The Glen House

The views were amazing and the kids loved going tubing right behind the property. The only thing that was disappointing was the pool was absolutely freezing even though it is advertised as heated. Other than that we will most definitely be back!

Nice, clean, safe surroundings. Beautiful ambiance of the hotel and wonderful views of the mountains right outside. The kids had a great time in the indoor pool. A short drive to nice hiking trails. Would stay again.

Beautiful hotel. Gorgeous setting. Bar is very nice. Restaurant is adequate. Ski-in/ski-out at Great Glen Trails and proximity to Jackson Ski Federation is a huge plus. We'll be back.

The Glen House was very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bartender Neil was great and makes excellent drinks. The food at the on site restaurant is very limited for dinner but for breakfast they have everything you could want. The rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable. Just wish the rooms had a larger mini fridge and microwave. The pool looked kind of dirty and the water was not that warm. Could use a good scrubbing. The views is Mt Washington were stunning. Overall it’s a really nice hotel but not worth the amount of money they charge for a room.

Stayed here on a recent trip to the White Mountains and it was perfect. The place was super clean, which I really appreciated, and it had a lot of nice amenities that made the stay easy and comfortable. Parking was a breeze—no stress finding a spot, which is always a win. The best part though? The views. Absolutely gorgeous. Waking up and looking out at the mountains every morning was worth the trip alone. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The property really showcases its location on the rear patio with an amazing view of the mountains. Next to the fully stocked bar, a glass of wine and seat by the fire pit make it the perfect place to unwind. The bedding is comfortable and the bathroom is of good size with soft towels and a nice shower. The hiking paths straight out the back door are well marked and easy-to-moderate in difficulty. Great place!

The place is well designed inside, quiet, with a great view of the mountains from the lounge. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Small pool also has a great view.

Our stay was wonderful. The views were gorgeous, the food was great, and the personnel were very helpful and friendly. The outside fire pit, the walking trails, and indoor pool was all bonuses to our stay

I would have been a 5 however our entire stay no one ever came to straighten room. We called for trash twice, and it was never taken. Thankfully we had a balcony to just piled trash there. We have a baby and the diapers piled up. Food was amazing. Room very cute. Gym perfect for vacation. Pool nice, but unfortunately was temp of 76 degrees.

Beautiful hotel. Only complaint was the black flies in the guest rooms. When I told the front desk they said yes we get them year round. Nothing further. They should do something about the fly problem. There were MANY dead and alive and gross

One of the nicest hotel rooms ever. Larger room than most. Great decor. Quality furniture and cabinets. Wood trim and doors properly painted - not rolled on for quick job. Two glasses in the bathroom for guests. Dimmer switch in bath that allowed to use as nightlight. Thermostat controlled AC - NOT through the wall noisy hotel unit. Large shower. Clean new construction- but solid quality build! So wonderful and appreciated!

Nice and clean rooms

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much overall. It was a beautiful snowy weekend and the mountain views were lovely. We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and having delicious drinks at the bar. The restaurant food itself unfortunately fell extremely flat. We felt it was very overpriced for food that seemed to be rushed, undercooked, and under seasoned. The room was very nice and the shower was great, though the room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. We found some hair, crumbs, and stains on the bed sheets that turned us off. Overall we would go back if in town, but would definitely choose to eat somewhere else.

Wonderful stay at the base of the Mt. Washington auto road. My daughter and I sat around the outdoor fireplace and played games and chatted with other guests. It's got a great ambience! The hotel is very clean and the staff was friendly - we would defintely stay here again.

The hotel is just ok. It’s mostly about the location and view. The hotel itself is pretty basic other than a very nice lounge with lovely views. Rooms are fine but house cleaning was poor - just changing sheets, no towel replacement, didn’t not provide additional toilet paper, did not take empty plastic cups from around the room etc. Coffee/tea in lounge is a nice treat. On two of our four nights they also had cookies. Would have liked a coffee machine in room though. Pool is pretty small and not warm enough in winter though my girls still enjoyed it. Breakfast is pricey (15$ French toast and 13$ pancake) with poor service. Dinners at lounge (including the special Christmas dinner) were quite nice. It’s nice being this close to mount washington and the activity center next to it, though the disadvantage is being about 15min drive from any other food options.

