We spent one night here. The room was very clean. It did take us 2 hours to check in as their computer system crashed. The female worker was lovely but it was out of her control. There was no other back up system or way to issue access to the rooms so several groups just had to sit in the lobby and wait. I’m also disappointed as my stay was over two weeks ago and they are still holding my $50. Surely it doesn’t take that long to return my money.

You didn’t have my room for me. You gave it away to someone else. When I arrived to check in you said another party who didn’t have a reservation needed my room because it was Elvis week. You didn’t honor my reservation and sent me away to find somewhere else to go on my own. Y’all suck big time.

I arrived very late for check in due to flight delay. The front desk clerk was very friendly and knowledgeable. She advised of nearby restaurants, explained breakfast and I purchased drinks from the lobby. She made the stay pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. This is my first time staying at this hotel. I had never heard of it. I try enjoyed the experience.

I booked the reservation on Hotels.com and when we arrived to check in we were told they didn’t have a room for us. After leaving a received an email from Hotes.com that our reservation had been cancelled. So I assumed I would not be charged for the reservation since it was cancelled due to no availability. I checked my card this morning and they had charged me for the reservation so I then had to spend 30 minutes on the chat waiting for Hotels.com to call the Hotel to verify the above. Now I have to wait 7-10 days for my refund. What a joke.

The fact that the name says avid Memphis we took the train to Memphis and this hotel is really located in Mississippi. We wound up spending close to $200 on transportation talk about walking, where although there are a couple restaurants nearby within a half mile are so. There aren't any sidewalks in the area unless you walk through businesses and crosses their parking lots which there's traffic also. Was rather disappointing and expensive stay adfing in transportation cost. Hotel itself was nice . Also try some meat and eggs some kind of hot breakfast.

Our stay was very pleasant, the staff was very friendly and the entire hotel was very clean and well-kept. The hotel is in a very quiet area but take a 5-minute drive and you'll find yourself in a very busy area with tons of shopping and dining options. Would stay here again.

The room was nice and the staff was friendly! The ice machine and juice machine is broken, which was unfortunate but the breakfast hostess Glenda was so accommodating! She was on top of her job! She provided juice refills and made sure all breakfast items were replenished at a fast pace and was so wonderful!

Stayed for the weekend for my son's college game. Hotel was great close to interstate and restaurants. Our check-in was easy, staff was nice. Our room was nice and clean. We was disappointed in the breakfast there were no hot food items. Only continental food option. Previously at simular hotel there would be a buffet style food. We ate at IHOP for the rest of the weekend.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and it was very clean. I was, however, disappointed that breakfast wasn't served until 7 am. We had an event to attend and had to leave too early to get our included breakfast. I would think that with such a large event in town, that breakfast would have been served at 6 instead of 7. Just added an extra expense to our trip. This wouldn't necessarily keep me from staying at an IHG hotel but it is something I would consider.

Hotel was comfortable and clean, finishing seemed rush caulk in bathroom not clean and was done sloppily at sink and shower. Nice to have plenty of dove products though! Also breakfast had a good variety but would have been nice to have option to have a waffle or pancake maker for something fresh.

The hotel room just struck us as low quality -- uncarpeted floors, cheap wall hangings and hooks, fewer towels than guests. Really, it was clean enough but seemed less comfortable than similarly priced hotels. Our impression was that they probably cut corners for expenses. Only providing 2 towels and having bagels available at the limited breakfast but no cream cheese are examples of this. Our stay was fine.
