The staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed Easter weekend and the hotel made it great for kids - included an Easter egg hunt. The only issue was that the restaurant seemed to be understaffed, but everyone was really nice. The hotel itself was very clean. Pool area was very nice. Only drawback was that there was no hot tub. Otherwise, a really nice place. Would stay there again.

I only stayed at the Hotel MDR one night, and didn't require much from the staff. But the place seemed well maintained, and the room was clean and spacious. I exercised in the morning. The elliptical machines weren't working, so I jogged on the treadmill and lifted some weights. There were many children there with their parents, which is fine.

Good location. Good maid service. Property looks old and run down like a 1970s Hawaii vibe. Big giant stains on the carpet in the hallways. Elevators constantly breaking down. Pool area is run down and the life guard chair is so broken it is rusted and hanging in the water as a safety hazard. Pool is dirty and very small. Not enough towels or chairs for the size of the hotel. Lots of hidden charges like parking at $30 per night and a parking tax. The breakfast brunch is horrible and way over priced. It should be free. I booke the hotel because it had 4 stars. This hotel is hard 3 star.

I think the parking facility and leaving the parking was not convenient. We were given this tiny slip of paper which supposedly we have to put in front of the scanner so it would open. On one night, we were stuck for 15 minutes and couldn't get out. The scanner was not reading the paper with the code. The front desk gave us another slip, but that one also didn't work. There was no proper instruction on the slip or on the machine which would tell us how far and how to present the slip to the scanner/reader. Instructions and information should be on the paper slip and also on the display of crossing bar machine so people can figure it out. Instead of the paper slip, those square thin cards which the machine reads in work better.

Overall, decent hotel for a quick stay. If you're coming here for a getaway, I would look to better kept, higher end hotels. One thing that was very obvious were the hallways being in need of some tlc. They were filthy, and carpets were buckled the entire length of the hallways.

Bathroom looked like it wasn’t cleaned. Toilet had a blackish ring, was an apple slice on the floor, and the floor looked like it wasn’t cleaned. Room smelled a little funky as well which isn’t a good first impression. Lots of food places and hotel backs up next to a grocery store. However lots of sketch characters and homeless folks hanging around the hotel parking lot and behind the grocery store which made it feel unsafe to walk around.

There were ants in my room which made me feel very unsteady and tons of rust spots everywhere. Also online sit said the parking is paid for but when you go inside and check in they add 30$ for it while on hotels.com it says it comes with parking

Our room was never cleaned the entire stay despite us requesting it to be done twice. Meanwhile, we asked for fresh towels on four occasions and it never was brought to us. The hallways were dirty with carpet coming up and very loose. The AC was very loud and difficult to sleep.

The location is good as the hotel is surrounded by many dining options, cafes, and grocery within walking distance. Most of the attractions are within 30min by car. All the staff are very nice. They welcome you with cookies and bottle of water at check-in. I checked-in 10min before 3pm, however I was asked to return at 3pm to get the room key. Personally I feel this is bad customer service. The parking is expensive for $33/day for being only an outdoor parking. The bar code for parking is a piece of paper and is really hard to angle the sensor to access the parking lot. I highly recommend to schedule your housekeeping service at Check-In. I was on the 2nd FL in 2 Queens. The carpet smelled and the bathroom needs some deep cleaning. The shower wasn’t draining the first night. I had to lift the drain cover and sweep away the hair…obvious it’s not my hair since it was my 1st night. There was a dead roach in the bathroom. They housekeeping needs to be more mindful. Overall, it was ok. It’s wasn’t awful. You get what you pay for.

the air-conditioning unit in the room was very loud. We were also in a room facing the freeway so it was also very loud through the sliding door. the carpet throughout the facility needs to be changed. our door did not close all the way, needed to pull it shut when leaving. The elevator lights were not working. Needs a lot of updating.

Just above basic for this hotel. The area around was convenient with restaurants and stores for supplies. Close to the marina which was great for wandering. The room was small even though we got an upgrade. The staff were super friendly and lovely. I would stay here again

The bed was huge (king) for two people that are used to a queen. It was comfortable as were the pillows. The only thing that we felt the room could use was a microwave. We did take out ans couldn't finish our food. It would have been nice to warm it up to finish it. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again and recommend your hotel ti others

There is strange and nasty smell coming from the drain. My door lock went out of battery and technician had to come open the door manually. Gym is very small, there are only two treadmills and one is broken. I asked for extra facial tissues and never got any.

The hotel was clean and visually appealing. However, our room was located directly across from the elevators, which were extremely loud and repeatedly disrupted our sleep throughout the night. In addition to the noisy elevators, the air conditioning unit in our room was excessively loud, making it difficult to fall asleep and causing us to wake up multiple times. Furthermore, the bed lacked proper support and was uncomfortable.

Lovely hotel, did ask to move on arrival as the lift mechanism could be heard in the room every time the loft was called. Once moved we were in a nice quiet room with good facilities and a nice view over the pool.

Made a last minute reservation and was given what was probably the worst room in the hotel- bottom floor next to the linen laundry, 2 slamming exit doors and a parked car right outside the window. There was a loud hum every few minutes from outside of the room along with the usual mini-fridge hum. Workmanship and upkeep in the room was shoddy- there was no toilet paper holder and instead a missing tile where it would have been, the hole in the tile at the base of the shower control was much bigger than the base.

