Very easy to park,and a safe place

Very disappointed with my stay. Booked two nights with intention of comfort and relaxation. Almost all amenities advertised were not available or down for maintenance; pool, bar/restaurant, ice machine on 1st floor, etc… Front desk not friendly and or helpful. Would not recommend this location to anyone.

Room was clean and nice, nice fitness room, very small pool, no coffee available was very different, most hotels have that, was invoiced for 2 nights, 458 dollars but was charged 500

Our room looked dingey, hairs in the shower no bags in the trash cans etc. There were sunflower seeds spilled in the elevator the whole stay. The pool was fine but tiny. There is no restaurant in the hotel, only a small bar with a few food options and a couple 1/2 empty coolers with drinks by the front desk. I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come out of the office to check me out. The next day i was charged for my room again by the hotel and i still haven't gotten a refund for it

The staff they had was great- but the hotel seemed understaffed. They also advertised a pool and a restaurant /bar but both were closed- except the restaurant in the morning. Also the internet/wifi was often out.

Hotel was new, clean. The rooms were very big. But, the pool was dirty. The neighborhood was a little dicey. But happy with the proximity to the highway.

Nice, clean hotel downtown with free parking. Area doesn’t look too nice but we walked to a few bars and it wasn’t sketchy. People were friendly everywhere. No complimentary breakfast

All of the staff were very personable and friendly. However, there were many overall facility management issues. The cafe was sporadically open. Our room coffee maker was broken. We requested but never received additional bath towels. There were no towels provided in the pool. We were staying with a large party and several of our friends had no hot water during their stay so were unable to take showers. There was broken glass in the parking lot that remained for the entire four days of our stay. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this hotel.

Front office staff great. Bad issue - the Bistro was not open for dinner. Guests should have been notified that this was not open. I had to find other places to eat. Poor communication!!!

The reception managers throughout the weekend were nice, and the premises were clean; however, our room was not. We found an old cheeseburger in the refrigerator, which means they never even opened it to clean it. One of the white blankets had a disgusting stain, as if it had not been washed after the last guests left. The towels were questionable. One set was hung, as expected, but the second one was on a shelf, not neatly folded, which left us wondering if those towels were clean. There were no soap bars when we got there, the body wash bottle was completely empty and one of the light bulbs was out. Finally, we asked every night (as per the instructions), and reminded the manager every morning, that our room be cleaned. We were there for three days and nobody ever came to clean it.

Clean and quiet. We had an excellent stay.

We have been extremely disappointed in certain unacceptable conditions that we have encountered at your hotel, during our stay from July 8 to July 14. The complaints are as follows: 1. No Hot Water! During our stay and especially in the morning, the water for showering and shaving, varied from cold to slightly warm. 2. Lack of towels prepositioned in the room and lack of towels, on hand for us to pick up. 3. Lack of prepositioned cups for coffee or stock of coffee. 4. Lack of any prepositioned soaps or lotions for hand cleaning. They have body soap, shampoo, and conditioned dispensers inside the shower, but nothing at the sink area to use there. 5. The bathroom floor and toilet had to be cleaned up, upon arrival. 6. Front desk staff sometimes inaccessible by phone in the evening for questions/amenities. 7. Non-smoking policy in hotel needs to be enforced as it smells like marijuana and cigarette smoke for multiple days. 8. Light in shower starts flashing like a strobe after a few minutes of being switched on. 9. Need to revisit no trash can liner policy as the cans are very sticky and it is not hygienic. We purchased our own liners. 10. Some electrical outlets were not working, especially near coffee pot. 11. Light in corner of room was very dirty. 12. For the prices you charge, you should offer some kind of free breakfast. The staff has been very helpful in trying to provide what they can, as we have requested it. They had also allowed us to check in early on July 8,

Super clean room and lobby. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Look forward to visiting this property again.

Hair in the bed. Shower not cleaned. And no soap in dispenser. Talked to front desk about it and was told they have problems with the housekeeping. No offer to make it right.

