The room was relatively recently updated (walk-in shower for example), with small but functional, outfitted kitchen and full-size refrig. It was also roomier than typical. All in all, very nice. The complimentary breakfast, while typical, was also good, with multiple hot choices and everything else one would expect. The property also bills itself as pet-friendly, without disclosing until bill time what the fee for this is. It is $75 - not sure whether per day or stay, but I was only there one night, so nothing to amortize over. I think this fee is highway robbery for one night for a 10lb, inconsequential dog, thus one star off.

Their is a dunkin donuts across the street and a 24 hr mini mart so if you need extra supplies you donot have to travel far. Plus if you have a dog don't worried the place is dog friendly they even give you snacks for the dog when you check in. Dog only $75 for 3 night stay.

Very nice welcome after a long day. The hotel accommodated my request for a first floor room as I was traveling with my dog. The room was very nice & well equipped. The grounds were very nice to walk with my dog, and the room was quiet and clean.

I mostly had a wonderful stay. However, my stay was interrupted by an interruption in power and internet. I have may several requests to management to address this concern and have yet to hear back. The general staff and facilities were otherwise lovely.

Our room was exceptional, a king suite. Breakfast was delicious with the morning paper available to read. Staff was friendly. Clients were quiet with well behaved children. Workout room offered excellent choice of equipment. Pool was clean and relaxing. Highly recommend this hotel. Will always stay here when we are in town to m8nthly.

Hotel: very clean, seemingly always quiet. Well-lit and felt safe, especially with the police and fire dept stopping by the gas station/Dunkin for breaks. Also lots of truckers who use the gas station. Didn’t interact much with staff but those I did encounter were very friendly. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. My husband said “this is as good as a diner,” after our first day. The second day they changed up the menu but the food was still good. Room: the room was gorgeous and so clean. Loved having a full kitchen with dishwasher. Dishes and cutlery provided, as well as a toaster, coffee, lots of soaps, and dishwasher tabs. The place is soundproof - we couldn’t hear our neighbors at all. TV in a great location to create division if someone wants to sit on the couch and not watch. The high ceilings made the room feel bigger than it was. The floor-to-ceiling drapes added a subtle elegance that was greatly appreciated. We loved calling Homewood our home for a couple nights; we had an amazing time together, and in a very well-managed hotel.

Property was ok service at the front desk was excellent. Angelica was very polite and did her best to resolve our issues. The rooms have a lot to be desired. Very filthy and does not meet Hilton standards. Very disappointed that we had to change room at the first entrance. It was evident that the room was not cleaned in a while the bathroom was a hot mess. We went to another room and there we almost drown in dust. To think that it was both our wedding anniversary and birthday and we spent the entire weekend miserable. Sinus and allergies acted up so terribly. There was no paper towels in the kitchen, no dishwashing liquid we texted Angelica, and she was able to give us paper towel but no dishwashing liquid. Unfortunately recommendations to this property would be a no no. I've wasted my hard earned money for a weekend of misery. Very disappointed.

We are a family of four who stayed for 4 days over the Thanksgiving holiday. The hotel and its staff were inoffensive. The pool was clean and larger than expected. The bathroom was outdated; the toilet sounded like a faucet while it was filling and took forever to do so. The door to the room was significantly smaller than the door frame, so light and noise poured in from the hallway. The couch sofa was SO uncomfortable you could feel the springs and it dipped in the center. The kitchen was clean but scantily equipped, missing a dish sponge of all things. It was helpful to have a Target 4 minutes away, and a liquor store and gas station convenient store within walking distance.

The suite was complete with full kitchen, refrigerator, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker. Front desk staff was welcoming and responsive to all requests. They provided referrals to area restaurants. All in all we are well pleased with this stay and will highly recommend to friends and family.

Sadie was fantastic excellent customer service above and beyond. Brady Lallier printed my airline tickets so I was ready for the airport. The breakfast was delicious both days an excellent variety of choices. Restroom was very clean

I stayed 3 nights at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Marlborough for a business trip. I was welcomed with a sign at the front desk when I arrived for being "(first name, last initial) You are the guest of the day!". This was very nice, I had never been greeted by a hotel in this way. The check-in clerk gave me 2 bottled waters and a $10 credit in the snack shop for being guest of the day. Besides this, the hotel was lovely and clean, my room was large and clean, and the complimentary breakfast had hot foods, cold foods, fresh fruit and oatmeal which is my favorite. I recommend staying here and will choose this hotel again the next time I am in the area for business.

Hotel was clean and layout was great. Rooms spacious. There was an issue with our reservation and instead of trying to resolve it or provide a solution, Essence was rude and defensive. Actually turned to a colleague and said “I was right wasn’t I?” Bad customer service. Room has an awful odor. There is a garburator in the kitchen and smell seems to come from there. Other than that the rooms were very clean. Location was great!

Everything was great except I stayed seven days and they cleaned my room once, the second day. And never cleaned it again. They were supposed to clean every other day but it never happened. I understand it was Xmas so they didn’t clean that day. But they didn’t clean the next day or the day after and then I was leaving.

We had the king suite & it was nicely laid out, spacious & modern. Shower was great. I always stay @ Hiltons/Hilton Brand because I can always expect the same wonderful stays/staff. Loved how the round about took us right into the hotel parking. And we had a Dunks and Mobil station next to us- very happy w/ our stay!

Very pleasant at check in and had a room ready hours before check in - thank you! My only recommendation is 11am is early for check out. I recommend breakfast start earlier around 6am or 6:30am. 7am is too late and people were waiting.

It was wonderful; unfortunately some of the food was not replenished on Monday( sausage gravy) after 8:45. Coffee on Monday, Tuesday was not hot- tasted old. The buffet staff on Sunday were amazing; not so the next two days. We will definitely return

I liked the layout of the room. Also, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was adequate - staff didn’t replenish the eggs and bacon very quickly so it was a bit skimpy until that was done. However, anything I asked for (a banana, more cheese) was brought quickly and cheerfully.
