Generally the hotel is attractive, and our room was spacious and for the most part comfortable. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable, however, and the shower was absurdly small and uncomfortable to use (my wife and I are average height and weight). The staff was not overly welcoming, but the main thing that stands out is that one of the offered amenities was money changing. When I went to change money, though, I was first made to wait while the staff decided whether they were willing to make the exchange, and was then offered (a bit sheepishly) a laughable exchange rate of one Canadian dollar to one American dollar. This was not an amenity for the comfort and convenience of their guests, but attempted highway robbery. They had also offered laundry service, which we were counting on for a week's worth of laundry, but their pricing was such that it would have cost us about $400 Canadian for a week's worth of laundry (example: one pair of underpants would have cost us $5.50, as would each pair of socks). Beware! Good parking, though.