The hotel was terrific only issue was beds need new pillows they have ran there course fluffy appearance but once your head gets on them they go flat

Our stay was very nice. However it was very hot in the room and we couldn’t get the room to cool down.

While the staff was as helpful as they could. I was still really disappointed that the kitchen wasn't open for lunch or dinner. I generally look for these hotels specifically so I can eat at the end of my day from traveling, rather than try to find something out on the town. Also, my room didn't have a microwave, which was also disappointing. In general, for the price of the room, I received way less and paid much more.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

No towels in the room at all. Thank goodness it was my kiddo and not me alone in the room because we didn’t even notice it before she got in the bathtub. Beds were super comfy. Unique view of intimate downtown Albion from our room. Would stay again.

I was surprised there wasn’t a microwave in the room. The compact fridge didn’t keep anything cold, and there was no continental breakfast or any type of free breakfast . Not Marriott standards.

Very nice lobby area and bistro breakfast food was very good. However, our view was a brick wall.

Did not like the fact that the refrigerator only ran for a couple hours at a time. Not ideal for a 4 day stay with the potential for leftover food or drinks & snacks. What if someone had medication that needed refrigerating?

Everybody was so nice and easy going, I wish that I could get this service everywhere

The staff here was absolutely amazing. From the front desk clerk to the bartender everyone was great and made us feel very welcomed. Was in town to visit the college and, if we chose this college, I'll be more than happy to coming to visit my child as long as i can stay at the courtyard

Didn’t like that we were there for four days and our room was only cleaned once. We went to the front desk several times and asked them to bring towels empty trash cans. They said they were short staffed. We asked when they were coming to clean and they asked if there was a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. And we said no. We payed a lot of money to stay there and that was the worst experience that we have had there. We have stayed there in the past and never had those kind of problems and this was even after the pandemic. We were not even offered a discounted rate for the poor services.

Upon arrival staff told us to wait, room being cleaned, while giving other people their rooms. The manager canceled reservation due to over booking and sent us to different hotel 20 miles away. That hotel stated your manager did not send payment for room and multiple days not listed in the letter she handed me. So we called manager then she stated for us to come back another 20 mile. The hotel parking lot was empty did not see overbooking. Apparently the manager was saving rooms for a nearby college event. When we contacted the college told them we are here for same event then room was available for us. Also said will reimburse for room and did not honor that.

It was cancelled because they overbooked.

For starters, I was coming in town for a funeral. I received and email shortly before boarding my flight that my reservation was cancelled. When I called and asked about the reason while boarding they said that they had a water pressure issue and had to shut down parts of the hotel. There were no suggestions of where to go other than there are hotels in Jackson and also Marshall. My wife was able to jump online while I was in flight and book me at a hotel in Jackson. When I arrived and told my family meme red about what happened they said that happened to someone else in the family, keep in mind that the rest of the family was still in the hotel and mentioned no issues. Come to find out the truth was that they had only one housekeeper working that day and were not able to get rooms cleaned. Tell me the truth would have been better than telling a sine cold lie. Integrity above all. The courtyard in Jackson was accommodating but Albion not so much.

The Courtyard hotel in Albion is a modern facility with wonderful rooms and lobby. Everything is clean and comfortable. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The location is perfect, right on Superior Street in the heart of downtown, and they have free parking. I highly recommend this hotel anytime you're in Albion or just passing through.

The construction going will make it better. No breakfast.

We selected the property because of the availability of breakfast, as we had to leave before 8am. There was no barista there for the promised Starbucks and no cook to prepare food.

Everything was nice except the last day they apparently did not have coffee or it may have been coffee filters. Which for a nice hotel they should always have coffee for their guests. And it would be nice if they had a continental breakfast instead of having to pay for it.

No amenities to speak of not even a decent cup of coffee. The coffee that was available was old and stone cold no cream. Employees hanging outside around the entrance of the building could smell marijuana in that area on 2 different occasions. Will not stay again . Front desk people were the highlight of the stay.