The steak I ordered wasn’t prepared correctly 2 x , and the room key didn’t work 2 x when I went back after walking all the way back to the front desk , then it happened again ; a short weekend nonetheless disappointed; your one staff member at the front desk was the only one who seemed to care she took charge of the situation and fixed like the only one to work in hospitality. Kudos to her.

My stay at this hotel was extremely unpleasant, primarily due to poor customer service. Despite calling the front desk twice and even visiting in person, my requests for towels and other necessities went unfulfilled, and my room was never cleaned during my three-day stay. To make matters worse, we were locked out of our room because the key card system stopped working due to a dead battery. While the staff did provide another room for the night, we were left without access to essential items like our phone chargers, medication, and other personal belongings. It wasn’t until the following day that we were able to access our original room. When I raised my concerns with the front desk, the staff member assured me that the hotel would cover my parking charges for the rest of my stay (a $30/day fee). However, at checkout, I discovered that the parking charges had not been waived as promised. I requested that the issue be corrected, which it eventually was, but the lack of an apology was striking. The front desk staff simply said, “We covered your parking—have a good day,” without acknowledging the inconvenience I had experienced. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing stay, and I regret choosing this hotel. I will not be staying here again in the future.

Upon check in I requested to have towels and trash replaced each day which wasn’t and I had to ask on four occasions- then challenged by the front staff to show me they put in a request when I physically went to the front desk and talked to the same person the day before. Really!!!

Check-in rep was NOT welcoming. We had a late check-in, and he provided zero information about the hotel and seemed like I was bothering him with any questions. Not a great start. The room is pretty standard. Bathroom is ok. Pool area is great. Called for additional towels and very slow to respond. I think they need to work on their service in general. Overall, a basic 3 star hotel. Nothing outstanding, but nothing terrible.

Our room wasn’t ready for another 30 minutes when our check in was at 3pm. We got there at 3:50ish pm to check in so a little later than 3 and you would think our room would be ready right? Well it wasn’t ready until until 4:20ish. We were upset about this

Ok, lets start, I was their for 4 days for a convention, if you stay here, get the room I had, a room with an outdoor patio overlooking the pool area, all these rooms are on the first floor, it was great having a drink on the patio. Great location, when I say great location, their was a vons, behind our parking lot, big shopping center, cvs, panda express, etc. Lots of stores. The entire Hotel is covered by shopping centers everywhere. Also it was a 5 minute drive to the Harbor, with more restaurants and guess what, another shopping center, with a Ralphs, Starbucks, Shake Shack, etc. You cannot beat this location. So much to do, and everything is walking distance. Can it all be this great, something had to go wrong, and it did, but I still give them 5 stars for correcting the problem. Upon checking in, my room smelled like someone had just finished smoking in it, I asked for another room, they gave me a room in the higher floors, but it wasnt as nice as the room with the outdoor patio. I went back to the front desk, and said i want my first room back, what can you do about the smell, room service came in within 5 minutes, sprayed everywhere, whatever it was, room smelled like a new car, and their was no more smell of smoke. Really did appreciate the fast response. Since it was corrected so well, I will not take a star. The Whole front desk staff was great, Sorry that I can only remember 1 name, I believe it was William. But everyone was great. Thanks Ricardo

Nice hotel. Seems newly renovated and it was nice to see that they designed the rooms to the average travelers needs rather than just making it look cool and slick. Room was quite comfortable. Staff were pleasant. Good location to many things including the airport.

Staff was amazing! Rooms and bathrooms clean, gym was small but functional the only thing I was let down with was their breakfast. For $50 between my husband and I to eat cold under seasoned eggs and potatoes was a total rip off but their burgers were amazing! I’d save your money for breakfast unless you don’t care for the eggs potatoes and pancakes. Other than that everything else was really great.

It has a very inviting atmosphere, it’s nice to have a bar and a high quality restaurant on site. The room was ample and my husband loved the big TV! Football season has started. The breakfast buffet was very nice and I loved that I prepaid for it and it was a great deal, I will do that again on our next stay!

Property was fine, Restaurant not so fine. Food was cold, old and dry, Breakfast. Seemed like it was cooked the day before. Certainly not value for money at $30+ per head. Hilton needs to clean this problem up, let's get it up to least a Hilton minimum standard. Embarrassing for the brand.

For the price, MDR was an excellent value. Our bed & pillows were comfortable, and the room spotless. The shower water pressure was a bit low, but acceptable. The staff was friendly, and the lobby open space layout very inviting. Outdoor seating in the restaurant was inviting, as was the cabana-included pool area. Only complaint? Called room service 6x between 8:30 and 9:30 on a Wednesday night and no one ever picked up. Also, the overnight parking charge ($30) is a bit excessive.

The bartender on duty both evenings was fabulous. Super knowledgeable, very polite, made excellent drinks and even made great cappuccinos! Just an overall nice guy! Wish I would have got his name.

Awful food and not much of choice we always stayed at this hotel in the past but I came back after couple of years this place went down the food was terrible and the bar had cheap quality drinks and front desk service was awful we had problems with our keys few times So sad and disappointed