This is a beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel with wonderful views of the mountains. The one drawback is our room is adjacent to the pool and the sounds of people in the pool echo through the wall.

My room was by a busy door and stairway, lots of traffic noise along with constant noise in the room above mine.

Front desk staff were great, however maitre d of the restaurant needs to learn how to work in a hospitality business. First room had TV issues and we were moved to another room where AC did not work. I do want to acknowledge that the front desk were very helpful!

Big beautiful building but felt cozy indoors. Bar/lounge area was nice. Patio with fire pit right outside lounge area. Clean room/ linens/ bathroom, which is always good! Our room had a balcony with a view of the mountains but overlooked the parking area. We were going to the Cog Railroad the next day, which Hotels.com says is a few miles away. It is actually an hour way. You have to drive around the mountain. The Auto road to drive yourself is a few miles from The Glen House. However, it is a beautiful drive.

The hotel is essentially brand new. I would’ve given it five stars, except that the walls were a little bit thin. We could hear the people next-door closing their curtains. The bathroom is excellent the shower and everything our top-notch. The food and the service were excellent, and the lady at the front desk was extremely friendly overall it was a great experience.

THe hotel was very very clean! the bedsheets were very soft. Pillows were very comfortable. My main negative is that our room which had the mountain views was one of the rooms with a door to the room next door and the sound isolation was horrible. It was almsot like they were in our room. We could also hear the people walking around upstairs. So the sound isolation was not good. Aside from this would highly recommend. The restaurant is convenient. the food is mediocre. Unfortunately, they do not have too many staff so the service is slow.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The view of the mountains from our room was breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. The television and stations were awful. The tv was blurry and when you chose a station it wasn’t the one you were looking for. Not a good selection of stations. There was no Disney+ which is terrible when you’re traveling with children. There wasn’t enough lighting. They only had lamps so it was very low and soft light. Loved the high ceilings and room darkening drapes but the door to the outside balcony was not properly insulated. When I pulled the drapes back there was actually some snow that had accumulated on the carpet through a crack of the door. It was very drafty and cold. You could feel the draft move right over the floor. I was looking for lotion and they didn’t even have any in the rooms for guests. That was disappointing.

We have stayed at the hotel several times and it’s been excellent every single time. The staff are particularly friendly and attentive. We’ll be back!

I would 1000% stay here again. I felt at home, the cleanliness was impeccable (better than a decent amount of hotels i’ve stayed in domestic/international). Service was wonderful. Only regret is not staying more than one night!

Helpful and motivated staff who looked like working as a team. Rare to find in hotels in this range these days.

The front desk staff wanted to charge me an additional $20 for.generic amenities. She told me to avoid the charge I would have to speak to the manager who was not in until the next day. She eventually removed the charge. 2 queen beds mattresses were both uncomfortable with worn toppers. Pricing of room from one day to the next went from Monday -$203 to Tuesday-$367, which is difficult to understand.

Pool was slimy, check out staff was not friendly/didn’t care that we didn’t have a great experience. Food service did not communicate despite us confirming and we were short a meal upon departure for my child.

Lobby have a great atmosphere, rooms are very clean and spacious, food was great , my only issue was that the staff wasn’t very friendly, and they gave us different answers for the same questions

Unfortunately, I have to change my review for this place! we stayed at this place last year and we really enjoyed our stay and that's why we decided to come back this year. I wish I could record the level of noise we are going through right now. They are having a wedding party and they gave us a room right above the wedding room. The whole room is shaking and it is 9pm. The staff are telling me there is nothing they can do about it and I just need to wait for another hour (10pm). This is absolutely the worst hotel experience I had in all my hotel stays. Here is what they could do: - Not assign rooms above the party room to non-wedding people. - Let us know in advance if we are OK with this - Change our room - Control the level of bass of the music so the whole room doesn't shake. This is quite poor hotel management. You are going to lose our business. There are plenty of other options around.

Love the location near the entrance to the Mt Washington Auto Road, beautiful view of the mountains from our king room, and lovely patio with firepit to enjoy the fresh air. Trail system on property was easily accessible and something for all. Delicious food at the Notch Grille. Not far from North Conway if you need to have some busy tourist vibes. Would definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend to stay at the Glen House hotel. The hotel is so clean and beautiful. The staff are super friendly and helpful with excursion advice. The van ride for the top of Mt Washington is directly across the road. So super easy to access. There are plenty of walking and hiking trails straight from the property. And it is close to many other star attractions for the area. Loved it.

It’s literally at the base of the Mount Washington auto road, the mountain view’s include Mount Washington and are spectacular, rooms are modern and clean (get one with balcony and Mountain View) restaurant was good. Enjoy the sound of the river out back. Just lovely.

Left with mixed feelings. We were friendly greeted. The room was fantastic. Clean, spacious, excellent bed and shower. The scenery of the lobby and backdrop of the mountains is stunning. We decided to have dinner at the hotel. The staff was very friendly but probably understaffed. It took a very long time to get the order in and adter the first course it took about 30 minutes for the second. We didn’t mind too much but there was a guy sitting next to us who waited equally as long just to make his order. We simply didn’t see any staff for 30 minutes at all. The food was average to be honest. I had their signature burger which was very dry and tough to swallow. The fries very salty. Not great, not bad. Dessert was good on the other hand. There was a mixup with the bill (we got it from another table) so had to walk to the counter. Honest mistake and was solved quickly and friendly. Next morning we decided to checkout first and then stay for brunch. There was nobody at the counter and there was a sign to simply drop the keys so we did. We went over to the breakfast/dinner area. We ordered drinks first which again took a long time time to arrive. You could tell she’d forgot because when she returned to take our food order she noticed we hadn’t received our drinks. The food was okay, and not expensive. I received our invoice during breakfast which stated a weird charge so had to go to the counter to sort that out. It was yet another mistake. Staff is friendly yet many mistakes.

Staff was welcoming, even gave us cookies! Coffee and tea was available. Room was clean. View was stunning of the mountain- choose mountain side! Fire pit was gorgeous to soak in the view, outdoor eating was serene. The restaurant was fantastic for both appetizers (best bruschetta of my life!) dinner and breakfast I wish we lived local we got home tonight and I told my spouse I was craving another dinner there! I loved the smash burger and he loved the half chicken! Omelets with smashed potatoes for breakfast we’re rockin! Bed and pillows great, hot beautiful shower/bathroom. Didn’t love the shampoo and conditioner provided or the air conditioner seeming a bit too noisy. A tub would have been a bonus. Again, property stunning. Great location between story land and Santa’s village. We will be back and likely upgrade to a room with a balcony to soak up more scenic vibes! Staff for restaurant also welcoming. Best place in the region, the feeling at the Glen House is worth the extra price for your stay compared to other options.

It was a wonderful stay. The Notch has great food and is located right there on the hotel property.

The hotel, location and view are fantastic. We enjoyed the room, the pool and ambiance. However, the hotel restaurant doesn't quite live up to the hype. It's possible that they are short staffed. The service was slow even when they were only half full, and for the premium prices we found the dinners wanting for flavor. Breakfast, service aside, was fantastic.

Wonderful hotel with excellent customer service. Nice restaurant with outdoor dining overlooking the mountains and sunset. Super clean room and common areas. Highly recommend!!

This is our second time staying here. The hotel and location are absolutely stunning. Very quiet, somewhat remote. The view alone is priceless. The pool is lovely. The dining room is modern, clean, and has gorgeous views. Our meals were a disappointing this time around-- dinner was just OK, and not the amazing experience we had last year (although our waiter was very attentive and lovely!) Breakfast was just awful. Overpriced, bad-tasting, and my son wouldn't even eat his pancake-- my husband said it tasted like the oil the potatoes were cooked in. The omelet was tiny, and the filling was micro-cubes with no flavor. Se sat for an absurdly long time. Our waitress was nowhere to be found for half of the morning. To the point that we were all getting incredibly frustrated. We will definitely be back because we enjoy this hotel-- I just hope they can step up their food options a little (or we might venture into town to eat!) The frond desk staff were great. They check the pool levels regulary. Rooms are very clean and nice. (I noticed algae growing on railings and decks outdoors-- could have used a little cleaning!)
